On a fog-choked stretch outside Modesto, California, a late-night drive turns into something Mark still struggles to explain years later. Visibility was low, conversation was casual, and nothing felt out of place—until a lone figure appeared at an intersection where no one should have been standing. Dressed in outdated clothing and impossibly still, the man seemed to exist outside of time itself. What happened next wasn't fast. It wasn't dramatic. It was slow enough to register… and impossible enough to leave a mark. There was nowhere for the figure to go. No cover. No shadows deep enough to hide in. Yet in front of three witnesses, the road returned to empty silence. This isn't a story about fear in the moment—it's about the way a single unexplained encounter can permanently change how the world feels afterward. Especially when the fog rolls in. #RealGhostStory #VanishingFigure #FoggyRoad #TrueParanormal #UnexplainedEncounter #RoadsideApparition #HauntedHighways #ParanormalExperience #SomethingWasThere Love real ghost stories? This bonus episode closes the Rich Woman Reset series with intention, reflection, and power. As the year comes to an end, you are invited to pause and consciously choose how you want to be seen, supported, and paid in 2026. This is not about goal setting or pushing harder. This is about identity, visibility, and aligned wealth. In this short but meaningful episode, Karen guides you through a reflective ritual to help you release what no longer belongs in your next chapter and declare the version of yourself you are stepping into. What This Episode Covers In this episode, you'll be guided to: Reflect on how you've changed over the past month Release old stories that no longer serve you Anchor your visibility for the year ahead Declare aligned wealth and calm leadership Choose community, support, and self-trust This episode is designed to be listened to quietly, journaled with, or replayed whenever you need to reconnect with your intention. If your year feels scattered, it's not because you lack discipline — it's because you're missing direction. One word can change that. In this episode of PivotMe, April dives into the transformative power of choosing a Word of Intention for a specific season of life and aligning it with your 4 Rocks. Instead of chasing yearly resolutions that fade by February, April makes the case for planning life in 12-week blocks — a system that creates clarity, focus, and momentum. Through personal stories and real-world examples, she shows how a single word can act as a filter for decisions, energy, and priorities — helping you live with intention instead of reacting on autopilot. Key Takeaways Words shape behavior, identity, and outcomes more than we realize. Choosing one Word of Intention aligned with your 4 Rocks increases focus and follow-through. Planning life in 12-week seasons is more effective than annual goal-setting. A defined "season" for your word keeps motivation high and prevents drift. Examples of powerful words include: Energy, Connection, Joy, Growth, Fearless, Strength. Visibility matters — writing your word where you'll see it daily reinforces action. How to Use Your Word of Intention April walks listeners through simple, actionable steps: Choose a word aligned with your current season and priorities. Define what that word looks like in action. Anchor it to a 12-week timeframe. Paint your world with it — notes, screens, journals, reminders. Make daily decisions that reflect that word. She closes by challenging listeners to imagine how their next 12 weeks would look if they truly lived their word, sharing examples like Fearless, Enthusiasm, Present, and Joy. Across 152 conversations this year, a set of recurring patterns kept surfacing, regardless of whether the discussion focused on application security, software supply chain risk, AI systems, or creative work. The industries varied. The roles varied. The challenges did not.One theme rises above the rest: visibility remains the foundation of everything else, yet organizations continue to accept blind spots as normal. Asset inventories are incomplete. Build systems are poorly understood. Dependencies change faster than teams can track them. The issue is not a lack of tools. It is a willingness to tolerate uncertainty because discovery feels hard or disruptive.Another pattern is equally consistent. Integration matters more than novelty. New features, including AI-driven ones, sound compelling until they fail to connect with what teams already rely on. Security programs fracture when tools operate in isolation. Coverage looks strong on paper while gaps quietly expand in practice. When tools fail to integrate into existing environments, they create complexity instead of reducing risk.Security also continues to struggle with how it shows up in daily work. Programs succeed when security is embedded into workflows, automated where possible, and invisible until it matters. They fail when security acts as a gate that arrives after decisions are already made. Teams either adopt security naturally or route around it entirely. There is no neutral middle ground.Context repeatedly separates effective leadership from noise. Risk only becomes meaningful when it is framed in terms of business operations, delivery speed, and real tradeoffs. Leaders who understand how the business actually functions communicate risk clearly and make better decisions under pressure. Finally, creativity remains undervalued in security conversations. Automation should remove repetitive tasks so people can focus on judgment, problem solving, and design. The same mindset that produces elegant guitars, photographs, or products applies directly to building resilient security programs. These five patterns are not independent ideas. Together, they describe a shift toward security that is visible, integrated, contextual, workflow-driven, and human-centered.Read the full article: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/five-patterns-from-152-podcast-episodes-2025-changed-i-martin-cissp-st1ge________This story represents the results of an interactive collaboration between Human Cognition and Artificial Intelligence.Enjoy, think, share with others, and subscribe to "The Future of Cybersecurity" newsletter on LinkedIn: https://itspm.ag/future-of-cybersecuritySincerely, Sean Martin and TAPE9________Sean Martin is a life-long musician and the host of the Music Evolves Podcast; a career technologist, cybersecurity professional, and host of the Redefining CyberSecurity Podcast; and is also the co-host of the On Location Event Coverage Podcast. Episode Overview In this timely and thought-provoking episode of the John Kitchens Coach Podcast, John Kitchens is joined by returning guest Eric Post, AI strategist, founder of Huzi.ai, and one of the sharpest minds at the intersection of technology, consumer behavior, and real estate. This conversation goes far beyond "how to use AI." John and Eric unpack the real threat and opportunity in the market today: the AI-powered consumer. As consumers gain instant access to information, agents can no longer win by being the knowledge holder. Instead, success now belongs to the wisdom worker—the advisor who brings clarity, discernment, experience, and trust. They explore how the internet has shifted from a place of search to a place of conversations, why SEO alone is no longer enough, and how agents must rethink branding, content, leadership, and customer experience to stay relevant in 2025 and beyond. This episode is a masterclass in AI, leadership, consumer psychology, and designing unforgettable client experiences in a rapidly changing world. Key Topics Covered The Rise of the AI-Powered Consumer Why the #1 consumer complaint is no longer lack of communication—but "I know more than my agent" How AI has shifted the internet from search to conversation What it means when 90%+ of AI interactions never click through to a website Why Zillow is no longer the real threat—and what is From Knowledge Worker to Wisdom Worker Why memorizing contracts, stats, and processes is no longer a competitive advantage The difference between information and discernment How top agents win by understanding people, not just data Why "good enough" agents are the most vulnerable in an AI world Trust, Purpose, and the New Agent Value Proposition Defining your role when consumers already have the answers Why agents must become guides, not order-takers The importance of emotional intelligence, intuition, and presence How trust is built through personalization, not speed alone Content, Branding & Being Found in an AI World Why agents must start writing content for both humans and AI The difference between SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Why upstream life events (death, divorce, debt, downsizing) matter more than listing searches How to position yourself as the authority AI pulls from—not just another result Efficiency vs. Experience: Choosing Your Lane Why the "middle ground" is the most dangerous place to operate The difference between budget efficiency and premium experience Why memorable, designed client experiences create defensibility How "unreasonable hospitality" becomes the ultimate moat AI as a Force Multiplier (Not a Crutch) Why AI should augment thinking—not replace discipline How tools like Zi.ai, Spark Pad, and Halo help agents scale wisdom Using AI to clarify niche, ICP, and proprietary processes faster than ever The danger of letting AI lead instead of using it intentionally Resources & Mentions Huzi.ai – Purpose-built AI for real estate professionals Spark Pad – AI workspace for clarity, messaging, and strategy Halo – AI visibility and monitoring across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and more CoachKitchens.ai – Custom AI tools built for Agent to CEO operators The Empty Room by Eric Post – Manifesto on wisdom, creativity, and AI Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara Rick Rubin – Creativity, taste, and intuition references Final Takeaway AI isn't replacing real estate agents—but it is replacing average ones. In a world where consumers have instant access to information, the agents who win are those who bring wisdom, clarity, trust, and experience to the table. Speed and efficiency are now table stakes. Differentiation comes from insight, personalization, and the ability to guide people through complex, emotional decisions. As Eric Post makes clear, the future belongs to those who design memorable experiences, understand the AI-powered consumer, and intentionally evolve from knowledge workers into true advisors. AI tools are already answering your customers' questions. The real question is, how do you ensure your business is part of those answers? In this episode, we sit down with Sergey Lucktinov, an AI search visibility expert who has spent more than a decade navigating algorithm shifts and rethinking how businesses get discovered online. Sergey breaks down how visibility works in the age of AI and what business owners need to do to make sure their brand is actually being mentioned, not silently skipped. We explore how AI has fundamentally changed SEO. The focus is no longer on keywords and backlinks alone, but on meaning, trust, and whether your content is eligible to be retrieved by AI systems in the first place. Sergey shares how years of surviving major search changes led him to develop Semantic Retrieval Optimization (SRO), a framework built specifically for how AI systems retrieve, evaluate, and surface content today. He explains how to format content so large language models (LLMs) can easily understand and reuse it, and why AI has quietly leveled the playing field, giving smaller companies new opportunities to compete with much larger brands in search. We also break down Semantic Entity Networks (SENs) and how they fit into modern on-page optimization, as well as the biggest mistakes and misconceptions businesses have about LLM optimization. If you want to understand how to increase your visibility in AI search, this episode is a must-listen. It is about embodiment. If you have ever felt yourself shrinking, softening your edges, or downplaying your success to stay comfortable or likable, this conversation will resonate deeply. Karen shares why wealth is a nervous system experience and how your identity determines how much visibility, income, and opportunity you can receive. Wealth Begins with Identity Many women were taught to associate wealth with fear, judgment, or being "too much." Over time, these beliefs become embodied patterns. You cannot expand into greater wealth while holding a contracted identity. Karen explains how your nervous system must feel safe with visibility, power, and higher prices before wealth can truly land. This work is not about forcing confidence. It is about expanding your capacity to receive. The Three Identities of a Rich Woman In this episode, Karen introduces three core identities that every wealthy woman embodies. These qualities already live inside you. The work is waking them up. She Is Visible She allows herself to be seen. Visibility is not a performance. It is her natural state. She Is Valued She knows her worth and charges accordingly. Her boundaries are loving, clear, and firm. She Is Vocal She uses her voice and shares her perspective, even when it feels uncomfortable or disruptive. How Rich Women Move Through Daily Life This identity shift shows up in small, powerful ways every day. Rich women: Respond instead of reacting Say no without guilt Receive compliments without deflection State their prices without shrinking Speak from truth, not fear Lead with calm authority instead of urgency This energy is steady, grounded, and sovereign. A Guided Embodiment Moment Toward the end of the episode, Karen guides you through a brief visualization to help you step into this identity now. You are invited to imagine how you move, speak, set boundaries, and trust yourself as the rich woman you are becoming. Your next level is not something you chase. It is something you embody. In This Episode, You'll Learn: Why wealth is a nervous system experience How identity impacts visibility and income The three identities of a rich woman How to stop shrinking and overexplaining What calm, grounded authority looks like How to embody wealth starting today Resources Mentioned In The Episode: Learn more about The Visibility Salon: https://visibilitysalon.com Catch the full Rich Woman Reset playlist: https://karenyankovich.com/richwomanreset Check out The Glow Up Audio Experience: https://www.KarenYankovich.com/glowup Help Us Spread The Word! Send us a textThe ground shifted for mid-career professionals in 2025, and many are still feeling the impact. Rolling layoffs became routine, job titles lost their signaling power, and working harder no longer translated into advancement. For professionals in the middle of their careers, the old rules stopped working, often without warning. In this episode, John Neral unpacks what actually changed in the job market and leadership landscape and outlines a clear, practical plan to help you reclaim control, confidence, and direction in 2026. If you have felt exhausted by a job search, sidelined by shifting responsibilities, or unsettled by the rise of AI, this conversation will help you move forward with clarity and intention.John begins by examining why organizational stability is no longer a reliable promise and why mid-career professionals must build stability as a personal system. You will learn how results-led resumes, a focused LinkedIn presence, intentional networking, and a personal board of directors create leverage in an uncertain market. From there, you will hear how to translate responsibilities into outcomes, make your thinking visible, and use leadership communication to earn meaningful opportunities instead of additional tasks. A simple value narrative framework is introduced to help you clearly articulate who you help, the problems you solve, and the outcomes you deliver so decision makers can quickly see your fit.John also addresses AI and its growing influence on careers. While AI can support research, drafts, and exploration, your real advantage remains human judgment, decision making, strategy, ethics, and relationships. Show NotesMusic careers are often discussed through the lens of performance, technology, or commercial success. Less visible is the connective tissue that sustains those careers: community, advocacy, and long-term support systems. In this episode of Music Evolves: Sonic Frontiers, the conversation centers on how structured networks and intentional recognition shape opportunity across the music industry.Laura Whitmore, Founder of The Women's International Music Network and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Positive Grid, shares how the organization was created to address a simple but persistent issue: women working across music often operate in parallel, rarely connected despite facing similar challenges. The network focuses on bridging that gap by creating shared spaces for visibility, mentorship, and collaboration across roles including artists, executives, engineers, marketers, and legal professionals.A central anchor of that effort is the She Rocks Awards, now in its fourteenth year. The awards, taking place during The NAMM Show 2026, highlight women contributing across all layers of the industry, not only those on stage. The emphasis is on storytelling and presence, giving space for honorees to speak openly about career paths, obstacles, and resilience. That visibility has a ripple effect, normalizing leadership diversity and encouraging others to see themselves as part of the industry's future. The discussion also addresses how technology fits into this ecosystem. From AI-assisted music tools to digital platforms that broaden access, innovation plays a role when it amplifies creativity rather than replacing it. The focus remains on preserving human expression while using technology to remove friction and expand reach.Another recurring theme is generational continuity. Younger creators and professionals bring new perspectives on consumption, creation, and community. Engaging them early, listening closely, and building inclusive pathways ensures the industry remains relevant and sustainable. This episode frames music not only as art or business, but as a shared cultural system. Networks like this one reinforce that progress does not happen automatically. It is built through intentional connection, recognition, and sustained effort.GuestLaura Whitmore, Founder of The Women's International Music Network and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Positive Grid | On LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurabwhitmore/HostSean Martin, Co-Founder at ITSPmagazine, Studio C60, and Host of Redefining CyberSecurity Podcast & Music Evolves Podcast | Website: https://www.seanmartin.com/ResourcesThe Women's International Music Network: https://thewimn.com/2026 She Rocks Awards: https://sherocksawards.com/The NAMM Show 2026 is taking place from January 20-24, 2026 | Anaheim Convention Center • Southern California — Coverage provided by ITSPmagazine — Follow our coverage: https://www.itspmagazine.com/cybersecurity-technology-society-events/the-namm-show-2026The NAMM Show 2026: https://www.namm.org/thenammshow/attendMusic Evolves: Sonic Frontiers Newsletter | https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/7290890771828719616/Keywordssean martin, laura whitmore, women's international music network, she rocks awards, positive grid, namm, music advocacy, music marketing, women in music, music leadership, music, creativity, art, artist, musician, music evolves, music podcast, music and technology podcastMore From Sean MartinMore from Music Evolves: https://www.seanmartin.com/music-evolves-podcastMusic Evolves on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnYu0psdcllTRJ5du7hFDXjiugu-uNPtWMusic Evolves: Sonic Frontiers Newsletter | https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/7290890771828719616/On Location with Sean and Marco: https://www.itspmagazine.com/on-locationITSPmagazine YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@itspmagazineBe sure to share and subscribe! Erik Dane on ALS, Disability Visibility, and Refusing to Give Up Erik Dane—forever remembered by many as “McSteamy” from Grey's Anatomy—has lived much of his career in the spotlight. From blockbuster films to hit television shows, and more recently capturing a new generation on Euphoria, his career has continued to evolve. But in April 2025, at the height of renewed success, Dane was diagnosed with ALS—a devastating disease with no cure. Now using a wheelchair, Erik Dane is still acting, still creating, and still showing up. He recently appeared on Brilliant Minds and participated in a powerful media panel discussing the role, disability visibility, and what it means to continue working in an industry that rarely makes space for visible illness. We bring you that panel—and the conversation it sparked. As we look ahead to the new year, Erik Dane's story is a profound reminder of two essential truths: nothing matters more than your health, and even when your body isn't cooperating, your dreams don't have to end.
In this episode of I'm an Artist, Not a Salesman, host Luis Guzman sits down with Richard Davis, a self-described Wall Street middleman whose story cuts far deeper than finance headlines and market chatter. What unfolds is a raw, layered conversation about ambition, identity, risk, loss, and the real cost of chasing success in high-stakes environments.Richard's journey begins far from trading floors and boardrooms. Raised in a working-class household in East Texas, he watched discipline, work ethic, and resilience shape his early mindset. Those lessons followed him through college, early business experiments, truck driving, and eventually into the world of stocks, investor relations, and public markets. His rise was not clean or predictable. It was earned through missteps, sharp turns, and moments that forced hard reflection. As the conversation deepens, Richard breaks down how financial literacy is rarely taught where it matters most, and why access, relationships, and visibility often outweigh raw intelligence. He shares how building platforms like Investors Voice and later FloorStocks came from recognizing gaps between retail investors, creators, and companies. The goal was never hype. It was connection, clarity, and transparency in a system that often avoids all three. The episode also explores the personal cost of rapid success. From becoming one of the youngest African Americans to take a company public, to navigating excess, ego, divorce, and a near-fatal wake-up call, Richard speaks candidly about what wealth exposes rather than fixes. Fatherhood, health, and purpose reshaped how he measures success today.Key themes and topics covered include:Building wealth from nontraditional pathsThe hidden mechanics of Wall Street and investor visibilityWhy relationships often matter more than credentialsThe difference between lifestyle wealth and lasting wealthMarket cycles, volatility, and today's investing climateLessons learned from failure, excess, and reinventionCreating platforms that humanize finance and leadershipRather than offering stock tips or shortcuts, this episode focuses on mindset, accountability, and long-term thinking. Richard challenges listeners to look beyond surface-level wins and ask deeper questions about why they want success, what they are willing to trade for it, and how they plan to sustain it once it arrives.Luis guides the conversation with curiosity and respect, allowing space for reflection without glamorizing the grind. The result is a grounded, honest discussion that speaks to entrepreneurs, creatives, investors, and anyone navigating ambition in an uncertain world. If this episode resonates, take a moment to support the show. Join us for an insightful conversation with KJ Blattenbauer, a powerhouse publicist with nearly 30 years of experience helping "underdogs" and bold brands secure the recognition they deserve. In this episode, KJ discusses how effective visibility is not about chasing a viral moment, but about establishing a consistent, recognizable position where the right people understand your expertise. She reveals that many entrepreneurs struggle with a lack of confidence that is actually rooted in confusion over their positioning; once that clarity is achieved, authority and opportunities naturally follow. Discover how to build authority by leveraging your existing proof—such as awards and past results—and accessing "borrowed platforms" like podcasts and guest teaching. KJ emphasizes that women must proactively share their accolades to avoid doing a disservice to those who need their products or services. To help you get started, she shares valuable resources from Hearsay PR including "Headline Your Life" to find your brand story, a "Pitch Kit" for media outreach, and "PR Before Payroll" for building authority without a large budget. For those looking for a modern guide to building lasting authority, keep an eye out for KJ's upcoming book, Pitchworthy, arriving in January 2026. We're in that strange, liminal week between Christmas and New Year. The turkey's been eaten, the presents have been opened, and there's this quiet space before the new year kicks off. It's a natural time for reflection as well as for looking ahead. I know many of you are ambitious and have big goals you want to achieve. But that kind of impact requires reach. Reach requires visibility. Visibility requires consistency. Consistency requires support. And sadly, so many entrepreneurs don't ask for help or support. If your business can't stay in business because you're exhausted, bottlenecked, or drowning in tasks... How much impact can you actually make? Not a lot, is the answer… And that is why I wanted to do this episode today – before we head into a fresh new year! Because most year-end reflection exercises completely miss this. They focus only on results – what worked, what didn't, revenue up or down, targets hit or missed. But that's only half the picture. The other half – the half that determines whether you'll still be doing this in five years or whether you'll burn out and walk away – is how you actually felt about it all. Whether you're building something sustainable. Whether you enjoyed the year or just survived it. So today, I'm sharing a really simple but powerful framework – so simple you can do it on the back of a paper napkin whilst lounging by the pool, but powerful enough that it might just change how you think about the year ahead. In this Kitchen Side episode of The Long Game Podcast, Alex Birkett and the team unpack a question that's coming up more and more: who actually “owns” being found in AI search—and what AI visibility means for modern marketing teams. They explore why the “AI is killing SEO” debate misses the point, and how AI search is collapsing traditional channel boundaries while changing how buyers discover brands. They also dig into what's actually being cannibalized (undifferentiated, consensus content), how teams should rethink success metrics as clicks get harder to track, and what the velocity vs. quality debate looks like now—especially as some teams bet on subject-matter depth while others bet on scaled output with AI-assisted production.Key TakeawaysAI isn't “killing SEO” so much as reducing the value of undifferentiated, consensus content that used to earn easy traffic.Losing traffic doesn't automatically mean losing business value—teams should validate impact through conversions, leads, and pipeline, not sessions alone.AI visibility is increasingly a composite outcome of everything a company publishes and does (content, comms, brand, product, reviews, community, and customer experience).Measurement is getting harder as discovery shifts to “dark” channels (e.g., AI tools) and attribution breaks—teams may need new proxies and self-reported attribution.“Listicles dominate AI citations” may be partly a prompt and sampling bias problem—inputs strongly shape outputs and visibility reporting can be manipulated. The hardest visibility problem is higher up the funnel: influencing problem-aware searches before buyers even know what category or solution to ask for.Content teams are splitting into different bets: deep, SME-led quality (often from people who've done the job) vs. high-velocity production supported by AI.A modern in-house writer role trends toward “jack of all trades” output (research, PR-like writing, CEO comms, etc.), using AI to lower marginal cost without collapsing quality control.Show LinksConnect with David Khim on LinkedIn and TwitterConnect with Alex Birkett on LinkedIn and TwitterConnect with Allie Decker on LinkedIn and TwitterConnect with Omniscient Digital on LinkedIn or TwitterWhat is Kitchen Side? One big benefit of running an agency or working at one is you get to see the “kitchen side” of many different businesses; their revenue, their operations, their automations, and their culture. You understand how things look from the inside and how that differs from the outside. You understand how the sausage is made.
