In Memory of Peggy Lipton (1946-2019). Jacoby knows about a secret first moon landing. Andy becomes a badass. We're still working on totally unfounded assumptions about the legality of prostitution in Canada, Hank's manslaughter charges remain unclear, and Doc Hayward is a CARDIOLOGIST now? Maybe Hank Jennings didn't actually do anything wrong...probably not. Unclear why Doc Hayward is here, but we're not complaining. We finally get some answers about how Flesh World magazine works and dive into a seven-layer analysis of Hawk's character.
We do a lot of impressions of the characters in this one, for some reason. Jacques Renault can't run that fast. A lengthy Google exploration into the difference between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter was cut out of the middle of this one. We briefly revisit our love of Doc Hayward, who is struggling with the concept of Diet Lasagna.
We discuss the Twin Peaks pilot, our love of Doc Hayward, and copyediting for Flesh World. Disclaimer: We super didn't know what we were doing with this first episode. We promise we'll eventually get better at this.

"The Path to the Black Lodge". Trevlig lyssning!
Hawk and Sheriff Truman add new evidence to Laura Palmer's case file for the first time in 25 years, Major Briggs is identified as the body in the Buckhorn morgue, Doc Hayward caught some trout, and everyone—inside the show and out—starts really coming to grips with the reality that the Cooper the're watching is not the Cooper they knew.
