There are a lot of places in America that are known for their corruption. New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia. Somehow, Minneapolis manages to avoid this connotation despite all of us knowing the truth. Here's a great example: the Feeding Our Future scandal. Bill Glahn is a member of the Center of the American Experiment and is one of few people out there willing to even talk about it. Kind of like the looming economic crash. Ask the official sources and there's nothing to worry about. Tom Wheelwright doesn't agree. He also doesn't agree that tax strategy can't be win-win. And no, the government is getting both wins for once. The Win-Win Wealth Strategy Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We’ve got a special guest this week: NY senator and presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand joins Girlboss Radio for a wide-ranging conversation with Girlboss COO Neha Gandhi. As a presidential candidate, Sen. Gillibrand has some sweeping political reforms on the table. For instance, she’s advocating for publicly funded elections as a way to get big corporate money out of politics, she’s pledged to not appoint judges who would help overturn Roe v. Wade, and she’s introduced a “Family Bill of Rights” to help families raising children. Tune in to hear how growing up in a family of female activists planted the seeds for Gillibrand’s political career, how Hillary Clinton inspired her, and why fundraising for politics—or a business venture—starts with how you frame the ask. Barbara Lewis wrote Joan’s Family Bill of Rights about her sister’s last days in the ICU. She focused on the hospital staff’s poor interaction with patients and family members. The document offers suggestions for improving patient satisfaction (www.JoansFamilyBillofRights.com). Examples: 1) Don't say, "I suck at IVs." 3. Before you raise the bed or begin a procedure, describe it to the patient, so there are no surprises. 6. Don’t dismiss the family’s involvement as meddling in your work. 8. Know that every word you say in the room, despite the appearance that the patient is sleeping, may be understood by the patient. Co-host Chris Jerry, www.emilyjerryfoundation.org.
