We open on a somber note with the recent discovery of a crashed 2005 red Jeep Wrangler off Highway 6 in Oregon's Tillamook area. Loggers/ODF personnel found the vehicle (linked to a September 2025 missing persons case out of Beaverton) along with skeletal remains believed to be those of Eddie Hair (Hare) and Scott Smith, both in their late 60s. Official identification is pending (dental records/personal effects), but the registration and circumstances point strongly to the two men who never returned from an outdoor/wheeling trip. We discuss the tragic accident angle, the "red Jeep curse" running joke since 2020, and some classic banter about James Dean and why red Jeeps seem to stick in people's memories. Marc Graveline is an aerodynamics consultant who works with WorldTour cycling teams as well as professional (e.g. Chelsea Sodaro, Lionel Sanders) and amateur triathletes, and road and gravel cyclists. He co-developed the Notio Konect, the first consumer on-bike aero sensor, and now develops his own device, the Gizmo. He also led the testing programme behind IRONMAN's decision to move the professional draft zone from 12 to 20 metres. We cover how to run an aero test you can actually trust, what to test and in what order, tyres and tyre pressure, and what IRONMAN's draft-zone testing actually found. HIGHLIGHTS AND KEY TOPICS: Why Marc disagrees with the idea that we have reached peak aero, and where he still sees the largest untapped gains across road racing, triathlon and gravel. Wind tunnel, velodrome or road: what each venue is good for, why he validates everything on the road, and where an age grouper without an unlimited budget should start. Randy Lewis, president of Gonzales Tire & Automotive, joins Johnny g & Friends to explain how his family grew one Louisiana tire shop into a four-location tire and automotive repair business without abandoning the customer-service principles that built its reputation.Founded by Randy's father, Roy Lewis, in 1966, Gonzales Tire began primarily as a tire, brake and chassis shop. Randy shares why opening a second location forced the company to expand into total car care, how he learned to delegate while managing multiple stores and why tire dealers must be willing to invest – and remain patient – to keep growing.The conversation also explores family-business succession, working alongside siblings, preparing the next generation and keeping workplace disagreements from affecting family relationships. Randy explains why personal vehicle walkarounds, direct conversations and earning a customer's trust remain essential, even as video inspections, AI and automation change the tire and auto repair industry.

Braised local beans with parma ham and spaghetti 1 stick celery, finely chopped 1 onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 25g butter 4 slices parma ham, shredded 1 tablespoon tomato puree 250g mixed beans ( runner beans and green beans) topped tail and cut into 2cm pieces 250g local tomatoes cut the same size or whole if cherry tomatoes 250ml stock 300g dried spaghetti 75g hard cheese like parmesan/ Cais na Tire/ pecorino Handful fresh basil, parsley or lovage, chopped 1 tablespoon of good olive oilCook the onion, garlic and celery in the butter in a pan over low heat – keep a lid on and give it a stir occasionally, for 15 minutes or until soft. Add the ham and cook for a couple of minutes. Mix in the tomato puree and add the beans, tomatoes and stock. Place the lid on and simmer for 10 minutes. Cook the spaghetti for 10 minutes and then drain and add to the braised beans. Mix in the cheese and herbs. Check seasoning and serve in bowls with a drizzle of the good oil.
