Le Liban de Mathieu [caption id="attachment_71192" align="aligncenter" width="768"] Entrée d'immeuble à Beyrouth - Crédits photo : Mathieu Debon de Beauregard [/caption] Après avoir passé des années à fréquenter des Libanais à Paris, Mathieu a récemment décidé de se rendre au Pays du Cèdre pour se faire sa propre idée. Entre octobre 2017 et avril 2018, il a effectué plusieurs séjours successifs au Liban. Il y a visité Beyrouth, Byblos, Batroun et Tripoli (au Nord), Saïda et Tyr (au Sud) mais aussi Baalbek dans la Bekka (vers la frontière syrienne), sans oublier les forêts de cèdres du Chouf et bien d’autres petits villages. Autour de délicieux mezze et de falafels, Il me raconte son dernier séjour d’avril dernier. Il en profite pour commander une Beirut beer, à défaut de prendre un verre d’arak et une chicha, comme on fait au Liban. Un fait marquant que l’on retrouve d’ailleurs dans le récent film « L’insulte » que Mathieu nous recommande. Et en parlant d’insulte, Mathieu nous partage quelques mots d’arabe qu’il a appris sur place, dont quelques insultes, abondamment utilisées par les Libanais !
