All Home Care Matters is honored to welcome Amit Shrivastava as guest to the show to discuss his new revolutionary platform for helping families find and hire caregivers. Amit is co-founder and CEO of GoInstaCare. Before starting GoInstaCare, he owned a successful Home Care Company in Chicago, which he and his wife started from scratch and made it extremely successful. Unfortunately, they had to sell their company because of their son's health as his body was not liking the cold and they moved to Austin, Texas a few years ago.
Today on ScaleUp Radio, we turn to the adult homecare market, particularly around franchising and I interview Amrit Dhaliwal who is the founder and CEO of Walfinch They provide care in the home to people that are homebound or certainly who need that extra help at home, mainly older people, but adults from the age of 18 upwards. Amrit is clearly really passionate about what he does. You really hear that coming through and listen out for a really neat test that they use to determine whether a prospective franchisee or indeed an employee of Walfinch is appropriate. Amrit started in 2019 and is now up to 27 franchisees across the UK, and he's on track for 40 by the end of this year, and as you'll hear, he's got great plans for the future. There's some discussion around the systems, the processes, the software, the technology that they use, but at the end of the day, it comes back to the people and Amrit majors on that. So it doesn't really matter what business that you are in, you are going to get a lot of value out of this discussion with Amrit. So let's go across and listen to his story.
