Okta shares were down Thursday morning, despite better-than-expected performance in the company's fiscal first-quarter earnings release. According to Motley fool analyst Jeremy Bowman, investors appeared to be disappointed by the company's bottom-line projection for the rest of the year. Besides, CFO Mike Kourey's exit may be another reason to affect the stock price. Okta reported another round of good growth in the fiscal quarter that ended April 30, with sales increasing by 37% to $251 million. However, its adjusted loss per share increased from $0.06 to $ 0.10 as it paid money to incorporate Auth0. This month saw the completion of the acquisition of Auth0. For the first time, Okta provided long-term revenue projection, predicting $4 billion in annual sales by fiscal 2026.
