Danielle and Christy snack and snark over the antics of Vincent Milano, and the 2 girls he's dating at the same time. Things take a dark turn though and we ourselves in the middle of a murder mystery. There is purple lipstick and questionable choices. Let's do it.
The Eufracio Bros. are back and this week they delve into the next movie in Stanley Kubrick's filmography, Killer's Kiss. This film was released in 1955 and it feels like it. The bros. discuss the movie and its nuances in greater detail. Enjoy!
On another special episode, Phillip starts the show by talking about what he has seen at home or in the theater; Beverly Hills Cop (1984), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Westworld (1973), Killer's Kiss (1955), Good Boys (2019), The Gentleman (2020), and Goldeneye (1995). Then he jumps right into, and goes deep on, You Only Live Twice from 1967. The fifth James Bond movie in the series. The plot is agent 007 and the Japanese Secret Service ninja force must find and stop the true culprit of a series of spacejackings before nuclear war is provoked. It is fun and full of action and has the largest set that I have ever seen. I hope you enjoy.
Eric & Jeremy talk about Stanley Kubrick's second feature-length film, 1955's "Killer's Kiss."

For Episode 101, I figured it was time to finally tackle another big-name director that's been highly requested and anticipated. The legendary and very influential Stanley Kubrick is discussed in epic proportions with a wonderful new addition to the Director's Club guest list. Al Kwiatkowski joins me as we attempt to dissect nearly all of Kubrick's work, realizing that he had to skip over a couple of his films in the interest of time and for the inevitable sequel episode in a year or so. Keep in mind that about five minutes into the 2001 discussion, something truly bizarre happened to the sound file that cannot be explained. I left a snippet of it in there for you to hear for yourselves followed by the re-recorded conversation that happened a couple days later. So without further ado, here is a truly special conversation for your listening pleasure. 00:00 - 04:36 - Introduction04:37 - 07:51 - Introduction With Al07:52 - 08:52 - Stanley Kubrick Song08:53 - 01:06:38 - 1st experience, Fear Desire, Killer's Kiss, Killing, Paths Of Glory01:06:39 -01:39:13 - Spartacus, Lolita, Dr. StrangeLove01:39:14 - 01:39:47 - Eyes Wide Shut Score Snippet01:39:48 - 02:46:22 - 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange02:46:23 - 03:29:23 - (Very Briefly) Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut03:29:24 - 03:36:26 - Our Top 3 Stanley Kubrick Films, OutroIn two weeks, the one and only George Miller, recently knighted by critics as one of the greatest action directors of all time, will be up for discussion alongside friend and film critic Collin Souter. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr Mark Rylance This week we give the "Film of the Week" a big old miss, and instead of covering Liam Neeson's latest outing we discuss action cinema's ageing heroes. We also have some action-packed news and in Off the Shelf we find out more about Kumiko: The Treasure Hunter, Traps, The Killing, Red River, Killer's Kiss and Isn't Anyone Alive?
Willkommen in unserem Podcast Stanley Kubrick! Laut schmatzend?
Bill and Renan consider Stanley Kubrick's Killer's Kiss (1955). Set in New York, it's the tale of a down-on-his-luck boxer, the fetching dancer who lives in the next building, her tough guy boss, and a mannequin factory whose owner is about to file a big insurance claim. Featuring William Beutler and Renan Borelli. (29:53)
After a couple week break from normal podcasting we return with a rusty yet enjoyable discussion of Stanley Kubrick's 1955 film noir Killer's Kiss. We also introduce a new segment "Soapbox" where we discuss an issue related to film or a film we are not discussing that is important to us. Enjoy!
Steve is impressed by the 'Life on Mars - Full motion-capture viewing experience with audio commentary' feature on Disney's Mars Needs Moms Blu-ray, and John finds the Conan the Barbarian remake to be one of the most trying theatrical experiences of the year. Fright Night and Attack the Block get the full review treatment. Plus the new Blu-ray releases of Top Gun and Stanley Kubrick's The Killing and The Killer's Kiss are discussed.
