We've been fortunate enough to spend time with Lee and Elaine Roy of the Roys. The brother and sister duo have come a long way in their recording careers. Since signing with Rural Rhythm Records, they released "Lonesome Whistle" last year, which debuted at number seven on Billboard's Bluegrass Albums Chart, and included the hits "Coal Minin' Man' and "Trailblazer." Their latest project is "New Day Dawning," and we had a chance to talk to them about that project which hits stores next week.

Bluegrass is a genre of music that holds tightly to its roots. While that might not sound like it would have much room for anything new in the way of music when you listen to new music like the CD, "Lonesome Whistle", from the Roys you would see that assumption would be completely and positively wrong. In this CyberCountry Minute Lance Yelvington talks to Elaine and Lee Roy about their new CD, bluegrass and the things that keeps them sounding great.
Lee and Elaine Roy have had a very busy last year. From their Compassion International trip to South America to new music and a new label home, the Roys are excited about their latest project ‘Lonesome Whistle.’ Kelly Lynn caught up with the siblings to talk about their new original music, which includes the first single ‘Coal Minin’ Man.’
