Hear ye, hear ye, I call to order this first meeting of the Can’t-Please-Everyone club. I move that tonight, we skip the reading of the roll and dive directly into past and present business. Any objections? On tonight's agenda… discussing that section of soap fandom who know exactly what they want for their couple — and only their couple — and won't be satisfied with anything less. Item 1: Folks who were unhappy that THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Lily and Cane — henceforth referred to as "Lane" — had no story and never left their house. Now, said fans are unhappy that the couple’s new careers are not what the had in mind for them and spend all their time at the Athletic Club. Item 2: Viewers who wanted DAYS OF OUR LIVES' EJ and Sami — henceforth referred to as “EJami" — who spent years lobbying for their favorite couple to be together… but aren't happy with his recent dalliance with Abby. Other unhappy factions include those supportive of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Brooke and Bill, and those who are unhappy with the recent revelation that GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Robin/Patrick will be torn apart by her latest exit. The floor will also be open to any and all comments regarding all things soapy.
