Attributes of Your Best Business Coach/Hiring a Business Coach While there are exceptions, Founders and CEOs of new businesses typically know about the industry-specific area of their business. But most lack knowledge about all of the business areas needed to run a successful enterprise. To make matters worse, “you don't know what you don't know”. Despite having a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing; working for a Fortune 500 company as an account manager for five years, and being a successful private-practice Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist for two decades, I was ill-equipped to pull off everything involved to launch a successful coaching and consulting business. From costly mistakes in selecting a business niche; not understanding the sales process; having no clue how to network; not understanding financials and how to manage the money aspect of my business; making poor hiring decisions; poor time-management skills; challenges delegating; and business model issues; my journey toward having a profitable business was much harder than it needed to be. And it wasn't that I tried to figure this out all alone. I invested a significant amount of cash and time in business coaching, mentors, consultants, and programs with mixed results. While I am a huge advocate for hiring a right-fit business coach, making the wrong choice on what professional to bring into your business can dangerously steer you in the wrong direction and even be the death knell on your business's survival. Let me help you avoid these devastating mistakes and get on the right course with hiring the right business coach for you. Handling Business Setbacks/Challenges Facing Small Business Enterprises Businesses improve society and our quality of life by solving important problems that people have effectively and efficiently. The daily life of a business owner is solving the problems of our clients and ourselves. Setbacks and challenges are an everyday reality for growing small business owners. When as the visionary in your company, you value growth in your personal and spiritual life as well as your profession, the interplay of all of those challenges can be complex. For over two decades, as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, I helped individuals navigate the normal challenges and setbacks in their healing and growth journeys in private practice. Working exclusively as a coach and consultant with business owners since 2017, I've developed proven techniques and strategies to turn setbacks and challenges into growth opportunities and catalysts to higher abundance, happiness, peace, and prosperity. As the CEO and Founder of Christian Biz Owners on Fire, we economically and emotionally empower faith-based and spiritual business owners to accomplish their unique God-given mission in fulfilling and prosperous businesses or ministries, where they put God, their relationships, and their purpose first daily. Manifesting Positively: Christ-centered Manifesting Many Christians hear the word, “manifesting” and associate it with the New Age movement. If you take your faith seriously, you should be leery of going down a potentially pagan path in the pursuit of fulfilling your deepest desires. But is it necessary to throw out popular tools that might help reach your Holy Spirit-inspired vision? Like many other concepts, “manifesting” was our thing first. The Incarnation was a manifestation. The Resurrection was a manifestation. These are things, created mentally, that came into being. “Manifesting” is referenced in scripture over 31 times. As the founder and CEO of Christian Biz Owners on Fire, I have made it my mission to emotionally and economically empower the faith-based and Christian visionaries to live their God-given purpose professionally and personally. I strive to empower and equip these business owners with the best tools and strategies possible while staying 100% faithful to God's commandments and his will. A tool in the wrong hands can do great damage. But it is possible to “manifest positivity” with a Christ-centered approach. Leisure Care: Healthy Leisure for Business Owners When you have a never-ending to-do list in your business and love what you do, taking time away for rest and downtime can get pushed to the side. But if you do that for too long, you can develop bad habits, and health problems, and block your ability to implement your vision creatively. As my own boss in various businesses for over thirty years, I know firsthand how your engine can get revved up and stay up without breaks for recreation and rest. I've seen the mental, emotional, and spiritual dangers of postponing a normal work routine until you get everything in place for a successful enterprise. I've witnessed many business owners who have come to me who have worked themselves past the burnout point. I've helped pull them out of the hole they've fallen into and taught them the tools and the mindset for a prosperous business or ministry and a rich personal life. I have made it my mission to figure out the secret sauce for having a thriving business without sacrificing what was most important to me. I experience joy in unlocking that mystery for other business owners, so they can prosper in integrity, as the CEO and Founder of Christian Biz Owners on Fire. I'm Christina Weber, and we run a company for faith-based and spiritual business owners who want a prosperous and fulfilling business or ministry while putting God, their purpose, and their relationships first on a daily basis. Business Challenges: Why Doesn't Your Business Work So it's a new year, and everyone is starting to come out of their holiday cave. You might have entered your hibernation period back at Halloween and are just now kicking on the steam engine after a hard stop. Or you might have just come off of a one to two-week break or no break at all. Everyone has a happy face and maybe a few extra pounds ready to dive into all of the New Year's resolutions, including your best year in business and life. But what if you fell short of hitting your goals last year? What if it feels like you backslide? What if life threw you a few curve balls you didn't see coming? What if, instead of feeling energized for the new year, you feel quite drained and kicked to the curve? What if behind the happy-face mask, you are asking, “Why isn't my business working?”? I've built my business on making lots of business and life mistakes and helping my clients avoid them. I've come through the fire, risen from the ashes, and have learned the art of taking that next step with the sincere belief that today is going to be better and the only way I fail is by giving up. I live in real-ville myself and with my clients. We don't pretend things are rosy during the times when they kind of stink. We don't worry about what others think, do, or say. We are honest about what is and isn't working, and we get down to making things better. We just keep walking on water towards Jesus, following the promptings of the Holy Spirit. And then it works. Keeping focused on your unique God-given mission during good times and bad helps you have a great tomorrow or the next 12 months no matter what the future holds. We took a little break, actually longer than I expected last year, from our weekly podcast. But we have a great year planned to support you to flourish in your business and thrive in your life. I'm Christina Weber, and we run a company for faith-based and spiritual business owners who want a prosperous and fulfilling business or ministry while putting God, their purpose, and their relationships first on a daily basis. The specific words, prayer, ritual, or method you use to access the Akashic Records are NOT as important as the frequency, energy, and state of being you're holding when you access them. Your frequency matters above ALL else, and it includes: the level of openness, curiosity, and beginner's mind you're bringing to your readings how grounded & anchored you are in your physical body when accessing the Records (i.e., not using the Records for spiritual bypassing or to "escape" reality) the level of safety you feel in your body and nervous system the beliefs and thoughts you're holding about yourself, about the Records, about the process of accessing them (especially beliefs having to do with your worthiness & ability to access them) your capacity to recognize and dissolve ego mind interference your level of emotional regulation & stability how much you're trusting yourself and the Records These are all essential components that make up your overall frequency. They determine how deeply, how powerfully, and how effectively you're accessing the Records -- and, consequently, what kind of healing you experience while you're there. This episode will support you with setting and holding a high-level frequency to POTENTLY access the Records and get the most from each journey there. One of the key ingredients that can "make or break" an Akashic Record reading is HOW you're formulating questions for the Records. There are some questions that can unlock potent healing, insights, and shifts when you're in the Records... ... and other questions that don't work as well, because: they aren't appropriate for the Records (such as "should/shouldn't" questions) they're too general/broad they stay only at a surface level of insight they lead you to a dead-end This is why the kinds of questions you're asking -- and how you're asking them -- are both really important. I created this episode because one of my students recently asked some awesome questions about what we can ask the Records. In addition to giving you specific examples of what you can ask the Records, I walk you through some guidelines for formulating effective, impactful, powerful questions for the Records so you can get the MOST out of every reading. This episode is also available as a VIDEO TRAINING, with visual aids!
