However, the plot thickens as Phyllis, known for her treacherous schemes, might ditch the Abbotts to pursue her own interests. Phyllis had earlier struck a deal with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to retrieve the AI from Victor on the condition that the Abbotts sign over Marchetti to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). However, she now seems to have ulterior motives for the AI, planning to use it against Victor to seize control of Newman Enterprises.  Y&R spoilers reveal Phyllis also attempts to ally with Cane Ashby, nicknamed Dumas (Billy Flynn). Although skeptical, Cane is intrigued by the prospect of running Newman Enterprises and is enticed by Phyllis's flattery and proposition. However, a shock awaits him when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) walks in on Phyllis kissing Cane. This unexpected turn of events could potentially disrupt their alliance, depending on Lily's reaction and Cane's response. Spoilers for Young and Restless suggest Phyllis's vendetta against Victor is no secret, and with this new plan, she might finally get the opportunity to deliver a crushing blow to Victor and Newman Enterprises. Although Billy and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are aware of Phyllis's unreliability, the prospect of Victor losing control might just be too satisfying to pass up.  More Young and Restless spoilers indicate the future seems uncertain for Victor Newman as he grapples with Nikki Newman's (Melody Thomas Scott) ultimatum and Phyllis's possible betrayal.
