Hey all! Sorry for the delays we've been having in updating episodes. We've had some real life stuff going on between new jobs, crashing computers, family things, etc. We lost a few of our episode recordings so there will be a few episodes recapped in character coming up that will catch y'all up on what is missed in the sessions. Technology! :) Thanks for sticking with us! We are really loving this story we're telling and hope you are enjoying it too!The peacekeepers have continued forward, leaving behind Harpy's Cove and continuing into the planes. Within a few days, the group encountered a very small griffin that seemed interested in the group. After some feeding, the griffin began to fly off before it was ambushed by a giant griffin. A quick fight had us dispatch the griffin, with the small one's parent flying in near the end to protect its child. Concluding our business, we continued on and got shit talked by some goblins and saw some ogres with a fancy shiny chest. While on the road, we met up with a traveling group of brothers leaving Rohind, who told us that the city has nothing but trouble...     Continuing forward, we saw a smoke stack in the distance. We arrived and helped a family fend off an orc attack, and they kindly repaid us with dinner and a good night's rest. The next day we set off, and after a few days we arrived at Rohind.... and it did not live up to expectations. We met with the head of the Knights who seemed extremely tired and busy and decided to take to an inn for the night. The end of session heralded the departure of Odalf, our dear and beloved friend as he traveled West to find an old friend to tell about what's happening in Rohind.As always, we'd like to thank the amazing artists who have let us use their music for Do We Level Up? Session began as we quickly decided that a talk with Lavinia couldn't possibly screw us over. With a promise that we'd be able to leave right after, we were escorted to her office. She told us that she was aware of the things we've done, but for our assistance we'd be free to continue on without tarnished names. Perhaps a little too hastily we agreed, telling her that she can contact us for help whenever as long as we got out. With that, the meeting came to a quick close as the Peacekeepers rode out of Sanlow, continuing their journey north to Rohind. A small trek in the desert marked the end of the abhorrent landscape as we moved into plains. We continued into a valley where we were attacked by savage vulture creatures known as harpies. Discovering an overturned wagon, it had seemed that a previous group had fallen victim to the harpies. We investigated and managed to find the whole group, injured but not dead. Taking some shinies along the way, we helped these folks set their wagon back up and gave them directions to Woodpine. Jest szczepionka na koronawirusa, za kilka tygodni rusza europejski program szczepień. Jednocześnie Europa szykuje się na kolejne uderzenie choroby. Maroko czwartym krajem arabskim, który w tym roku uznaje Izrael. W zamian Amerykanie uznają zwierzchnictwo Maroka nad Saharą Zachodnią. Trwa koszmar Rohindżów, muzułmańskiej mniejszości wygnanej przed trzema laty z Mjanmy. Przeniesieni przez władze Bangladeszu na wyspę na Oceanie Spokojnym cierpią prześladowania i poniżenie. Cypr zapowiada koniec programu tzw. złotych paszportów, czyli sprzedaży obywatelstwa temu kto da więcej. Czy rzeczywiście rosyjscy oligarchowie, albo skorumpowani Chińczycy nie będą mieli wstępu do Unii przez cypryjskie drzwi? Unia zapowiada surowe regulacje rynku cyfrowego. Na celowniku wielkie amerykańskie giganty takie jak Facebook czy Google. Co zrobią giganci internetowi zarabiający w Europie krocie?

Kā solījām, atkal runājam par valsti, kurā militāristiem ir pārāk liela politiskā nozīme. Dodamies uz Mjanmas Savienības Republiku. Starp citu, 1989. gadā tieši militārā hunta mainīja Birmas nosaukumu uz Mjanmu. Šādu nosaukuma maiņu atzina ANO, taču ASV un Apvienotā Karaliste joprojām valsti turpina dēvēt par Birmu. No vienas puses, pašā Mjanmā tiek lietotas abas formas – Birma ikdienā, Mjanma – oficiālajos dokumentos. Tas arvien ir diez gan politizēts jautājums. Valsts teritorijas ziņā ir aptuveni 10 reizes lielāka par Latviju un tajā dzīvo nepilni 55 miljoni cilvēku. No šiem iedzīvotājiem lielākā etniskā grupa ir bamari – aptuveni 68%. Un tad ir aptuveni 135 citas dažādas etniskās minoritātes. Pārliecinošs vairākums – gandrīz 90 procenti ir budisti, kamēr pārējie ir kristieši musulmaņi. Reliģijas nozīme, it sevišķi budistu un musulmaņu savstarpējās mijiedarbības jautājums ir bijis viens no noteicošajiem Mjanmas politikā pēdējās desmitgadēs. Uzskata, ka Mjanmas iekšienē notiekošie bruņotie konflikti turpinās jau kopš 1948. gada, kad valstij tika garantēta neatkarība no Britu impērijas, tādējādi padarot to par pasaulē ilgāko, joprojām notiekošo pilsoņu karu. Patiesībā tie pat ir vairāki nelieli pilsoņu kari, kuros dažādas etniskās grupas cīnās pret Mjanmas bruņotajiem spēkiem par pašnoteikšanos.  IKP uz vienu iedzīvotāju (pēc pirktspējas paritātes) Mjanmā ir nepilni 5 tūkstoši eiro, kas ir gandrīz reizes piecas mazāk nekā Latvijā. Bet vienlaicīgi valstī ir daudz dažādu dārgakmeņu atradņu, ir atrodama nafta, dabasgāze un citi minerāli, turklāt tiek uzskatīts, ka šajā valstī ir arī reģionā lielākais saules enerģijas potenciāls. Pat nabadzīgākajos ciematos gandrīz uz katras bambusa būdas jumta ir saules paneļi, jo tradicionālo elektrību vienkārši cilvēki nevar atļauties un tā arī ne visur ir pieejama. Pusi no valsts nacionālā kopprodukta veido lauksaimniecības preces un Mjanmā ir arī viena no lielākajām ekonomiskajām nevienlīdzībām pasaulē.  Spilgts piemērs ir stāsts par to, ka nelielu dzīvokli galvaspilsētā Jangonā var izīrēt par 250 dolāriem mēnesī. Vienlaicīgi var izīrēt arī bungalo – par 10 tūkstošiem dolāru mēnesī. Bet, piemēram, šūšanas fabrikās cilvēki vidēji pelna pa 3-4 eiro dienā. Tomēr mūsdienu Mjanmu nevarēs saprast, ja runā tikai par ekonomiskajiem izaicinājumiem, bet jārunā arī par budismu. Interesants ir fakts, ka katram vīrietim Mjanmā divreiz dzīvē būtu jākļūst par budistu mūku. Pirmo reizi mūka apģērbu vīrieši uzvelk vecumā no desmit līdz 20 gadiem, kad viņi kļūst par mācekļiem. Kad viņiem paliek 20 gadi, viņi jau uz klosteri dodas kā pilntiesīgi mūki. To uzskata par par lielu privilēģiju. Cik ilgu laiku pavadīt kā mūkam, tā ir katra paša vīrieša izvēle - dažas dienas, mēnešus, gadus vai visu dzīvi. Vidēji valstī ir pusmiljons mūku. Otra Mjanmai raksturīgā lieta pilnīgi neasociējas ar mieru sludinošo budismu. Tas ir radikālais budisms jeb budistu ekstrēmistiem. Budistu nacionālisms ir īpaši izteikts kļuvis pēdējo 10 gadu laikā, turklāt arī militārā vara ir kultivējusi šo Birmas budistu pārākumu, bet rohindžiem parasti tiek atvēlēta grēkāžu loma. Šis ir pasaules medijos visplašāk atspoguļotais Mjanmas konflikts – tā saucamais Rohindžu konflikts.  Komentāru par situāciju Mjanmā sniedz kanādiešu eksperte Kellija Flina, kura Mjanmā ir dzīvojusi un strādājusi vairāk nekā desmit gadus un arī aktīvi līdzdarbojusies dažādos miera veidošanas centienos šajā valstī.
