This week, Glenn and Amber sit down with Satch Bernhardt to get to the bottom of syndication. During his pursuit of financial freedom, Satch discovered just how far he could take real estate investing. He has not only elevated his own life but now helps other pilots do the same. In this episode, Satch shares what to expect with return on investment, his experience whoelsaling and how to push for more out of your life. Satch Bernhardt is a real estate investor and former airline pilot for a U.S. carrier. His airline flying career ended when his airline shut down in the middle of the pandemic in 2020. This was a turning point in his mission with real estate. He realized that job security does not exist. What does exist is financial security. Satch then started Bernhardt Capital to help pilots get on the flight path to financial freedom through real estate. Through Bernhardt Capital, pilots invest alongside him in large value-add multifamily deals across the sunbelt region. His goal is to help others generate enough cash flow to Live Life at Pilot's discretion!

This week, we return with a favorite topic among listeners of Trek Geeks: SEE-IT OR SKIP-IT! This time we'll focus on the much-maligned second season of Star Trek: The Next Generation and decide whether that season deserves the reputation it has. Starting with "The Child" and progressing all the way through the infamous "Shades of Gray," we'll tell you which episodes you should definitely see, and which ones you might be OK to just avoid entirely. We'll be joined by fellow podcaster and Camp Khitomer member Rick Tetrault from the Simply Syndicated network of podcasts! He'll be tasked with keeping us on track and keeping the peace as Bill and Dan go head-to-head on their episode picks. (Poor guy!) Plus, news on the DS9 Documentary and we'll discuss the new DS9 DVD box set in Episode 93 of Your Independent Star Trek Podcast! GREAT JOY AND GRATITUDE! We love FIVE YEAR MISSION and we can't thank them enough for allowing us to use their music on Trek Geeks each and every episode. We're huge fans and we hope you'll become one, too--they're writing and recording one original song for each episode of the classic Star Trek series from the 1960's. Warp on over to their website at FiveYearMission.net and check out each and every one of their incredible albums! You can hear them all: Year One, Year Two, Year Three, The Trouble with Tribbles, and of course, the amazing Spock's Brain! Plus, don't forget that they are working on Year Four right now!
