Dear Crime Family: It's BnB Friday!! And today is another one where we can't wait to tell you our customary two stories, to first touch your heart and then bring you survivors to be proud of and positive about. Bailey found a case that you've surely never heard of: This is the story of a family in the 1980's, who were traveling from California to Massachusetts, and only a fraction of the way home, the 19 year old son disappeared in Wyoming. What people abroad don't always understand is how vast the United States is. And somewhere in the nearly 3,000 mile drive from Huntington Beach, CA to Massachusetts, David Vernon Lovely simply disappeared, and no one would help his family look for him.And Beth is so excited to tell you about the story of two young, badass warriors from California who were individually victimized by a guy who literally had nothing left to lose. But these young women made the decision that the two of them, their sisterhood, was enough. They chose to get each other through their trauma. This case is an illustration of why caring for others is how we survive as individuals. At the start of this episode, we played the trailer for In the Nick of Crime. The cohostesses, Michelle and Courtney, are snarky, funny, kind-hearted, and are 100% in the corner of all victims. So we love them, and we think you will, too. Please check out In the Nick of Crime Podcast, wherever you listen to podcasts. We are so grateful that you have chosen to listen to us, and we thank you. Please grab a glass on your way in, and let's get to telling some stories about true crime. Love you guys!!. . . . .If you enjoy our show, please share our episodes on social media--that's the greatest way to help us find new listeners.Another way is to rate and review on Apple Podcasts or GoodPods, or give us a 5-star rating on whatever platform you prefer!https://linktr.ee/TrueCrimeBnB?utm_source=linktree_profile_share<sid=9e8aa538-d3ee-4823-b2e1-cb1625692e7aYou can find us on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook @TrueCrimeBnBYou can send us an email at TrueCrimeBnBPod@gmail.comAnd lastly, we would love and appreciate any amount of your support at Patreon, here:https://patreon.com/TrueCrimeBnB?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator
Of Course You Realize THIS Means Podcast - A Looney Tunes Discussion
On this week's podcast, I'm joined by a very good friend and talented freelance writer, Tamara Brooks to pose our opinions on the Friz Freleng's adaptions of Robert Louis Stevenson's sinister work; Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as Halloween Season winds down. And being big DC fans, we discuss the latest news regarding James Gunn and Peter Safran taking over lead roles at DC Studios for Warner Brothers! We also discuss the recent layoff at Cartoon Network as the Discovery/WB merger continues to take shape. News comes our way courtesy of Deadline; that James Gunn and Peter Safran will lead the DC film and tv division going forward for their superhero properties. I think this is a strong move in the right direction to correct the current trajectory the DCEU was on and with the stellar success of Black Adam it appears there is a lot of fans that want more from their beloved superheroes over there.
