Peter Greste spent more than a year locked up in a tiny concrete jail cell in Egypt. He’d been working as a journalist when he was arrested and wrongly convicted of terrorism charges. The foreign correspondent had spent years reporting in war zones, was shot at and even held his dying colleague in his arms, but it was the war on journalism that almost broke him. In this podcast Jeff discusses a moment he never dreamed would occur: Iran's nuclear facilities were destroyed by America and Iran is finally punished for its global terror. Every President from Carter through Biden looked the other way or appeased Iran's terrorism — Trump did not. Jeff eats some crow but points out the MAGA leading voices who sided with the Muslim terror state that tried to kill our President. And an update on Jeff's federal fraud sentencing before his fraternity brother. It was a hoot, it was surreal and it brought back a lot of memories.

This week Jeff opens with the long-awaited Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear infrastructure, a dazzling military operation years in the making. But instead of support for Israel, Jeff is stunned by the response: hatred not only from the far left but now pouring out of MAGA's biggest names. Yes, the Trump-right has joined Hamas and the progressive left in their obsessive Jew hatred, and Jeff is seething.Trump, meanwhile, couldn't resist taking credit for the Israeli success after the fact, even though he reportedly tried to block the strike for months. And if he actually helped, why didn't he greenlight American B-52s to finish the job on the underground nuke sites? Why is he trying to make a huge deal when the world's biggest sponsor of terror is on its knees? Also this week: a tale of how a young lawyer buying his first suits comes full circle 30 years later, this time as a man paying cash with 44 tailored suits under his belt. Plus, Jeff faces a federal judge he went to college with and admits, despite all of his own accomplishments, the judge is the better man.As always, Jeff pulls no punches. Not for MAGA. Not for Trump. Not for the far left. And certainly not for anyone siding with the world's worst terror regime.

Today Nancy Grace and Sheryl McCollum dissect the incredible testimony of Cassie Ventura in the case of Sean Diddy Combs. The duo take listeners inside the courtroom, explaining how victim testimony works and why it’s so hard for prosecutors to prove abuse - especially when power, money, and influence are at play. Sheryl explains why Cassie Ventura’s hotel video is a “money tree” for the case - legal gold when it comes to proving the power dynamics and abuse. They explain what happens when a victim has to live under the intense control of an abusive partner - and how that control becomes a tumultuous abuse cycle. Nancy shares her own experience of this power play in the legal system to give the example of how a person in the situation of a power play has to weigh the choices of exposure. Hate American Made ////// The Soldier Part 5 of 6 www.TrueCrimeGarage.com Timothy James McVeigh was a decorated American Soldier who served during Operation Desert Storm. After the war McVeigh had difficulties finding a new path for himself. Ultimately, he became enraged against the government that his soldier duties once served. He believed and told others that the U.S. government was in the process of taking away the freedoms of its citizens. Then Ruby Ridge happened and when the Waco standoff was in its early stages he was present, even giving an interview to a local reporter. These events were “proof” to McVeigh that he was right. All of his fears were coming true. Timothy McVeigh became America's worst homegrown terrorist when he blew up the Alfred P. Murrah building in downtown Oklahoma City. What meaning did the Oklahoma City Bombing hold for Timothy McVeigh and beyond? Was it revenge? Was it the first act of a revolution? Was it a going away present for Richard Snell? In this episode, Jeff analyzes President Trump's handling of negotiations with Iran and its terror proxies, as well as America's jihadist universities, and demonstrates that the desire for the bestest of deals doesn't always end with good results for America and its allies. America needs a strong ideologue in place during these difficult times and not a used car salesman. The new four episode Max docuseries about the Sinaloa Cartel is out and you've got a review from the one person who actually knows the truth — Jeff — and he points out the obviously fabrications contained therein. Nancy Grace and Sheryl McCollum discuss the latest on Rex Heuermann and Lori Vallow’s Cases. Sheryl gives a live check-in from the Hamptons, where she describes the quiet tension in a neighborhood trying to move on. She talks about Rex Heuermann’s house, now partially hidden as the family packs up and prepares to leave. Nancy and Sheryl question what this means, if it’s the first step toward tearing the house down, and why that could be a big problem for the trial. They stress how important it is for jurors to see the space where the crimes happened to fully understand the case. Nancy shifts to the latest on Lori Vallow. Representing herself, Lori is facing charges for the murders of her children and her former husband. Nancy and Sheryl walk through the case and how Lori’s strange behavior and beliefs played a role in the crimes. This is a three-part podcast series dedicated to understanding how serial killers form, and how we can stop them before they strike again. Hosted by award-winning crime scene investigator Sheryl McCollum, each episode features a guest expert who brings unique expertise into the psychology, behavior, and patterns of serial offenders. In this episode of Zone 7, Crime Scene Investigator, Sheryl McCollum, sits down with Phil Chalmers, a seasoned criminal profiler whose life’s work has taken him face-to-face with some of the most notorious killers in American history. Phil shares what it’s really like to sit across from people like Charles Manson and David Berkowitz, known as the Son of Sam. Today, Sheryl and Phil go deeper than infamous names; it’s about understanding why people kill. Phil breaks down the roots of violent behavior, pointing to patterns like fatherlessness, childhood trauma, and relentless bullying. He also challenges long-held assumptions about what a serial killer looks like, arguing that the modern offender is often far from the stereotypical white male. Today Nancy Grace and Sheryl McCollum break down how small forensic details like a balaclava, a knife sheath, and an Amazon purchase, can construct a damning mosaic of guilt. Sheryl emphasizes the importance of visual testimony and the nuanced strategies prosecutors must deploy when sequencing their witnesses. Nancy and Sheryl draw parallels from cases like Casey Anthony, Ted Bundy, and Lori Vallow, showing how digital footprints, careless mistakes, and chilling premeditation can expose even the most calculated crimes. Lastly, the two probe how character witnesses, or the lack thereof, may influence the perception of innocence or guilt. Show Notes: (0:00) Welcome!
