This week’s episode features not two, but three conservative firebrands who take an aggressive approach to getting their message out. My first guest is Kyle Reyes, who founded Whiskey Patriots and serves as the spokesman for Law Enforcement Today. I first came across Kyle in 2018 when I wrote about his high school alma mater refusing to let him speak at a dedication ceremony for a new memorial at the school, for the sin of being conservative. Kyle has a large national following, and the school squandered an opportunity for wide positive news coverage, because the students supposedly would be afraid of the mere presence of a conservative. Kyle and I talk about the current state of affairs in our country, what the organized Left is doing to undermine our society, and the lies that propel the movement to tear down America. Kyle also recorded a bonus segment exclusively for our Patreon patrons. He gives us even more conservative red meat, expanding on the theme of electing more people at all levels of government who still believe in our core constitutional beliefs. Subscribers get access to this kind of exclusive material and many other features. Check it out at patreon.com/BehindTheCurtainWithJeffReynolds. My second, Oregon centered segment this week is a bit of a departure. Yesterday I released a bonus episode with an interview with Kim Sordyl, talking about the Oregon Secretary of State’s office. If you missed it, you really should check it out. Anyway, I have two guests this week who are allies of Kim’s. My original intent with this episode was to have a roundtable discussion with two prominent gay conservatives in Oregon, Jonathan Lockwood and Ben West. Well, as John Lennon put it, life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans, and the discussion idea fell through due to scheduling problems. I recorded separate segments with Jonathan and Ben, with the idea of talking to them about being gay and conservative in Oregon, and what they face from the left and the right while taking that position. These were two fascinating conversations. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Behind the Curtain podcast wherever you listen to it, and please leave a positive rating. The more subscribers and the better ratings, the higher Behind the Curtain will rank on podcast services like iTunes and Google Podcasts, among MANY OTHERS. I’m happy to report that my book continues to generate buzz. It’s called Behind the Curtain: Inside the Network of Progressive Billionaires and their Campaign to Undermine Democracy. This weekend, I will be signing copies and hosting a cigar happy hour at the Dorchester Conference, which is being held in Welches, Oregon this year. Search for it in stores, or online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Simon and Schuster. It’s available in hardback, Kindle, or Nook Now. Why Woman Thrive in Startups & Betting on the American Dream: Could the female brain be hardwired for entrepreneurship? An innate ability to multitask coupled with a 'horizontal' thinking process give women a distinct advantage when it comes to business startups and savvy investing according to Structure Capital Managing Partner, Jillian Manus. We explore the strengths of women in corporate America before learning Jillian's top two tools for career success: never get emotional and fortify your confidence. Then, after pledging $250,000 worth of marketing and media production services to help tell the stories of first responders and veterans, The Silent Partner Marketing agency came under fire online from people with opposing political views. “I believe that you can never go wrong on doubling down on patriotism and supporting the men and women who serve and protect our communities and our country, but other people believe differently than us,” says President and CEO, Kyle Reyes. Unfettered by negative feedback, Kyle stuck to his patriotic principles and upped the ante, raising his pledge to $1,000,000 in services. Kyle discusses this pivotal decision and shares exciting details of several projects in the pipeline: The Whiskey Patriots, a new startup dedicated to the values of our founding fathers; Operation Innocence, a nationwide task force to put an end to school shootings; and ‘The Real Man Show’, an action packed television series resurrecting the art of manliness. Coach JC is joined by The Great American Patriot, Kyle Reyes. Kyle S. Reyes. Kyle is co-host of The Whiskey Patriots and the Chief Executive Officer of The Silent Partner Marketing. Reyes is also an acclaimed keynote speaker on entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing and social media. His agency launched a campaign to donate $250,000 in services to police departments to help tell their stories. The first video blew up....more than 3 million views in a few days...and we got the chiefs on Fox and Friends. What happened next? Internet trolls attacked us and called for a boycott of our company for supporting "pigs and killers". So what did WE do? Doubled the donation, expanded it to all first responders and veterans and told these SJW's to kiss our American asses.
