In this edition of Japan vs. Trendzil, Miles and special guest co-host Pallavi Gunalan discuss their respective weekends, the start of 'Celebrate 250' and how everybody's feeling about the American dream, the Supreme Court pretending to rule on stuff, Texas' mandatory reading list (feat. The Bible), Noah Kahan's 'Poopgate' controversy, views from the Great American State Fair, the disappointing release of 'Supergirl' and much more!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It's Fun Day Monday on The Majority Report On today's program: ABC's Jonathan Karl tells Mayor Zohran Mamdani that the Republicans will make him the face of the Democratic party to which Mamdani responds with, "let them". The mayor then lists all of the accomplishments of his administration - a list that would be impressive for an entire term, let alone in just under 7 months in office. Jen Psaki asks Rep. AOC to respond to Sen. Elissa Slotkin's call for the need for change in Democratic leadership. Cortez says that if elected officials are going to call for change, then they need to elaborate on what kind of change they're talking about. Do you want the party to be abashedly working class or do you want to deepen the ties between he parties and its corporate donors. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson holds a press conference where he reads the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America. Speaker Johnson fails at fear mongering as the platform sounds reasonable and includes some ideas that even conservatives would agree with. We are joined by Sufia Khalid, deputy director of the National Security Criminal Defense Center at the Muslim Legal Fund of America and an attorney for one of the Prairieland Nine—a group of anti-ICE protesters in Texas who were sentenced to 30 to 100 years in prison after federal prosecutors accused them of being an "antifa terror cell." Chris Geidner, journalist and publisher of the Law Dork newsletter, joins the program to discuss the past week's Supreme Court rulings. In the Fun Half: If one throws a Great American 250 State Fair in the Mall of DC but no one is around to see it, did it really happen? Fox News says that thousands of people are participating but unfortunately the camera shows that there aren't even hundreds of people at the fair. Meanwhile down the street from the fair at the reflecting pool the National Guard is patrolling for loiters as a recorded announcement warns people to keep it moving. Rep. Thomas Massie is stopped on the street by a Fox digital reporter and asked about some of his scandals to which Massie responds by calling the reporter gay. Senator Ted Cruz says that antisemitism is a gateway drug to anticapitalism. Renowned idiot Dave Smith blames the Iran war's historic unpopularity for the rise in socialism. All that and more. Lyndon B. Johnson entered office with an ambitious plan to expand the scope of government. Dubbed “The Great Society,” his efforts to transform domestic policy were stalled in part by his party’s opposition to America’s mounting commitments in Southeast Asia. While Richard Nixon achieved important diplomatic victories in Vietnam and China, the American economy suffered from low growth and inflation. What if the biggest story in America isn't politics at all?In this episode of The Right Side: After watching the massive UFC event associated with President Trump, Doug Billings realized the real story wasn't the fights, the celebrities, or even Trump himself. The story was the crowd. Why do America's media elites, Hollywood elites, and political elites seem perpetually shocked by election results, cultural trends, and the values of ordinary Americans?Doug explores the growing disconnect between the people who shape America's culture and the people who actually live in America.Drawing on his experiences growing up in Kansas City, years in education, and conversations with thousands of listeners across the country, Doug explains why millions of Americans are rediscovering confidence in their own values, their own observations, and their own common sense. This isn't really a story about UFC.It's a story about family, faith, patriotism, personal responsibility, culture, and why ordinary Americans are no longer willing to let elites define reality for them.Topics include:• The cultural significance of Trump's UFC event• Why media elites keep misreading America• The disconnect between Hollywood and Main Street• Family, faith, and traditional American values• Why ordinary Americans are pushing back• The Great American Pushback and the future of the RepublicThe story isn't politics. On June 4, Reps. Jay Obernolte (R-Calif.) and Lori Trahan (D-Mass.) released a 269-page bipartisan discussion draft of a bill called the Great American Artificial Intelligence Act of 2026. On the same date, they published an opinion in Bloomberg Law calling for feedback on the draft. “This discussion draft isn't a final product,” they wrote. “It's the start of a serious national conversation with workers, researchers, startups, frontier labs, educators, civil society, state leaders, and the American people.” Rep. Trahan joined the podcast to discuss the draft and some of the early criticism levied against it from civil society groups.

Stealing land is an American tradition, but these days it isn't just the buffalo being driven off a cliff; it's everyone. Data centers have sprouted into existence across the country, against the will of the people, draining energy and water resources from the local communities. Meanwhile, Bill Gates is systematically acquiring farmland at a record pace, while his investments in synthetic meats go belly up. ICE was also building two dozen detention facilities across the country into its own version of FEMA Camps. It appears that Big Tech and The State are in an active war against the American people, and trying to destroy their land in the process.---Macroaggressionswww.Macroaggressions.ioMerch StoreLink Tree ---Video ChannelsRumble | YouTube | Brighteon---Activist PostNewsletter Sign Up---AudiobooksHypocrazyThe Octopus of Global Control---Support Our SponsorsReplace Your Mortgage: www.WipeOutYourMortgageNow.comGround Luxe Grounding MatsC60 Power | Promo Code: MACROChemical Free Body | Promo Code: MACROWise Wolf Gold & SilverLegalShield: www.DontGetPushedAround.comChristian Yordanov's Health ProgramThe Dollar VigilanteNesa's Hemp | Promo Code: MACROAugason Farms

Jody Hamilton takes the reins as Stephanie enjoys a well-deserved break. Joined by the insightful Mike Nellis and the ever-charismatic Charlie Pierce, the gang discusses the chaos around Trump's Great American State Fair, which has become a spectacle as performers drop out faster than you can say "MAGA." They talk about the stupidity of the situation, including the unlikely survival of Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida amidst a lineup that seems to be unraveling. The conversation shifts to the critical importance of voting, as election day looms in multiple states, and the group shares their thoughts on California's ballot initiatives and the sheer number of candidates vying for office. They also tackles the alarming rise of AI in politics and the implications of misinformation campaigns in light of recent political races. John this time talks about the GOP divorcing themselves from Trump's $1.8 billion Cop-Beater slush fund after a federal judge stopped it dead in it's tracks. And, he talks about the many artists running for the hills saying they want no part of Trump's Great American State Fair political rally. Then, he interviews Tennessee State Senator Charlane Oliver. On May 7th, she disrupted a special session of the Tennessee legislature held to redraw the congressional map in the wake of a recent Supreme Court decision. She stood on her desk, unfurled a banner with the text "Jim Crow 2.0" and "Stop the TN Steal", and sang the hymn "Lift Every Voice and Sing". The State senate speaker blocked Oliver from voting on the map. Next, John speaks with independent journalist Marisa Kabas. She has been one of the journalists thankfully glued to ICE and DHS as it sows chaos and violence at the Delaney Hall detention center in New Jersey. And last but not least, comedian Rhonda Hansome jokes with listeners about Trump's crumbling world.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Duffy has told interviewers that "To love America is to see America," so he's packed up the family SUV and hit the road. This being the Trump administration, the trip isn't just an exercise in patriotism but a giant conflict of interest packaged as a reality TV show. Reporter Henry Burke—a senior researcher at the Revolving Door Project—breaks down the many questionable and outright shady details behind Sean Duffy's trip across the country, from the opaque non-profit organizing it to the many transportation-related companies footing the bill.
