All vespers services mark the beginning of the new day (there was evening, there was morning, the first day) & so in this service we transition from Sabbath to The Lord's Day. However, we're still in this accelerated timeline of Holy Week & so we cannot yet fully proclaim Christ is Risen. Yet, in the middle of this service we do transition from the darkness of Holy Week into the white of purity & resurrection & we proclaim who The Messiah is & what it is He saves us from & what it is He saves us for.The Christian Saints Podcast is a joint production of Generative sounds & Paradosis Pavilion. The world appears unhinged. What’s wrong? What’s the problem? Violence, corruption, racism, disease, and more… But what’s the cause? Why? The Bible has an answer. It’s an explanation that, though often resisted or scorned, when accepted makes sense of a beautiful world gone terribly wrong.
Sex, Conflict, Counseling, Men & Women’s Roles in Marriage… There are so many topics that seem to just be “off-limits” in the Christian community at large… Why? The Bible openly and clearly talks about these things. Now more than ever we need a clear Kingdom perspective for our marriages. You don’t want to miss this episode of Eagle Mountain Radio where we spend the time to unpack some of the off-limits topics for marriages today. I firmly believe that if we had a time machine and went back to the first Christian churches of the book of Acts, it would look very similar to a Baptist church. Why? The Bible reveals a church that functioned much like a Baptist church does today. In this study, I will use Acts 2:38-48 and the acronym B.A.P.T.I.S.T.S to reveal how Baptist churches historically have based their church structure on the Bible alone.
