www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcastTwenty-five years later, The Conspiracy Podcast is finally tackling it. "9/11: Unanswered" kicks off with the day itself — minute by minute, four flights, one morning that changed everything. It starts like any other Tuesday. Nineteen men move through four different airports — Portland, Boston, Newark, Washington Dulles — carrying box cutters and knives with blades under four inches, which was perfectly legal at the time. Ten of them get flagged by CAPPS, the era's passenger screening system, before they even board. Flagged, and let through anyway. Hosts Eric , Sean and Jorge pull apart exactly how that happened, working straight from the 9/11 Commission Report to keep the timeline accurate rather than relying on secondhand retellings. From there it's real time. Flight attendants Betty Ong and Amy Sweeney calling it in from the air as it's happening. Daniel Lewin, a former Israeli special forces officer, trying to stop his own hijacker before anyone on the ground even knows what's unfolding. The first plane hits the North Tower and the world assumes it's an accident — until the second one hits live on television, and there's no more room for that assumption. Then the Pentagon. Then United 93, where the passengers find out, mid-flight, exactly what happened to the other three planes and make a decision most of them never get the chance to think twice about. The episode also follows President Bush's morning at a Florida elementary school — the seven minutes in that classroom people are still arguing about twenty-five years later — through Air Force One and into the address that ended up shaping the next two decades of American foreign policy. This one ran long. Long enough that the hosts split it into two parts rather than cut corners on any of it. Part 2 picks up exactly where this one leaves off. Later episodes in the series get into what's still unresolved after twenty-five years — the Commission's own gaps, the disputed collapse of Building 7, and the questions around the Pentagon that never fully went away.New episodes of "9/11: Unanswered" drop every Tuesday through September 28th. Patreon members get early access to every episode in the series plus the full, extended After Hours cut. www.patreon.com/theconspiracypodcast

But between fundraising prowess and narrative shaping and attention driving, he's doing a better job of it than just about anyone else in the Democratic Party. In this episode, Matt and Brian discuss: * The Natalie Harp ploy, and how Ossoff yoked national attention to Donald Trump's broader degeneracy;* Whether Ossoff provides (finally!) a template for the moderates-who-fight synthesis we've been promised;* Unanswered questions about how much of this glow up is luck, and whether Ossoff's actual record will hold up in a presidential primary, if he run and has a left-wing opponent. Then, Democratic Party officialdom has pulled back together pretty well after bruising primaries in Michigan and Wisconsin. But on the fringes, influential progressives and moderates continue to take potshots at the nominees they were hoping to beat: progressives at David Crowley in Wisconsin; moderates at Abdul el-Sayed in Michigan. What are they thinking? Could Bernie Sanders and AOC tamp down the cheap-seat heckling from the left? Could Chuck Schumer snuff out big-money anti-el-Sayed activism in the center? And where will moderate, pro-Israel Jewish voters take their political resources if they leave the Democratic Party, but have no home in the increasingly Groyperified GOP. Welcome to episode 258 of Grasp the Bible. In this episode, we will examine faith in the fire — what Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego teach us about trusting God when deliverance is not guaranteed, and obedience may cost everything. Key takeaways: The furnace did not create the faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego — it revealed it. Crisis does not build character; it exposes what is already there. You do not develop convictions in the crisis. You discover in the crisis what convictions you have already developed. Their response showed no panic, no search for loopholes, no deliberation. Just calm, settled resolve. Why? Because they had already decided — long before the furnace — that they would worship Yahweh alone regardless of consequences. The heat of the moment is the worst time to figure out what you believe. They distinguished clearly between God's ability and God's will. “The God we serve is able to deliver us” — no doubt about His power. “But even if He does not” — full submission to His will. Mature faith trusts God's character when it cannot understand His plan. Immature faith says, “I will trust God if He does what I want.” Mature faith says, “I will trust God whether or not He does what I want.” Their obedience was not contingent on deliverance. They were not negotiating. They were declaring. God's love is not measured by whether He gives us what we ask for. It is demonstrated by what He has already done in Christ. Unanswered prayer is not evidence of God's absence — it may be evidence that He is accomplishing purposes beyond what we can see. Their faithfulness was not contingent on rescue — and rescue came because of their faithfulness. They did not know they would be delivered when they took their stand. They were prepared to die. Faithfulness means doing right because it is right, regardless of outcome. We are outcome-oriented people who measure faithfulness by results. The three Hebrews define faithfulness differently: obedience to God's commands regardless of consequences. Redefine success as faithfulness, not outcomes. Quotable: The furnace question is not “Will God deliver me?” It is “Will I worship Him even if He doesn't?” Faith in the fire is not about demanding rescue — it is about trusting the God who is worthy of worship whether the answer is yes or no. Application: Settle your convictions before the crisis arrives. The time to decide what you believe about Christ's lordship, the authority of Scripture, and the non-negotiables of obedience is now — not when you are standing in front of the furnace. Will you compromise biblical truth to keep your job? Deny Christ to preserve a relationship? Conform to cultural pressure to avoid social cost? Decide now. When the pressure comes, your conviction will produce courage — or your lack of it will produce compromise. Stop demanding that God prove His love through favorable outcomes. “If God really loved me, He would heal this, fix that, give me this.” The three Hebrews destroy that theology. The cross already proved God's love. You do not need rescue to confirm what Calvary already demonstrated. When you face unanswered prayer, resist the conclusion that God is absent or indifferent. Trust His character when you cannot understand His ways. Redefine faithfulness as obedience, not outcomes. What would it look like to keep worshiping, keep obeying, keep trusting if God never answers your prayer the way you want? If the prodigal does not come home? If the health does not improve? If the ministry does not grow? The measure of your faith is not what God does in response — it is what you do regardless. Obey today whether tomorrow brings rescue or not. Learn the difference between God's ability and God's will — and submit to both. Confidence in God's power and submission to God's plan are not in tension — they are the two halves of mature faith. Pray boldly for deliverance. Believe He is able. Then hold the outcome loosely. He may be more concerned with your holiness than your comfort, and more interested in writing a story bigger than your rescue. Where have you placed your hope? When life doesn't unfold the way we expected, it's easy to believe that nothing will ever change. Unanswered prayers, difficult diagnoses, broken relationships, grief, anxiety, and seasons of waiting can quietly rob us of hope. But what if biblical hope isn't rooted in changing circumstances—but in the unchanging character of God? In this episode of Monday Mindset Reset, Dr. Denise Pass explores one of the greatest mindset battles we face: believing our circumstances determine whether we have reason to hope. Through Romans 15:13, Psalm 27:13–14, Romans 8, Hebrews 6:19, and Revelation 21, you'll discover that biblical hope is far more than wishful thinking—it's the confident expectation that God will fulfill every promise He has made. More than positive thinking, Christian hope is eschatological hope—a hope anchored in the certainty of Christ's return, the resurrection of believers, and the promise of a new heaven and new earth where God will dwell with His people forever. Because we know how the story ends, we can live with confidence today. In this episode, you'll discover: Why biblical hope is different from wishful thinking. How to find hope in seasons of waiting, grief, anxiety, and suffering. Why your circumstances don't have the final word. How the certainty of Christ's return transforms the way you live today. Why Revelation is not merely a book about the future, but a book that fuels hope in the present. A practical mindset reset to help anchor your hope in God's character instead of changing circumstances. This Week's Mindset Reset: Whenever discouragement whispers, "Nothing will ever change," pause and ask: "What am I hoping in?" Then shift your eyes from your circumstances to God's promises. Hope isn't confidence that everything will work out the way you planned—it's confidence that God's eternal plan will prevail. Because hope is not rooted in what we see today; it is anchored in the God who has already secured tomorrow. Key Scriptures: Romans 15:13; Psalm 27:13–14; Romans 8:18–25; Hebrews 6:19; Revelation 21:1–5 If today's episode encouraged you, I'd love for you to subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with someone who needs hope today. Every review and share helps more people discover the hope that comes from renewing their minds with God's Word. Connect with Dr. Denise Pass:

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Three active cases, thirty questions from the audience, and nobody pulling punches. The Lindsay Clancy trial put Patrick Clancy on the stand for two days, played his 911 call to a jury that could barely hold together, and showed prescription bottles that challenge the overmedication defense. The Nolan Wells investigation has two autopsies, no cause of death, a sealed state report, and a girl whose family's account of his last hours contradicts his friends' story. The d4vd hearing put a nineteen-million-dollar motive on the record, showed bodycam of a lie told to a deputy over a year before the killing, and laid out a timeline of evidence purchases that reads like premeditation on a credit card statement.Tony answers all thirty. The evidence. The contradictions. The system failures. The questions nobody in any of these cases seems willing to answer.End Links:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Riley responds to newly released diary excerpts attributed to Dr. Anthony Fauci and the larger questions they raise about COVID-era decision-making. She walks through claims about private comments versus public messaging, including school closures, lockdowns, case fatality estimates, natural immunity, masks, vaccines, and the origins of the virus. She also argues that the public health response caused lasting damage to trust, especially among younger parents now questioning what they were told during the pandemic. The episode also covers Fauci's media attention, celebrity status, congressional testimony, and why Riley believes Americans still deserve accountability for the decisions that shaped their lives, jobs, schools, families, and freedoms. Unanswered & delayed prayers (themes in Ruth) - Neil Douglas by Christ City Church Dublin
Have you ever felt like something was working against you, keeping you stuck, quiet, and afraid to move forward, no matter how many times you tried? That was me for years. In this episode, I'm opening up about the lies I believed and the enemy's strategy that kept me stopped in my calling for so long. Unanswered prayers. Discouragement after doing everything right. A quiet voice telling me it wasn't worth it, that I was too late, too small, too much, not enough. I used to think that was just life. It wasn't. It was a strategy, and once I saw it clearly, everything changed. I'm sharing exactly what that season looked like for me, what shifted, and how I became unstoppable in stepping into what God called me to do. If you've ever felt frozen in your calling, this episode is for you. Here's what I want you to walk away with today. Unanswered prayer is not unheard prayer. Is there something you've stopped praying about because it felt like God went silent? Pray it again today. The enemy's favorite strategy is silence. What's one lie you've believed about your calling? Speak the opposite truth out loud, right now. Obedience doesn't require an answer first. What's one small step you can take this week toward your message, before you feel ready? You are not stuck. You are not too late. You are unstoppable when you know the truth. Much love, Mia :)

A guilty plea provides certainty — conviction, sentence, finality on the charged cases. It does not provide the full public accounting a trial would have produced. This look back, with criminal defense attorney Bob Motta, examines what Rex Heuermann's plea resolves and what it leaves open.Heuermann pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and four counts of second-degree murder, and admitted to killing an eighth woman as part of the agreement. He confirmed strangulation as the cause of death for each victim. He is expected to be sentenced to three consecutive life terms plus an additional hundred years. The plea eliminates the risk of acquittal but also eliminates the evidentiary presentation, cross-examination, and public testimony that the victims' families were preparing to hear.Motta examines the mechanics of the plea from both sides: what the defense gained by avoiding trial when every pre-trial motion had failed, and what the prosecution secured through the cooperation requirement with the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit. He addresses the additional cases connected to the Gilgo Beach corridor — victims whose remains were found in the area but who were never charged to Heuermann — and whether the plea agreement and FBI cooperation may produce answers on those cases. The segment also considers the psychological dimension, with psychotherapist Shavaun Scott examining the dynamics inside the Heuermann family: an ex-wife who maintained she knew nothing and a daughter who publicly stated her belief in his guilt. We revisit where the matter stood at the time of our reporting.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In 2 Kings 4, Elisha tells a desperate widow to go collect empty jars from her neighbors — and then adds four words that stop everything: don't ask for just a few. The oil kept flowing as long as there were jars. Her provision was not limited by God's supply. It was limited by what she was willing to ask for. Rachel's invitation to us today is both tender and bracing: stop bringing God the polite, hedged, edited version of your prayers. Bring Him the empty jars — all of them. If you're in a season where answers feel far away, Rachel wrote Desperate Prayers: Embracing the Power of Prayer in Life's Darkest Moments for just those kinds of seasons. Today's Bible Verse "Elisha said, 'Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don't ask for just a few.'"— 2 Kings 4:3, NIV Ponder Today A prayer that didn't come the way you hoped is not a signal to ask for less. Unanswered prayer in the way we expected is not evidence that God is done being good to us or that the full-size version of our request is too much to bring Him. Praying small is often fear dressed up as maturity. When we limit our requests to what feels reasonable or safe, we may be protecting our hearts from disappointment rather than exercising genuine faith. God invites the real prayer, not the polished one. Your provision is not limited by God's supply — it can be limited by what you are willing to ask for. The widow's oil stopped when the jars ran out. Elisha's instruction was to gather as many as possible. God is waiting for you to bring more jars. God's past faithfulness is the foundation for present boldness in prayer. The same God who kept a minivan running for fifteen years beyond its prime is the same God who multiplied oil for a widow with almost nothing. His character has not changed. Bring Him the dreams and desires you have been embarrassed to name out loud. The hopes you have been softening, the requests you have been hinting around — those are exactly what God is waiting to hear. He already knows. He wants you to bring them anyway. A Prayer for You Today Heavenly Father, I have been praying small. You know the prayer I am talking about — the big one from a while back that didn't come the way I hoped, and the way I have been hinting at it ever since. Forgive me for deciding what You can and cannot do based on one answer I didn't understand. Forgive me for calling my fear faith. Forgive me for bringing You the polite version of my prayers when You have been waiting for the real ones. Lord, I am bringing You the empty jars today — the hopes I have been softening because they feel too big, the dreams I have been embarrassed to name out loud anymore. Fill them however You want to fill them. I will trust You with the outcome the way I am finally trusting You with the ask. In Jesus' name, Amen. Don't Miss an Episode If today's prayer gave you the courage to bring God your biggest, most unedited ask, we'd love to stay connected. For most of his life, his mother existed only in fragments. Old photographs. Careful family stories. The stillness of a warm September morning in the South was broken by something that didn't belong: a bright red Jeep, abandoned and half-submerged in the murky edge of a quiet creek. Not far from it, drifting in the same dark water, was a young mother of two. What should have been a peaceful start to the day instead became the beginning of a mystery as clouded as the water itself. For the detectives called to the scene, nothing about this case came easily. The deeper they looked, the more the details seemed to twist. Unanswered questions, unsettling circumstances, and relationships that were far more complicated than they first appeared. But as the truth slowly surfaced, it revealed something far more disturbing than anyone had been prepared to face.SponsorsVisit Rula.com/tcc to get affordable, high-quality therapy that's actually covered by insuranceSources:https://www.newspapers.com/image/244437525/?match=1&terms=18%20years%20later%3A%20What%20to%20know%20about%20Lee%20Ann%20Mangrum%27s%20killinghttps://www.newspapers.com/image/276089133/?match=1&terms=%20Lee%20Ann%20Mangrumhttps://www.tncourts.gov/press/2013/03/27/supreme-court-affirms-convictions-upon-finding-no-prosecutorial-misconducthttps://law.justia.com/cases/tennessee/court-of-criminal-appeals/2011/m2009-01810-cca-r3-cd.htmlSnapped Season 24, Episode 25
