She heals using food, words and touch and helps clients with trauma, untangles lives and ensures fulfilment in lives. Prior to accepting her calling Victoria managed multi billion pound portfolios in the public and private sectors. Clients include well known celebrities and high profile portfolios.

Askdpros Media had the opportunity to sit with Arn Terry who shared his remarkable story. He nearly lost everything back in 2008 during the global recession. Moving on from that, he invested his time and money to learn about making money online by using social media so when the Virus crisis happened in 2020 I was ready FOR IT. Coach Cam landed his first industry job in Houston, his hometown with The Houston Texans in the marketing department. From there, he hit the ground running, taking the skills and knowledge he gained with him to the athletic construction industry, working in sales and marketing. Answering his entrepreneurial calling, he soon launched 5 Star Academy where he began his speaking career, writing curriculums, and consulting. His success lead him to his first coaching post. Developing a diverse skillset Coach Cam entered into the NPO space initially as a contract trainer, but eventually as a lead trainer. In addition to speaking across the country in this role, he developed a Corp of trainers, managed events and programming and oversaw grant execution for the Houston Chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

She started her journey in Nigeria then moved to the United Kingdom at a very young age. Susan had career options but ended up as an accountant in the cooperate world. Starting her own brand and building her business as an entrepreneur really gave her the creative mindset to create a service that is people centred without boundaries. On our debut episode this Season 3, we met with Yemisi who, from a young age, was fascinated by movies, music and the entertainment world in general. He didn’t have it easy growing up but with determination and the right mindset, Pro Beez was able to turn an idea into reality by keeping his focus and refusing to give up. He is now using his voice to reach a wider audience and most expecially people living with disability so that they will not be held back in any challenge they are going through. You can clock out of your job but you can’t clock out of yourself. No one was born a criminal or a been around gang members but the environment we are born into plays a huge part in how we are inducted into the society. However, haven’t been born into an area where crime was predominantly high, played an important part in how David Shields grew up. He has been to prison on three different occasions and have served a total of over eight years in prison which had a major impact on his family but most especially his kids. These life experiences have changed David’s perspective towards life and he is now ready to make that change. Currently, he is a personal trainer and he is working his way up to start speaking to disadvantaged young people about the dangers in crime and drugs so they don’t follow his footsteps. We can’t choose where or the kind of family we are born into, started her journey from a little town called Savannah in Georgia USA. Starting all over again does not mean you have lost, sometimes you have to take a step backward for you to move forward. I had a conversation with Francis Osime who just moved to Belguim from Nigeria and he shared his story on his journey, integrating into his new environment and his future goals. We are a product of our surroundings and our circumstances. A black child born into a black underprivileged family will always have a bad start as compared to a white kid from a white underprivileged background. Society will treat them both differently. The white child will generally be treated as underprivileged and he or she won’t be entirely blamed for their lack of progress and their actions when they break the law. They will be treated with due consideration based on their surroundings and circumstances. A black kid on the other hand won’t and will be blamed for his actions as though he is a criminal from the beginning. The law will treat both black and white kids differently. This is not a theory and the evidence is out there for everyone to see through many cases of police brutality we have witnessed for decades in the US and also elsewhere.   First we need to accept the above facts and then we need to educate everyone in not brushing everyone with the same brush. A child born to a underprivileged family, in a neighbourhood where crime is rife, where opportunities are rare, where kids are measured by their clans, their gangs, their achievements in terms of which gang they associate with and how much they have achieved in this hierarchy. How can a child break this cycle? Where are the opportunities for him/her? Every child is innocent and their surroundings and circumstances mould their attitudes and behaviours. We cannot and should not lay the entire blame at the feet of such people who have fallen victim to his upbringing. My guest on this episode is a prime example of what happens when you are born into a system where opportunities are rare and privilege is not something you are given but an entity that has to be fought for.  

Persistence and determination is all you need. Regardless of how talented you are, you need these two virtues to succeed and make your dreams come true. It was a pleasure to interview a talented doctor who started her journey from Cameroon in West Africa at a very young age with just a dream to study Medicine in Italy. With the right preparation and opportunity presenting itself, she realised her dream of becoming a medical doctor. She went further to break barriers by becoming a medical surgeon. I hope that her story will inspire and motivate you as you listen to this remarkable interview as Dr. Evelyn Nkem uses her life as a classroom.

This is the concluding episode of the amazing chat I had with Dr Ikenna Madu. On this final part, we spoke about the importance of having a support group including family, why you should give back and not just take, his advise for anyone that wants to go into a new career path, Nigerians in the spotlight for the wrong reasons and Afro beats as a culture for Africans.

From starting his bachelors degree in Biochemistry and went on to achieve his Ph.D in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology. I had the opportunity to interview Adegboyega Akin-Deko aka Dj Bugzy Lee who is a brand marketing manager in the banking sector. We discussed his love for Afro beats, his interest in music at a young age and why he moved to the Uk from Nigeria. He started his education in Nigeria then later moved to the United Kingdom to complete his masters degree in Engineering Business Management. As a Dj, he is promoting Afro beats along his brand name Dj Bugzy Lee. I had the opportunity to sit down with Kevin Bahun-Wilson to discuss his love for basketball, his move to the Uk from France and some difficulties he faced while studying one the UK. From starting his bachelors degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and went on to achieve his PhD in Nanotechnology and Oil and Gas. Now building his own brand afroballers as an entrepreneur. I had the privilege of interviewing Femi Abiodun, a Law graduate and an enterpreneur who lives in Berlin Germany. In spite the language barrier and other challenges, Femi went through the hooks and challenged the odds of failure to become an incredible force to rekon with in Germany. It was a great pleasure to interview Mr Nguru Kiraba who came from Kenya to the UK at a very young age. We discussed his entry into university , his time in Hong Kong, how he landed his first job and lots more.  I can say I'm so proud of this young man and his achievements, hope his story will motivate and inspire you.
