Season 2 Finale Alert; Coming off a stellar cameo in season 3 of The Bear and every other day a different celebrity is spotted in an Uncle Paulie's Deli garment, there might not be a better person than Paulie James right now to really ask, “what's beef…” Paulie was the first person to trust us at Standard Issue, and create some collaborative garments together back in 2018. That meant a lot. We are psyched to finally find out who put forth the “Uncle Paulie” alias, as well as hear how the Queens, New York inspired deli has blossomed in the city of Angels. Episode 10 is a real treat. We have our great friend, amazing skateboarder, and co host of the world famous podcast, "Nine Club," Mr. Kelly Hart. What do you get when a beatuiful young boy travels from Korea, to Colombia, before settling in the city of Los Angeles in the early 80's? In this case, a fun loving officiando of the writing on the wall, hip hop and all the incredible aspects of its culture, and culinary palette that transcends various continents. For season 2, episode 8, we introduce to yall OG CHINO. He says OG, but we'll say triple OG.  Los Angeles is obvioulsy home base for us. It is super important that we take time to rap with the individuals that have helped shape the culture of this amazing city. So much of what Chino has contributed to is what has inspired us, and inspired the Standard Issue brand. From his pops work as a diplomat, and tae kwon do instructor. Being raised by his older sisters in 80's in K-Town, to opening record shops on Slauson, and working for Rick Rubin, Chino's career has touched alot of different people, places, and things. Soak it all in. After you listen, take a trip over to his Colombian/Korean hybrid restaurant, Escala in K-Town for some amazing food and amazing music..

Not gonna lie. It is kinda fun to touch base with our friends on here who are generally the quietest and most reserverd. As is the case with our guest for episode 7 of season 2, Mr. Ricky Li. The influence of native New Yorkers feels like it is becoming quite the norm this season, and so is the case with Ricky's upbringing. Like most kids growing up in the Lower East Side of New York, it's that early exposure to this world of skate, music, fashion that has formed the world of streewear. Rick was born into it, literally. A super rad episode from the kindest of individuals. From Vintage Kicks, to Flight Club NY, and Fight Club LA, to his latest venture; the beautifully curated vintage offering Tried and True, Rick discusses all of these incredible ventures he's been able to place his imprint upon over the years. We are psyched to usher in another a second season of Behind The Seams. What a way to get it going with none other than an orignal JSP and Standard Issue supporter, Mr. Brocky Marciano. The vibe and layout is a bit switched up. However, think it gives the standard issue studio a little bit more relaxed aura to discuss Mr. Korsan's career in music, dot connecting, and all things comfortable, and cozy fashions. The season finale of Behind The Seams has arrived. We could not of asked for a better guest to wrap it all up with. For episode 13, we present to you Chicago's own, Ibn Jasper. Mr. Jasper has been a day 1 JSP/Standard Issue supporter. On this episode we get a glimpse of his upbringing from curating shape ups and hair cuts, to discovering the world of skateboarding, and fashion thru his Chi-town lens. From there, we learn how he came to have a Louis Vuitton sneaker named after him. All in addition to his education, and progression in the world of design alongside some of the entertainment and music space most elite. Episode 12 we link up with a young man that has been an awesome supporter of Standard Issue for quite some time. An ethusiast of performance art thats landed him on some great acting roles. We are thrilled to have on Mr. Brandon Larracuente. Brandon outlines for us how he got into acting. Growing up between New York City, and Florida. Navigating the demanding world of acting with the support of his wife. Also, sharing some information on the platform him and his wife are creating together to help create shine for other latino actors and actresses. This segment of Behind The Seams we have an individual that was giving us a glimpse into Los Angeles, and some of the cities' favorite creatives, and cultural topic long before instagram....  The Levi Maestro. We talk about the things Maestro Knows; Skateboarding. Sneakers. His Fox Sports shows. Directing. Production. Videography. Vans Vault Collaborations. And, how he seemingly stepped back from camera just as quick as all of his work in front of the camera took off. This is a good one. Tune in. 

Episode 6 finds us sitting down with the better half of our Co-Host Jimmy Gorecki's, wife, Dev. Jarod, Dev, and Jimmy discuss her upbringing in Manteca, California. We don't know what LA Leaker's own DJ Sourmilk did to deserve the redicule he gets from our own Jimmy Gorecki in episode 4 of Behind The Seams, but we can attest, its funny. Tune in, as Sourmilk explains to us how the Leakers were built, how they've created such a strong platform for rappers to shine, and what not to do if you'd like to get into one of Milk's various Las Vegas nightclub residenices. 

Paul Rodriguez discussed resigning with Nike SB, Getting a Jordan Brand Jumpman logo on his signature skate shoe, getting rep flow from other skateboard sneaker brands growing up, working with the late, great Kobe Bryant on Nike commercials, being influenced on tee shirt size by Brandon Biebel, staying focused and balanced in the midst of his skate career, Primitive business, and extracurricular leisurely activities and much more...
