What's up Bros? Well this one was a doozy. In this episode, the ring drama gets a second wind as Janet and Jason manufacture a storyline. We get nonsense from the VPR transplants that results in truth or dare about Brocks wiener and far too many mentions of enchiladas. Jasmine is fed up with Janet's shenanigans and reads her down. Jason seems genuinely hurt by the Jasmine situation. Danny and Nia come close to a compromise about baby number 4. Zack finally airs his stuff out with an unaccepting Britany. But we see once again, things we should not see. We watch Britany get more emotional abuse from Jax. Jax still taking no accountability. And we see IN REAL TIME thanks to some disgusting camera pans, how this is affecting Cruz. We need Jax and Britany off of this show at this point for the sake of their son. It's too much and it is going to be the death of this show. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Happy Memorial Day Weekend. In this episode, Derek (@CreaseAndAssist), Kalisha (@KalishaTownsell), and Theresa (@MNSOTA24), once again discuss the future with the Wild of Marco Rossi. However, it's more of an aside, as once again we're in the middle of discussion of who the fans want on the team and who management will be able to get into a Wild uniform. Those players, being the two Brocks, Boeser and Nelson, Mitch Marner, and Tage Thompson. We then discuss the words of former NHLer Jaroslav Spacek in regards to his son David who has been a fantastic role player for the Iowa Wild but never gets the chance in Saint Paul. We round out today's show looking at some news around the hockey world, and then add our own farewell to ESPN's Around the Horn, who just aired their last show after it's impressive 23 years on the air. Once again many thanks to all of you who add comments to our posts and polls and also ask us questions that they want our take on. Without your great contributions, we certainly would have a less dynamic show. Now, go have a safe Memorial Day weekend, as we unofficially welcome the start to the summer season!

Today I am joined by my friend and fellow podcaster Brock Bevelle. Hes a retired police officer and a man in long term sobriety from opioid addiction. He also manages the Tiktok and IG accounts called @Fentanylprojectaz where he interviews people on the street in active addiction. We are going to talk about what its like to be in long term sobriety and actually get into some of our dark addiction stories that keep us sober that we dont normally talk about. I also wanted to bring awareness to Brocks work where he is actually in the streets trying to help people kick fentanyl addiction. He offers basics like hygiene kits, sunscreen, and water, but he also offers emotional and recovery resources. Not only that, he is literally saving lives on a regular basis. There are many videos on Tiktok where he Narcans people who are actively overdosing. Its heartbreaking, but also so inspiring to watch as he gives hope to so many people. The main reason I wanted to talk with Brock again is because I wanted to find out how we as a community can support people like him who are on the streets every day. If you are inspired by Brocks work and you feel called to help, Ill encourage you to send him some supplies through his amazon link. Ill leave it in the show notes at odaatchat.com, or you can also find it on IG and Tiktok under @fentanylprojectaz So without further delay, please enjoy this episode, and let me know what you think! =J

Sadie is delighted to welcome the Brocks to the podcast for the first time! Mack and Meredith Brock couldn't have had more opposite childhoods: Mack was raised in a southern, stable, and loving Christian household while Meredith grew up in an unstable environment with poverty, broken parents, and violence. Meredith tells Sadie that it wasn't until a couple invited her to live with them that she saw what a healthy, loving marriage looked like and she learned important life skills too. So when Mack began pursuing her, instead of running the other way, she found real and accepting love. But a good marriage takes work, continually asking what the other needs and how you can serve them! Then Mack and Meredith share about being foster parents, Mack's music career, and Meredith's work with Proverbs 31 ministries. Then, they dive into the Mariners offseason and their lack of activity, and Salk believes this is the first time in the Jerry Dipoto era that they haven't truly had a plan. For Blue 88, Brocks breaks down who/what offers the Seahawks the clearest perspective on personnel decisions, a lesson he's learned about NFL Draft profiles regarding injuries, and if the Mariners were a college football team, who would they be.

Brock and Salk discuss how badly the Seahawks need a win against the Falcons on Sunday. They also compare the Lions roster building over the last couple of years to the possibility of what the Seahawks could be, especially after Mike Macdonald saying he expects the Seahawks to be a very physical football team. In Blue 88, Brocks dives in on Roy Robertson-Harris, Dan Lanning and Jedd Fisch.
