After the GM goes on a tirade about historical potash production and we do a live Resources & Teams turn, Eero leads VS, Ibn the Roaster, and Zaza in a continued exploration of the underlevel of the Abbey of St Clewyd. They figure out a tricky door and make contact with the monks inside the western portion of the underlevel, who are split into Cardinite and Loyalist factions and speak of something called "the Charge" that they refuse to let the PCs see. Abbott Lummingwyll convinces them to take a holy mace into the chaos rift to disrupt it. Ibn goes in three times, with different results, and the final time is nearly killed (but saved by the children of Mr Rag&Bone). Eero duels a resurrected monk, and they lower VS down a rope into a well, where he encounters Grandfather Eel, who seeks for worshipers to ascend to godhood. At close of play, the sun has risen on the ruins, but both Ibn and Tals are missing from the party. To be continued!

VS leads Tals, Ibn the Roaster, and ZaZa back to the Phantom Cloisters by the dark of the new moon. They look for Mr Rag-n-Bones and speak to the children, determining that Violet is missing from a noble family. They see the Ghost Crow Trappers and descend to the undercroft level. There, while they investigate some strange vines, a warp worm attacks and swallows Tals whole. He is expelled when the worm is killed but it disappears into another warp. Animated cherubs and a very bad cosmic rift, Ibn and ZaZa temporarily swapping heads, and Zaza's legs turn into grasshopper legs. A room of chattering skulls and fleshy walls is investigated. They briefly battle some undead abbots, and stop at a confluence of strange waters where corpses lie at the bottom of a pool.

Before the swords clashed at Badr, three men stepped forward to face three of Quraysh's champions in a duel that would open one of the most pivotal battles in Islamic history. Hamza, Ali, and Ubaydah ibn al-Harith stood against Shaybah, Utbah, and Al-Walid; and the encounter ended with both swift victory and painful sacrifice. Ubaydah ibn al-Harith fell that day, bleeding severely, yet spent his final moments reciting poetry in defence of the Prophet ﷺ. The episode also covers the Prophet ﷺ spending the battle in his tent, raising his hands to Allah to the point where his garment fell from his shoulders, and Abu Bakr's emotional response beside him. Allah's answer came; angels descending, fear placed in the hearts of Quraysh, and victory granted to a small group of believers who had placed their complete trust in Allah. The episode closes with a powerful reminder that victory always belongs to those who hold firm to their faith, no matter how impossible the odds may look. Zaza leads Ibn the Scorcher, VS, Talsarian, and Eero in a nighttime exploration of the ruined Abbey of St Clewyd, also known as the Phantom Cloisters. They meet some ghost crow trappers, then enter the compound through a side entrance. In the herb garden, they meet a ghostly monk who tells Eero a secret, and in the cloisters, they meet another who wishes his bones to be properly buried - he also has a magic spear that Eero takes and some Devilweed Tabac that Ibn smokes. Exploring the ruined chapel, Tals immediately finds a key and the hidden altar compartment where the Battle Standard of Tempus is stored. Eero plays the organ and releases a murder of Ghost Crows that attack the party. They eventually defeat most of them and harvest a single Ghost Crow Quill for Tals. They discover the graveyard with some corpses missing teeth, and bury the bones of the other monk. They also see a small child there but avoid her, and move over to the bell tower. There, Zaza prays to St Woad of the Bread and decides that he is now the Abbot of St Woad. They encounter two other small children who speak highly of Mr Rag-n-Bones and show the adventurers his strange artworks. Zaza summons Mr Rag-n-Bones by tolling the bell but manages to avoid combat by complimenting his artistic style. Mr Rag-n-Bones tells the players about his past as a servant of the Dewdrop Man and how to find Dewdrop Manse in the heart of the Southwood. Before dawn breaks (possibly trapping them there), the party retreats back into the Southwood and makes their way back to Wildfire Caverns to plan their next move.

NetworkNewsWire Editorial Coverage: Rising geopolitical tensions and renewed disruptions to global shipping lanes, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, are once again underscoring a hard truth for policymakers: Energy security remains deeply fragile. The United States and Europe, despite years of diversification efforts, continue to face exposure to supply shocks that can ripple across economies, industries and households. Against this backdrop, companies working to unlock new, politically stable energy resources are drawing increased attention. The Caravan Crew, led by Ibn the Scorcher and joined by wizard Tals (featuring Judd in his first DnDNerds appearance), visit the Abbey of the Broken Blade, a place for retired soldiers of war-god Tempus. Eero investigates whether Tempus is the god he's been searching for. They deliver some weapons and try to sell some armor, but instead are told some of the story of a mysterious site more than 150 miles to the west - the Phantom Cloister, also known as the Abbey of St. Clewweth, which only appears at night during the new moon. The party sets out to catch it by the next new moon in two weeks - along the way they battle fire beetles (which Tals successfully harvests fire glands from), stop to trade in Llorkh and at Zath Gor (formerly Oleg's Trading Post), and leave the caravan with Bariq at the Wildfire Caverns. They find some excellent hot springs, which ZaZa really enjoys. As the deadline approaches, they hear the unearthly wailing (or perhaps whaling?) associated with the site.
Abu Sufyaan Ibn Harb رضي الله عنه (S44) Abu Sufyaan's wife, Hind رضي الله عنهم, also embraced Islam on this special day. Hind رضي الله عنها pledged to the Messenger ﷺ using a cloth. The Messenger ﷺ didn't touch the hands of women. Abu Sufyaan رضي الله عنه was from Banu Umayya. This tribe had Companions such as Uthmaan Ibn Affaan and Sa'eed Ibn al-Aas رضي الله عنهم who were extremely generous. Abu Sufyaan رضي الله عنه requested 3 things from the Messenger ﷺ
Was the great Sufi thinker Ibn 'Arabi actually a kind of idealist philosopher? In this video we explore the metaphysics of the Akbari tradition and the famous doctrine of Wahdat al-Wujud (Oneness of Being).I examine Ibn ‘Arabi's view that God (al-Haqq) is the only true Reality, while the universe is a divine self-disclosure within Being. Along the way we look at concepts like wujūd (Being), imagination (khayāl), the immutable entities (a‘yān thābita), and the idea that the world is a reflection of the divine attributes.Find me and my music here:https://linktr.ee/filipholmSupport Let's Talk Religion on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/letstalkreligion Or through a one-time donation: https://paypal.me/talkreligiondonateSources/Recommended Reading:Abdel-Hadi, Faris (2025). Many hearts in Ramadan begin reconnecting with the Qur'an, but then a deeper longing appears: the desire to truly become from the people of the Qur'an. In this episode, we reflect on the greatness of the Qur'an, why its words have the power to heal hearts, and how a believer can begin building a real relationship with it. Drawing from the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the powerful words of Ibn al-Qayyim, this reminder explores the avenues through which a person can love the Qur'an. Because when a heart truly learns to love the Qur'an, it is a sign that it has begun to love Allah. What if the reason your heart feels restless in prayer is not weakness… but what you have been training it to love? This episode exposes a wounded heart many overlook: the heart filled with music. A heart that feels, cries, and moves - yet has learned to seek comfort in sound instead of the remembrance of Allah. Through the Qur'an, the statements of the Sahabah, and the insights of Ibn al-Qayyim, this reminder uncovers how music reshapes the heart, breeds hypocrisy, and slowly pushes the Qur'an out. From Abdullah ibn Mas'ud's oath regarding its danger, to a life-changing encounter that redirected a voice from singing to the Qur'an, this episode asks one urgent question: what truly fills your heart when you are alone? Ramadan arrives - and instead of rest, your heart feels heavier. Responsibilities remain. Deadlines don't pause. Worship begins to feel like another weight on an already burdened soul. If you've ever wondered "How can I benefit from Ramadan when I'm overwhelmed?" - this episode is for you. This talk speaks to the serious heart: the one that fasts, prays, works, provides, and still feels exhausted. Through Qur'anic Ayaat, life-changing Ahadith, and the insights from Ibn al-Qayyim, this episode reframes Ramadan as a month of balance - not burnout. You'll learn why Allah never burdens beyond capacity, why spiritual ups and downs are natural, and what true Tawakkul really means: effort in its place, outcomes left to Allah. This Ramadan, don't ask how to do more. Ask the deeper question: what are you carrying that Allah never asked you to carry? NetworkNewsWire Editorial Coverage: Healthcare real estate investment trusts (“REITs”) have emerged as one of the more resilient and structurally supported segments of the real estate market, driven by powerful demographic trends and evolving healthcare delivery needs. As the U.S. population ages and demand for long-term care services accelerates, skilled nursing facilities in particular are gaining renewed attention from investors due to their essential role in post-acute care and the relatively constrained supply environment that limits rapid new development. These dynamics have helped position healthcare REITs among the stronger-performing real estate sectors in recent periods, supported by stable demand drivers and long-term occupancy visibility. Within this landscape, Strawberry Fields REIT Inc. (NYSE American: STRW) (Profile) is carving out a focused niche as an owner and lessor of skilled nursing and other healthcare-related properties. A self-administered REIT engaged in ownership, acquisition, development and leasing of skilled nursing and certain other healthcare-related properties, Strawberry Fields is focused on pursuing growth through targeted acquisitions, long-term triple-net lease structures and partnerships with experienced operators to capitalize on the structural tailwinds shaping the skilled nursing real estate market. Strawberry Fields joins an elite group of healthcare REITs, including CareTrust REIT Inc. (NYSE: CTRE), Sabra Health Care REIT Inc. (NASDAQ: SBRA), Omega Healthcare Investors Inc. (NYSE: OHI) and Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL), that are leading the way forward in this growing space. A self-managed and self-administered REIT, Strawberry Fields specializes in the acquisition, ownership and triple-net leasing of skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute healthcare properties. For skilled nursing-focused REITs, lease terms can matter as much as where the buildings are located, because lease structure drives rent visibility. In a limited-supply segment, growth often comes from buying existing facilities and leasing them to operating partners under long-term structures. Strawberry Fields' Missouri acquisition provides a concrete case study. In an uncertain economy, Strawberry Fields showed its stability by announcing a $0.16 per common share cash dividend for Q4 2025. Jacob Mchangama, founder and director of the think tank Justitia, has written a one-volume history of freedom of thought, which ranges from the lone Demosthenes of 4th-century BCE Athens to the recent controversies regarding Donald Trump. In Free Speech: A History from Socrates to Social Media (Basic Books, 2022), Mchangama argues that the history of freedom of thought has recurrent themes, such as a free speech entropy: the perception of rulers or governments that if speech is not restricted then social or political decline or disorder is inevitable. Mchangama also notes how restrictions usually have the unintended effect of emboldening the speakers and making the forbidden speech even more attractive to potential listeners. This history also reveals advocates of free speech less familiar to Western readers, such as the ninth-century Persian scholar Ibn al-Rawandi, a theologian and later skeptic whose life illustrates the debates possible in medieval Islam. Mchangama reviews the modern debates regarding freedom of thought and the latest iterations of arguments about whether free speech will lead to social decline and chaos. Mchangama is a champion of free speech but his history provides a fair minded account of the concerns of speech restrictionists throughout history. Ian J. In Chapter 38 of The Book of Trump, Ghost delivers a sweeping, deeply contextual walkthrough of the First and Second Russo-Chechen Wars, conflicts that shaped modern Russia, elevated Vladimir Putin, and revealed how external powers, radical Islamist networks, and long-buried ethnic tensions collided in the Caucasus. He traces the story from the collapse of the Soviet Union to Chechnya's bid for independence, the rise of warlords like Dudayev, Basayev, and Ibn al-Khattab, and the brutal urban combat that devastated Grozny. Ghost explains how foreign-funded jihadists transformed the conflict, how Russia's early miscalculations led to humiliation, and how the Kadyrov dynasty emerged as Moscow's solution to a region teetering between chaos and insurgency. With maps, timelines, historical context stretching back to ancient empires, and connections to modern geopolitics, this chapter lays the groundwork for understanding Russia's strategy, its asymmetric federation, its wars in the Caucasus, and how these conflicts still shape the global stage today.

Episode 38 covers most aspects of his reign and the final years of his father, Ordoño, including the origins of Castile and Portugal as counties, the society of comital Castile, and the tragic story of the end of Alfonso's reign with the revolt of his sons and the division of the Kingdom of Asturias. Dr Calis introduces listeners to the rich metaphysical world of Ibn al-‘Arabī and the Akbarī tradition, where revelation is seen as an ontological process rather than a historical event. He explains how divine speech unfolds through the hierarchical realms of existence and clarifies the misunderstood distinction between risāla (messengership) and wilāya (sainthood). The discussion connects classical Sufi metaphysics to contemporary debates on divine communication.

Puisi Spiritual Api Cintaku Kepada Tuhan Semesta Alam oleh Ibunda Rabia Al-Basri Dari Basra, Irak.Rabia al-Basri (Rabi‘ah al-‘Adawiyyah al-Qaysiyyah, w.
You're crushing it at work or uni, but can't stop looking at what you shouldn't when you're alone. You give charity publicly but backbite privately. You know the names of all the Premier League players, but "not much" about the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah. Your parents think you're the perfect Muslim child while you're drowning in guilt cycles you can't break. Religious enough to feel shame, worldly enough to keep sinning. Don't you think it's time to change? Watch Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan break down this forgotten treatise by Ibn Taymiyyah's student Ibn al-Habbal - battle-tested advice from someone who survived real consequences. He explains how to protect your heart and your time, the only two things that actually matter. How to stop trying to please everyone and focus on pleasing Allah alone. The brutal reminder: You're ageing but your sins aren't decreasing. Every breath is documented. You'll answer for every moment you had health, free time, and youth. What's your response going to be? Learn what's destroying Muslims today that's worse than private sins - the same extremism that ruined past nations. Going overboard with righteous people, and drifting towards shirk by asking dead saints for help instead of making dua directly to Allah. The collection of wisdom fables known as Kalila and Dimna began its long literary life in Sanskrit more than two millennia ago, and was subsequently translated to numerous languages. But it is the Arabic version, adapted from Middle Persian by the eighth-century scholar Ibn al-Muqaffa, that has left the most substantial literary footprint. A foundational text of classical Arabic prose and the basis for translations into Hebrew, Syriac, Castilian, Latin, Persian, and more, versions of Kalila and Dimna exists in hundreds of manuscript copies held in libraries around the world. Kalila and Dimna is the focus of Isabel Toral and Beatrice Gruendler's new work An Unruly Classic: Kalīla and Dimna and Its Syriac, Arabic, and Early Persian Versions (Brill: 2024). In this collected volume, members of the Kalila and Dimna project discuss, from different perspectives, a core aspect of their work with this textual tradition: the study of variation and mutability. The aim is to shed light on Kalila and Dimna's so-called mouvance and establish typologies of textual mobility and instability across linguistic traditions and historical periods, as well as to develop analytical tools to describe, classify, represent, and interpret these dynamics. As will be shown, the progressive digitalization of philology in the last decades has offered the unique opportunity of putting the concept of mouvance into practice. Contributors include Theodore S. Why do sins that once made the Salaf tremble now sit so calmly on our shoulders? You disobey Allah and feel nothing. No uneasiness, no fear that His punishment could strike in an instant, no dread of growing distant from Him. Why do your eyes stay dry, refusing to shed even a single tear alone in the dark, out of fear of His anger? Those same sins that would steal their sleep pass through us like shadows. We walk on, hearts heavy yet hollow. In this lesson from the explanation of the book Ad-Daa' Wa Ad-Dawaa' by Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan shares piercing words and Aathaar from the Salaf on the topic of sin. They saw how entire communities fall when people keep sinning without shame. Corrupt leaders rise. Families break apart. Blessings slip through our fingers. All because we sin and don't care. When was the last time your heart flinched at a sin? Or has it turned numb, just drifting? This is your chance to wake up before it's too late. We keep asking what's gone wrong with Muslims today—but we're ignoring the one thing that's always brought nations to their knees. From the people of Nuh, to Aad and Thamud, to the people of Lut—every collapse began with the same root cause. In this episode of The Disease and the Cure by Imām Ibn al-Qayyim, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan explains how sins—when ignored, normalised, or made public—have always led to destruction, and how that same legacy is unfolding again today. Are we walking the same path? Are we prepared for what follows?
