The Songwriters Festival is this week, so we are headed down to the end of the road. I added some fishing talk this week, and hopefully after the Festival I'll get back on the water. I can't wait!
The weather has been great down here in the Keys. A bit windy for fishing, but that makes for solid days by the pool soaking up the sun. The Spring Break push is over, so come on down while it's a bit less busy.
Yes indeed. I not only had the flu and recovered, it was quickly followed up by my first case of Covid. JoNell joined in on the fun too. But we are both feeling better now, and while it was a bit of a setback, we are finally nearing the end of the big move.
I'm back! The tail end of moving is still happening, but I have connectivity once again. A bit about the move, the island, some fishing and some news.
Finally got back to fishing again. And it was great! Thanks for listening.
Yes indeed.. we've had another cold front blow through and now we have brush fires. Fun times down this way. Thanks much for listening!

The title says it all. A small window with no wind opened up and I took advantage of it. It was good to be back on the water. Also, some music news, commentary and getting ready for Thanksgiving.
The wind is still blowing and the boat is still on the trailer, so I've decided to just talk about fishing for almost the entire podcast. Enjoy!
Yes, the wind is still blowing, but the weather in the Keys has been absolutely beautiful. Blue skies with lots of sunshine. This week - a restaurant tip, books and fishing with lures for yellowtail snapper.
This weeks title may be a bit misleading. What it really says is that a lot more talking about fishing is happening, instead of actually wetting a line. The weather has been an issue and hopefully will get better soon. Tune in, and thanks for listening. Hopefully I'll be able to add some fishing reports by next week. Fingers crossed!
Yes indeed, a combo podcast because it was a crazy two weeks. Hurricanes, tropical storms, doctors, hospitals and not much fishing. We are all wishing we could go fishing! Hopefully that will happen on next weeks podcast. Thanks for you patience and for listening!

I used to title these episodes "Hodgepodge" because it's a little bit of this and a little bit that. Some fishing, some stories and tips, along with a new place to eat and some new music.
A fantastic fishing trip with a friend I hadn't seen in about four years. We had a blast, and the number of fish caught was pretty epic. Also... still eliminating unwanted stuff in the tackle bag and making a concerted effort to put fly fishing back in my life.
Good week on the water along with a visit from my daughter. Lots of fish caught and lots of restaurants visited. Thanks in advance for listening!
At last! I finally got back on the water not once, but two times this past week. So there's talk about inshore and offshore.
