The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing the Sixers after their 5th straight win last night. Joe Giglio strongly feels that the team is worth investing in and that they can make the finals this year in a very weak Eastern Conference. The team can make the playoffs and they could use help to put them over the top. Hugh Douglas wants the team to stay put because he does not want to break up the young core. He also says that we should have fun with the season and keep expectations relatively low like they were at the start of the season.

This Week: Get Up! It's Time to GoJesus doesn't just meet people in church—he follows them home. In Mark 1, a quiet family house turns into a crowded doorway, and then Jesus walks away from it all. This week's sermon asks a simple question: where is Jesus calling you to get up and go?Sermon Series: Mark This DownAs we approach our church's final chapter, we are returning to what matters most. Over the next 16 weeks, we will walk through the Gospel of Mark, one chapter at a time, listening again to the story of Jesus. Every so often, you meet someone whose stories open a wider doorway into what adventure can teach us. My conversation with Melissa Rodway brought me into the quiet truths of travel, the power of humor, and the way purpose often appears when we least expect it.Melissa is a writer, journalist, and global traveler who has spent years observing human nature with curiosity and heart. Her debut book The People You Meet grew out of a four month journey across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China. What started as simple emails written during long rides became the foundation for a book she revisited fifteen years later. She also created Fly Travel Radio, hosting more than 180 episodes, and recently stepped into standup comedy, blending honesty with lightness in a way that reflects her natural storytelling voice. In this conversation, Melissa shares how travel shifts as we grow, how intuition guides her next steps, and why some places feel instantly familiar while others never fully land. We talk about travel burnout, the art of knowing when it is time to go home, and the difference between joining someone else's adventure and creating your own. Melissa also opens up about connection, humor as a universal bridge, and the unexpected moments that shape us on the road.Takeaways from this episode Knowing when to pause or go home is an important part of every journey. Humor can create connection faster than anything else on the road. Purpose often appears when you choose to create meaning for yourself. Some places feel like home for reasons the mind cannot explain.Learn more about MelissaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/fly_travel_mediaWebsite: https://www.flyrodway.comPodcast Archive: https://on.soundcloud.com/bLhpxbhiQRk0J0mTWWThe People You Meet book: https://a.co/d/6PCUKN4If this episode speaks to you, share it with a friend, leave a review, and follow along for more stories thatSend us a text Support the show✨ Join My TEDx Spokane Journey! Stijn Schmitz welcomes back John Feneck to the show. John is CEO Feneck Consulting Group. They discuss the current state of precious metals markets, focusing on the remarkable performance of gold and silver in 2023. Gold has risen over 68% year-to-date, while silver has surged 125%, creating significant excitement in the sector. Feneck attributes the rally to weakening US labor market data and potential shifts in Federal Reserve policy. He notes growing interest from financial advisors and investors in precious metals equities, with his own business seeing a 300% increase in inbound inquiries since September 2022. Despite the impressive gains, the precious metals sector remains incredibly small, representing less than 1% of the overall market. The discussion highlights promising investment opportunities in mining and critical mineral sectors. He also emphasizes the importance of quality management, long-term industry experience, and strategic project locations when evaluating potential investments. Beyond traditional gold and silver, Feneck is bullish on critical minerals like tungsten, citing companies such as Guardian Metals as potential future performers. His investment approach prioritizes flexibility, with current positions including a 16-17% allocation to silver and strategic investments in junior mining and exploration companies. Feneck’s investment philosophy centers on thorough research, attending conferences, maintaining consistent communication with company leadership, and employing a disciplined approach to buying and selling based on technical indicators like RSI and fundamental company developments. Morgan Chase Funds, where he ranked #1 in gross and net sales once at Merrill Lynch and three times at J.P. Morgan (among 40 peers).Since 2017 he has contributed articles to Kitco—becoming a regular contributor in 2021—and has appeared as a featured guest. He's delivered over 250 client seminars and webinars, spoken at 12 global commodities events, and in 2017 joined Sprott's precious metals portfolio-management team. There he developed a proprietary methodology combining technical analysis with direct insights from company management, advocating a “go anywhere” strategy and a diversified portfolio of 25–50 resource stocks to navigate the sector's volatility. In September 2019 he founded Feneck Consulting Group, helping small- and mid-cap metals and mining companies raise brand awareness and advising high-net-worth advisors on market opportunities and risks. He holds Series 7, Series 63, CMFC and CIMA Level 1 certifications (though he is not a licensed advisor) and focuses on consulting. As we wrap up 2025 and start dreaming about our goals for the New Year, this week's guest, ultracyclist Paula Ralph, has one simple message: Just go for it. We often wait until we're 100% ready—which usually means we never start. But whether you succeed or fall short, you'll be better for having tried. Paula knows this firsthand. She set out to break a world record riding solo from Cape Town, South Africa to Nordkapp, Norway. Sponsors pulled out. Mechanical issues piled up. She got heat stroke…and hit by a truck. Safety concerns forced reroutes. The record slipped away. But she didn't stop. She kept going—ultimately riding 12,290 km across 17 countries in 126 days. And what she gained was far bigger than a record: proof that she's stronger than she ever imagined, and a reminder of what midlife women can do when we dare to go big.Paula Ralph is a solo endurance cyclist who rode unsupported from Cape Town to Nordkapp, Norway — a 12,290 km journey across 17 countries in just 126 days. What began as a world record attempt quickly turned into a raw test of resilience. Navigating relentless challenges, both on and off the bike, Paula had to let go of the record and hold on to something more powerful — the will to keep going. Her journey is one of survival, courage, and what it means to find freedom at the edge of your comfort zone. She was recently named a "sporting hero" as one of the top 100 female cyclists by CyclingUK. You can learn more about her and her mission @thelongrideglobal on Instagram. Today's show focuses heavily on the politics of the left which are unceasing and unapologetic in the ground they want to take and the voices they want silenced. Increasingly, more calls are coming from the MAGA base to do something most have been uncomfortable and unwilling to do - nuke the filibuster in the Senate. Stigall takes comment from around the country - is this a necessary step before the left does it anyway? Now that massive flight cancellations are likely and disruptions to more Americans lives - including those without a paycheck grow - is it time for drastic action? Plus, Sydney Sweeny in her fist interview since the American Eagle faux-controversy absolutely fillets the interviewer with a simple answer. Mrs. Obama is still very upset over the burden of being her. More indictments seem to be coming in the Trump/ Russia hoax. It's apparently ok to throw things at cops now. And despite a glum economy, predictions of what you'll spend this holiday season are pretty bullish. -For more info visit the official website: https://chrisstigall.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisstigallshow/Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisStigallFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chris.stigall/Listen on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/StigallPodListen on Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/StigallShowSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The weather is finally shifting away from the summer heat and it is time to go find out exactly what kind of fitness you've build this year!
Confidence isn't something you're born with, but something you build. In this episode, I share why confidence is always the by-product of action, not a feeling you wait for. I talk about my experience in the C-suite, the fears I carried that turned out to be wasted energy, and how bold moves in Q4 can set you up for massive success next year. I also share how a near-canceled Dubai trip led to interviewing billionaire Peter Jones, who taught me to go BIGGER, and why being called ‘delusional' might be the best compliment you'll receive. Get ready to stop overthinking and start showing up as the most confident version of yourself. In This Episode You Will Learn Why CONFIDENCE is a by-product of ACTION, not a feeling. How to ACT confident before you actually feel it. The BODY LANGUAGE shift that lowers stress and boosts power. Why Q4 is the BEST TIME to pitch raises, promotions, and clients. How to LEVERAGE your personal brand for global opportunities. SALES CLOSING STRATEGIES you can apply to clients, sponsors, or pitches. The POWER of testimonials, identity, and silence in closing deals.
