Florida Man Allegedly Kills Woman During Date at Resort, Conceals Body in Water Heater Closet, Authorities Say A Florida man has been charged with murder after allegedly killing a woman during a meeting at a resort hotel in the Florida Keys and attempting to conceal the crime. Dylan Lamb, 33, was arrested in connection with the death of 43-year-old Nadyne Marie Tillman, whose body was discovered in a closet at the Amoray Dive Resort in Key Largo on Monday. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a missing persons report at the resort and found Tillman's body hidden under a water heater. She had been brutally beaten to death. Lamb, who had been on probation for a previous grand theft conviction, allegedly met Tillman through a sex solicitation website. Investigators learned from Tillman's friend that she had texted about meeting a man at the resort on Saturday morning but was never heard from again after saying “I'm in” when Lamb opened the door. A resort employee confirmed Lamb rented the room through Expedia and provided his mother's phone number. He had checked into the room Friday night but refused to switch rooms when hotel staff attempted to relocate him. Lamb vacated the room on Sunday, leaving behind three large trash bags filled with soiled towels and linens, which were later described as heavily stained with blood, urine, and feces. Unfortunately, hotel staff disposed of the bags without alerting authorities, and the dumpster containing them is now gone. Tillman's family grew concerned after she failed to respond to messages, leading her daughter to trace her car to the resort. Police were alerted, and the body was discovered shortly after. Lamb's parole officer confirmed he had met with him the day before the discovery. Detectives arrested Lamb at his job as a kayak instructor. During questioning, Lamb admitted to paying Tillman $200 for sex but claimed she tried to leave without fulfilling her end of the agreement. Lamb alleged that he blocked the door to stop her, and she began hitting him. He said he only hit her once in the face, causing her to fall, hit her head, and lose consciousness. Lamb then claimed he went to the bathroom to calm down and returned to find her not breathing. He said he panicked, tried to clean up the scene, and hid her body in the water heater closet. Lamb also disposed of Tillman's cellphone and the soiled linens. However, investigators found that Tillman's injuries were inconsistent with Lamb's account, revealing multiple facial injuries, including two black eyes and a busted lip. In addition to murder, Lamb faces charges of kidnapping, destruction of evidence, and procuring a prostitute. He remains in Monroe County Jail without bond as the investigation continues. Every scuba diver must visit this location at some point in their life. My only regret is not going sooner. We noticed that it's just as mind-blowing to non-divers and kids as it is to certified divers. I also believe it inspires many to go and get involved in the world of scuba diving. In this interview, I speak with the executive director, Lisa Mongelia while at the DEMA Show. She not only gives us some foundational history, but some of the most interesting points and facts about the museum itself.  I also found the little hidden Playmobile divers to be wildly fun, in an Easter-eggy kinda way! The history of Diving Museum is a first-class operation with extremely fine attention to detail. This is every diver's bucket-list destination, and it's perfectly situated in the Florida Keys, on Islamorada.  From sound effects to things you can touch, we got the vibe of being transported somewhere else. I was shocked at the number of dive helmets and suits that exist out there and loved the timeline and facts along the floor as we walked from one exhibit to the next. They displayed everything from earliest Seibe Gorman dive helmets to the Mark V, as well as all regular scuba diving milestones and even the submersible Jim Suits (atmosphere dive suits). This was one of my all-time favorite maritime attractions, and I will be back! PS I think what really makes this one pop is tha fact that it's right in between SO much scuba diving (between Key Largo and Key West). It just fits. Conservation photographer Ian Wilson-Navarro was born in Miami but has lived his entire life in Key Largo. He got his first camera as a teenager, and first visited the Dry Tortugas around that same time camping and fishing with his father. In 2021, he and a friend were chosen for a National Parks Arts Foundation artist residency in the Dry Tortugas on Loggerhead Key. His proposal for the residency pitched the idea of capturing images to create a book, and that book is now out. "Dry Tortugas: Stronghold of Nature" was published last month by University Press of Florida. It features about 200 of his photographs along with essays by people with intimate knowledge of the park who explore its history, culture, and environment.

To top off a sh**pile of a day, 50 mins into Episode 33, our computer fails us and we lose the entire show and and had to start over so, a sleepless night goes without saying. Mike had a prior engagement and Tina stepped it and was great. We pushed through with the odds against us and, BA-BAM, we pushed through adversity and completed the comback walk-off win. “Close my eyes, she's somehow closer now / Softly smile, I know she must be kind / When I look in her eyes / She goes with me to a blossom world” The lyrics to the iconic Beach Boys song “Good Vibrations,” penned in part by Mike Love, are likely about a woman from long ago. But they could just as easily be about the flavors and sensations from his brand new rum, Club Kokomo Spirits. We had Love in-house along with his children who work for the spirits company to chat all things San Diego, award-winning rum, and good vibes on this week's Happy Half Hour. Also joining us was Geoff Longenecker of Seven Caves, the brand's distiller, who was shaking up mojitos for us in real-time. In case you aren't already aware, he's one of the preeminent spirits distillers in San Diego. “It's pretty damn good, isn't it?” Love whispered loudly to me, leaning in as he sipped. Indeed. Both Love and The Beach Boys have a storied history in San Diego. They shot the Pet Sounds album cover at the San Diego Zoo. They played countless concerts at the Rady's Shell, Del Mar Fairgrounds, and what was formerly Jack Murphy Stadium; Mike Love used to live in Rancho Santa Fe (where his daughter went to Cathedral Catholic); and, of course, the fact that it's distilled right here. Love's aspirations started years ago when he was enjoying a “perfect” mojito in New York with his wife, Jacquelyne, while humming the chorus of his co-authored hit song, “Kokomo.” His penchant for wordplay took over as he uttered the word “Kokomojito,” and ever since, Mike's dream has been to share the spirit of Kokomo with the world, he says.
