Diane Wagg is chair of the MMF, the largest artist management organisation in the world. Earlier in her career, Diane was Director of record producer Tony Visconti’s group of companies for five years. She managed Visconti’s Good Earth Recording Studios in London (clients included Duran Duran, George Michael, U2, the Sisters of Mercy, Altered Images and the Stranglers). Holly Manners & Harriet Moss are two incredibly accomplished women with many projects on the go. Patrick Ross, director of digital strategy at Music Ally who focus on the digital trends in the music industry. They then educate people from indie labels to the majors to Google and Facebook about how best to utilise digital when it comes to marketing. Patrick joined music ally after having been the VP of digital marketing at Kobalt music. Prior to that he was head of digital marketing at AWAL. Caroline Elleray is the head of A&R at one of the largest music publishing companies in the world, Universal Music Publishing whose roster includes Florence and the machine, Adele & Haim. Caroline started her career at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, where bands such as Happy Mondays and New Order recorded. She spent some time managing before moving over to publishing where one of her earliest signings was Coldplay. Shes also signed Keane, Mumford & Sons and been closly involved with the signings of Bastille, The XX, Disclosure, Rae Morris and Dua Lipa. She is widely regarded as one of the most artist friendly and well liked A&R’s in the business who has achieved success time and again. A really honest conversation about how publishing has evolved and that quality that every successful artist seems to have coming directly from someone who’s passion for music is undeniable.
Claire Singers, an executive coach who specialises in educating people on how to enhance performance at work. She’s very vocal about the diversity issues in the music industry. Before qualifying as an executive coach, Claire was managing director and co-owner of LD Communications, the UK’s leading music and entertainment communications agency. Throughout her time at LD, Claire was recognised as one of the UK’s most experienced PR consultants, working on campaigns for many of the seminal music events such as Live Earth, Live 8, Concert for Diana, and representing the music directors for 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony. She was also publicist to Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, Underworld, Roxy Music and, for 15 years, to David Gilmour.
