Somewhere, in a world far away from Grindr hook-ups, the noise of nightclubs or the gloss of Instagram filters, two best friends (Mitchell from Australia and Goran from Bosnia) sat down to tell each other stories. Their stories. Your stories. The stories of being different, sometimes difficult, alone and adrift from a community they found no place in. You might think the gay experience has been well-documented and told before, but it hasn’t. Not like this. Part heartache, part love letter, maybe even a call to arms for a more loving and inclusive community, these are the voices of the different kind of gay.
