The Eat Your Spanish: A Spanish Learning Podcast for Kids and Families! podcast is absolutely fantastic! It has become a favorite in our household, and my three children cannot get enough of it. Even though my oldest is already fluent in Spanish, he still enjoys listening to the podcast and following along with the stories featuring Elephant and Mouse. The songs are a big hit with all of the kids as well. It's so refreshing to find a Spanish learning podcast that is fun, interactive, and enjoyable for children of all language levels.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how it makes learning Spanish enjoyable and light-hearted. My child is in a dual language program at school, and sometimes learning Spanish can feel tedious. However, this podcast manages to make the process fun by incorporating engaging stories, games, and music. We love listening to it while running errands or during long drives. It has become a staple in our daily routine.
Another great aspect of this podcast is that it caters to children learning Spanish in an age-appropriate way. Evan and Vanessa do an excellent job tailoring the content to young learners and making sure it is both educational and entertaining. As a parent, I really appreciate this app because I want to expose my child to as much Spanish as possible during their early years. The songs are catchy and helpful, especially with the English and Spanish versions together. They also include natural conversations in Spanish to teach both grammar and vocabulary.
In terms of drawbacks, there really aren't many. This podcast has been a game-changer for us when it comes to introducing Spanish words and reinforcing language skills with our children. It has proven to be incredibly effective in teaching them new words and phrases in just a few weeks of consistent listening.
