This week on The American Family Farmer, host Doug Stephan welcomes Warren Eckstein, Pet Behaviorst and Host of The Pet Show. The discussion starts off dispelling the false concept that animals don't share many of the emotions humans have, but also the beautiful friendship and comradely we have with our animal friends and animal family members. This week on the American Family Farmer, host Doug Stephan is joined by internationally renowned pet behaviorist Warren Eckstein to talk about how to keep your animals safe and healthy during extreme heat. From simple solutions like shade and clean water to advanced cooling strategies, Warren shares practical, humane tips every farmer can implement. He also breaks down the critical early warning signs of heatstroke in animals and what to do if your livestock or pets are at risk. Alexandra C. Melo (PhD) is a Homeopath and Microbiologist (PhD) practicing in London and worldwide online. Following her PhD in King's College London in Applied Microbiology and subsequent Post Doctoral position at Glaxosmithkline she embarked on a quest of finding the optimal approach to health. She has found the Homeopathic approach to be most complete, bringing real and lasting health benefits as it focuses on the cause of disease, rather than just the superficial removal or suppression of symptoms. She loves homeopathy, because it focuses on the study of Nature! Given her academic background, she thoroughly enjoyed embarking on the most incredible learning journey; the healing secrets of the energetic contents of every substance on this planet, everything is a clue, every substance can be curative. There is the structure initiated by the mineral Kingdom, the sensitivity of plants in the Vegetal Kingdom, the competitiveness of the animal Kingdom and the liberation of stuck, deep miasmic states that the nosodes allow. Since she was a child, she always loved children and animals (particularly horses and dogs). Whilst living in Greece became involved with many rescue operations and as a horse lover and rider my interest fell particularly on horses, dogs, amongst other animals. Children's health is one of the most concerning aspects of parenthood. Although homeopathy works well in variety of diseases, it has special affinity for childhood problems. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.”Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don't ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.” She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. 6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one." Join the Facebook Group: All Things Very CariNOW ON YOUTUBEIn this episode, Cari delves into the powerful parables of Luke 15: the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. These timeless stories reveal God's immense love for His people and His relentless pursuit of those who are lost. Cari explores the deep meaning behind each parable, discussing themes of repentance, redemption, and the joy in heaven over every sinner who turns back to God. Whether you've felt distant from God or need a reminder of His love, this episode is an invitation to reflect on His grace and His desire to bring you home.Verses:Luke 15:11-23 - Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.' So he divided his property between them.“Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father's hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.' So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Whether you relate to Martha's busyness or long for Mary's peace, this episode offers practical insights to align your heart with His presence.Verses: Luke 10:38-42 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”URHERE Information- www.verycaripodcast.com/urhereConnect with Cari:Instagram: instagram.com/carithompsonrnFacebook: www.facebook.com/cari.ayres.3Website: VeryCariPodcast.com

NOW ON YOUTUBEIn this powerful episode, Cari unpacks the meaning of "running for the fence"—breaking free from the self-imposed limitations and fears that hold us back. Through personal stories and spiritual insights, Cari encourages listeners to leave behind the safety of their comfort zones and step boldly into the purpose God has for their lives. Whether it's overcoming fear, doubt, or old habits, this episode will inspire you to trust in God's plan and run toward the freedom He offers. Are you ready to break free and run for the fence?Verses:Hebrews 12:1-2:Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.JAMES 1:2-4:Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.1 Chronicles 16:11: Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.Hebrews 10:36: You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.2 Thessalonians 3:14: Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed.Galatians 6:9: Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.ROMANS 5:3-5: Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.1 Timothy 12-17 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.URHERE Information- www.verycaripodcast.com/urhereConnect with Cari:Instagram: instagram.com/carithompsonrnFacebook: www.facebook.com/cari.ayres.3Website: VeryCariPodcast.com
