Liam works widely as a speaker and participant co-creator of learning communities, workshops, and seminars, small and large. On occasion, Liam's spouse, Diana, and Dodi, the family dog, travel with him—especially, when doing this work involves going to new and interesting places.

She writes about how it is difficult for many of us to deal with someone else's sadness or emotional distress and lists the following discussion questions. Have you ever felt unheard, or that others failed to acknowledge the validity of your emotions? How did you respond? Have there been times when you failed to respond lovingly to someone else's hurt? How could you do better next time?What can you do to make yourself, your family, your church, or other group a safe place for sharing vulnerable feelings.

People's spirits can be uplifted… It's the holiday season and I know that this time brings a wide array of varied emotion.  My encouraging thoughts for today are that you play some music, or sing a song… whether its to you and your household… or you decide to be a caroler for your neighborhood….Remember that you have joy and love within your hearts… Your very presence and being is more than enough. Your voice, Y-o-u matter…
