Today's episode is a bit of an experiment. The question: How easy would it be to record my ideas onto my iPhone? I have a friend, Jamie Bright, who records her private podcast episodes directly onto her iPhone. She's been encouraging me to start dictating my ideas as a potentially easier and faster way to capture them. I thought I'd have a go so I hit the red button and recorded a story. After I had finished recording I wondered how easy it would be to upload that into Descript so that I could create a transcript. It was super easy. As I was listening back to my recording I realised that although it was pretty bad quality the content was kinda ok. I've heard podcasts where the sound quality was worse than this. It then crossed my mind that maybe I should do a quick edit, add a beginning and an end though and some music, publish it simply and see what you think. So this is it. This is me deciding to get over myself and ‘put it out there' regardless of how perfect (or not) it is. I'm doing this for two reasons. Because I want to challenge myself to get over myself, do hard things and move forward regardless, and Because I want to encourage you to do the same. I want to encourage you to take your Next Tiny Step, beat The Resistence and move forward. I'd love to know your thoughts. To send me a message Click Here.
