Our new series looks at how we begin to find our place and connect with others. Today we look at Finding Our Place in the Church. We look at how God has chosen us and appointed relationships and a place for us so we will bear fruit.

Starting fresh is a daily decision. To be truly successful on our fresh start, we need to walk in the Spirit and walk with friends who will encourage us along the way.

The foundation for our fresh start is standing firmly on the promises of God. These promises can come to us in several ways, but we need to write them down, speak them aloud, and get them deep in our hearts.

We cannot be weighed down by what is behind us, but we must press forward to receive what God has for us. If you've been weighed down, pressed down, or held yourself back… it's time to shake it off and step up to God's best for your life.

The Christian life is one of ongoing transformation. When life derails our progress, we need God's grace for a fresh start. As we put our hope in Him, we should get excited about where He will take us!

God can, and will use every situation to mold our character to fit our calling. Although your current circumstances may not look like they fit God's call on your life, do not be discouraged… God is at work!

Elijah faithfully followed God, but he still experiences low moments. God showed Elijah how to defeat moments of discouragement, and we can learn this lesson by examining his life.

Jonathan is an often-overlooked hero, but he demonstrates for us the principle of Kingdom Friendships.

In Marriage, God brings two individuals into union as a couple. This is a supernatural work of God. But often, many people come into their relationship bringing baggage and brokenness are not able to bring much to give to their spouse. The gospel of Jesus Christ wants to make each of us whole so we can bring health into our marriage.

Communication is a key area in building a strong marriage that reflects Jesus' love and unity with us, His bride. We look at a few ways husbands and wives can communicate to bring life into their relationship.

In the Old Testament, God's people demonstrated God's heart by praying for the peace and prosperity of Babylon. In the New Testament, the believers needed to do the same for Rome. In both of these examples we see God's heart that we pray for the world around us to prosper.

Scripture commands us to be generous to others. But, what does that mean? This week we look at what it means to follow our Lord and use his resources to build His Kingdom.

Mike Floyd, an elder at Grace, shares a message on honoring God through the tithe. God brings the Comforter into our lives and rebukes the devourer as we release God's tithe to the proper place and with the proper heart. Through this act of obedience, His true riches are released.

We begin our series on living intentionally as a follower of Jesus by looking at the cost of being a disciple and the outpouring of God's blessings in our lives as we learn to listen and obey in faith His commands.

This week we wrap up our Prayer and Fasting focus with a message on Community. As the community of God, we are called to take care of each other. God also has blessed us with resources to reach others.

Pastor Mike Rod joins us this week as we learn how to overcome the voices that separate us from our true source of help.

Our focus this week in our time of prayer and fasting is asking God for the resources we need to accomplish His calling in our lives. We look at some practical steps in how God wants to release His blessing in and through us.

We are to imitate the walk of Jesus, which will produce the life in us and others that He had. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is pivotal in the life of Christians. Fasting is an act of humility and recognition that we need God to move in our lives to accomplish what He has purposed for us.The result is a deeper intimacy with God, renewal of our vision, and increased faith.

God's words are the only thing that never changes. As we approach this season of seeking God, we hope you are encouraged to listen intently to God speak to your heart and hold heavily onto whatever He says.

God is a mighty warrior... And he stands behind you as you face life day-to-day. Hear Pastor Jim share this aspect of Jesus and his strength.
