Matthew 16:16; Mark 14:71 No Christian has ever instantly backslid. It is a process that occurs over a period of time. The same was true with Peter. As one that strove to be in stride with Christ, he never thought he would end up denying Jesus in his life. You may be in the same shoes as Peter today. You may have even said you'd never backslide on God or get out of God's will, yet here you are. But, as the story of Peter, it doesn't have to remain that way. Revelation 3:14-22 Part 2 of this message begins to deal with the dangers not only relinquished within ourselves but to others, and even the world also. Growing cold begins to affect everything around us to the point we can become a stumbling block and rendered useless. Revelation 3:14-22 Growing cold is a dangerous area to enter as a Christian. It never happens over night. It is a slow process that eventually causes us to drift far from the presence of God. I strongly believe no truly saved individual has ever deliberately grown cold on God. It typically stems from weaknesses and poor spiritual habits that can progress in one's life. Ephesians 2:1 We serve a living God! Let that sink in. Many people don't fully recognize the fact that Jesus Christ is alive and well, not only in our hearts but on the throne as well. Genesis 42:23,24 Repentance is a precious work. It takes true repentance to get saved and, as born-again believers, we must continually repent of our flesh to stay in relation with God. But some people feel they can achieve the ultimate Christian life without seeking repentance. Unfortunately, that is a misconception that has trickled down through the years of mankind. Job 3:20-26 Fear is a destroyer of lives. Millions of people will never do what God wants them to do or achieve the most in life due to one thing: FEAR. As God's people, we must understand that we should fear no man or circumstance, no matter how devastating the force may be. Fear can be FUEL rather than FATAL. Colossians 4:12,13 As a Christian, the will of God is the most important guideline for our entire lives. Proverbs 6:6-9; Proverbs 30:24-26 The ant is one of the smallest visible creatures on Earth. We know them more as pests than anything else, but in scripture God tells us to consider the ant. You may feel like a number today and not special by anyone but God knows you're special.

Proverbs 10:25 Foundation is key in life. From birth, it is essential to have the correct upbringing so that character can be build and moral foundation can be laid. 1 Timothy 6:12 The Christian life isn't a cake walk, it's a fight. Nowhere in scripture does it say we'll have it easy as God's children. Instead, we are instructed by Paul to fight the GOOD FIGHT. The truth is that SIN IS SIN. Sinners are guilty of the entire penalty of sin, not just a portion. But why is it that some sins are acceptable and blended into every day life to the extent that it seems sinful not to commit them?
