SGA President Brandon Horne and Ms. Nala Anderson of the Jaguar Activity Board took time to give insight on what it takes to plan behind the scenes. They also answered questions students had regarding the homecoming process. Laila and Austin shared what they enjoyed during homecoming week!

DeBrandin sits down with Dr. Christy Garrison and graduate school student Leilonni Robinson to get a first person perspective on the graduate school experience for current Jags. They also shared FAQ's for undergrads looking to expand their academic resumes in the future.
In this weeks episode, Laila, Isaiah, and Kam touch on their opinions regarding students addressing complaints within Southern on social media. On campus Southern has gone viral in both a negative and positive light. From falling through the roof to bounce music being made in the union, Southern is watched by thousands. Should students have the freedom to release their on campus complaints on social media ? Social media has given us the power to address our issues in the eyes of the public. The voice we carry must be used with purpose.
This weeks episode covers the the importance of mental health in the Black community. It is important to understand the value of our mental health. There is a negative stigma towards the acknowledgement of mental health issues in the Black community for far too long. Students Laila, Jazmine, and Jenna break down tips and truths regarding the effects of college and their mental health. Developing yourself into a functioning adult is not easy as a college student, listen to this episode with an open mind and honest heart.
This weeks episode covered the theme of Black History month on the Bluff. The theme of this semester is "Black Love". Students Eric and Laila sat down with the creator. Darby Smith gave the audience the overall message she would like the students to gain over the countless events planned for our students. She took the time to break down the meaning behind her vision and dropped some great advice on how to survive college.
