On this week's episode of the podcast, we chat about what happened in Corrie between the 25th and the 29th May (Episodes #11,864 - 11,868). There's a new guy in town, and in keeping with seemingly all of Corrie's new additions to the cast recently, he's a bit of a git! Idris schmoozed his way into Weatherfield this week, and it didn't take long for Leanne to fall for his roguish charms - just how long will it take for her to find out he's not quite as 'chill' as he first appears? Also this week, Daniel loses control after Truthteller's trolling intensifies, Ben worries that Megan's left Will seriously damaged, and Tyrone's got a secret that could set Summer free... but will he risk his own arrest by revealing what he knows about the night Theo died? Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, where we take a first look at the scheduling chaos in store for Corrie once the World Cup starts, and we round off the podcast with more of your feedback on the recent goings on in Weatherfield. Owner Financing & Note Investing Podcast with Dawn Rickabaugh
Dawn Rickabaugh welcomes Tim Street of Foolproof FSBO for a wide-ranging conversation about real estate, entrepreneurship, financial uncertainty, and personal freedom. Tim shares exciting news about purchasing a luxury property in Panama to expand his Airbnb portfolio internationally. They discuss current housing market trends, economic instability, seller financing, and the growing desire for people to take control of their finances and lifestyles outside traditional systems. The discussion also explores spirituality, self-sufficiency, media influence, and the future of real estate as more people embrace creative financing and for-sale-by-owner strategies.
On the latest episode of Conversation Street, we chat about all the Corrie drama between the 18th and the 22nd May 2026 (Episodes #11,859 - 11,864). This week's Corrie had a major focus on Summer, who'd been doing a pretty good job of flying under the radar since the wedding episode despite viewers knowing that she was one of the last people to see him alive. Thanks to a few pieces of compelling evidence, the police haul her in for questioning this week and by the end of Friday's episode she's being charged with murder - but just why is Tyrone keeping quiet about her evidence, and what exactly is Christina still hiding? Also this week, Jodie continues to play her manipulative game with Daniel, Maggie begins to worm her way back into the Rovers and Roy's Rolls has its not so grand reopening. Up next, it's The Kabin, and we check out who has - and possibly more importantly this year! - has not been nominated for an NTA, and we round off the show with more of your listener feedback. On this week's podcast, we chat about everything that went on in Weatherfield between the 11th and the 15th May (Episodes #11,854 - 11,858) It's been a long time coming, but Tim finally got that chat with Will this week, convincing the lad not only to admit that the rumours about him and Megan were true, but also to report her to the police - but is there enough evidence to put her away for good? Meanwhile, Sam's hallucinations take an even darker turn when he thinks he overhears Nick and Toyah talking about him and receives a visit from a deeply sinister and uncanny Roy. Just what will this devil on his shoulder persuade him to do next? Also this week, Maggie drops a bombshell on Ben when she's forced to confess what really happened the night his father died, Summer reveals she's been offered a university place in America, and Daniel strikes up an unexpected friendship with Jodie. In The Kabin segment, we're joined by John from Corriepedia, who chats about some remarkable discoveries made this week about Corrie's 1960 dry runs, and we finish off the show with more of your fabulous feedback. In this week's podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 4th and the 8th May (Episodes #11,849 - 11,853). The murder victim has finally revealed, and we can finally all stop speculating about who's going to croak - and move on to who actually dunnit. Corrie's already revealed their suspect lineup, and this week, we get to see how they act in the immediate aftermath of Theo's body being found. In the case of George, Todd and Christina, we can all agree that they very likely had nothing to do with it, and although there's definitely still something Gary's keeping quiet about, we can't imagine it was him either. There's also the question that none of the other characters are asking yet (since they don't know she was there) - what went down between Summer and Theo in the moments before he was bashed on the bonce, and why hasn't she told anyone she was in the flat with him? Despite all this, our prime suspect is still Miles - or at a push, his mum Danielle. Let's see how the coming weeks unfold and maybe our minds will be changed, eh? Just a tiny Kabin segment this week as we get very excited about the news that Julie Hesmondhalgh will be taking part in the next series of Celebrity Traitors, and we round off the show by hearing about more of your thoughts and theories on Murder Week in the feedback section. Our latest episode of the podcast covers Corrie's much hyped Murder Week, which ran between the 27th April and the 1st May (Episodes #11,844 - 11,848). Well there we go, then! After months of speculation, it's finally been revealed that the body Betsy found after her mum's wedding belonged to none other than the scummy, scheming scaffolder himself, Theo! At last, we no longer have to keep the victim's identity a secret, and not only can we chat about what we think about it being him (and not Megan, as we'd previously been so certain about!), we can also share a few more details about what it was like watching snippets of this week's episodes at last month's press day. We absolutely loved Corrie this week, from the unexpected twists to the single thread episode format - and we didn't even mind the more filming look or soundtrack in places either! (Not only that, but Michael even has something that could be construed as complimentary about the fireworks on Tuesday's episode too!) An absolute banger of a week, and we had so much fun talking about it, the Street Talk segment itself managed to last nearly four hours.. Needless to say, we didn't really have the energy for anything else after this, especially as there was so much listener feedback to get through, but worry ye not - a feedback focused extra podcast will be recorded in the next couple of days, so do be sure to send in your thoughts!
On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown between the 19th and the 23rd April (Episodes #11,839 - 11,843) The date every Corrie fan has been waiting for over the past couple of months has finally arrived - and whether you were tuning in for marriage or murder, anticipation was high ahead of Thursday's trip to Weatherfield. Of course, viewers remain just as much in the dark about who meets their maker, but with a couple of new suspects emerging this week - along with even more motives - there's still plenty to theorise about. As for the wedding, this was our second viewing after being lucky enough to catch a sneak preview at the Corrie press day, and our opinions on the episode did actually change on a repeat viewing - for the better, we might add! It's a jam packed Street Talk this week, and we can't wait to find out what happens next! In The Kabin, we find out how the Corrie alumni fared in the I'm A Celebrity final and find out what new additions have been made to the Coronation Street Experience exhibit this weekend, then we finish things off with more of your lovely feedback. On this week's podcast, we take a look at what went on in Weatherfield between the 10th and the 17th April 2026 (Episodes #11,832 - 11,837) Although on the whole we felt like this was another good week Corrie, it still demonstrated to us the very highs and very lows of what the show can deliver nowadays. On the one hand, you have an embarrassing 'fire' at Roy's Rolls that was achieved with not even a flicker of a flame and just a load of very CGI-looking smoke; on the other, you have Wednesday's exemplary single thread episode that followed Todd and his friends as he finally broke free of Theo's control and went to the police after another terrible beating. Props to everyone involved there, and we really do hope that the smiling Todd we enjoyed at the end of the week is the one we'll be seeing a lot more of in the coming weeks and months - he deserves it! Also this week, Carl discovers another potential source of cash, Jodie puts her stolen warrant card to use and Ben continues to be at loggerheads with Maggie. In the Kabin, we take a look abut how some ex-Corrie cast have been getting on in I'm A Celeb, and we round off the show with a bumper crop of your fantastic feedback. We're up in Manchester again at the moment with a couple of busy days ahead of us, so we've had to record early this week, covering the episodes of running from Sunday 5th to Thursday 9th April (Episodes #11,828 - 11,832). There's a huge Easter bombshell for Steve and Ben this week as Maggie drops the news that they're half-brothers. Both men are left reeling, but it's Ben who's hit hardest, immediately fearing what it could mean for his own health - has he inherited his newly discovered da's condition? In fact, medical drama is everywhere you look this week (though, refreshingly for Corrie, not a hospital scene in sight!). Sam appears to be in the grip of a serious mental health crisis whilst Debbie undergoes an MRI scan that confirms her dementia is worsening. Elsewhere, klepto Jodie adds yet another item to her growing stash, Tim decides it's time to confront Tricia, and Theo walks in on Todd and Sarah together at the flat - but what fallout lies ahead for poor Todd? Another slow news week this week, but still plenty of feedback, so we round off the episode with another rummage through the virtual mailbag! Street Talk - 00:09:32 Feedback - 02:32:50

On our Eastery edition of the podcast, we take a look back at what egg-citing adventures the residents of Weatherfield got up to between the 29th March and the 3rd April (Episodes #11,823 - 11,827). Corrie was back on fine form again this week thanks to the Driscoll story continuing to move at a good pace - and with Will now thinking his grandma's responsible for the death of his unborn baby and Ben now questioning his own parentage after an unfortunate slip of the tongue from his ma, Maggie could well be in the firing line when April 23rd comes around... Meanwhile, the penny finally drops for Gary that there was maybe something a bit off about last week's wedding ceremony, and he leaves Theo in no doubt that he's onto him. Also this week, a ruckus in the prison earns Lou some time in solitary, George's day in court arrives and Jodie cancels Bethany's date behind her back - what exactly is she up to..? Another quiet week on the news front means there's no Kabin, but there's plenty of feedback to get through so we end the podcast with more of your thoughts on recent Corrie. Street Talk - 00:15:22 Feedback - 02:59:58
Will's clearly still in denial, Mal makes an offer most vile, and Theo takes Todd up the aisle! With no Friday Corrie this week, we're coming at you early with this episode of the podcast, covering the 23rd to the 26th March trips to Weatherfield (Episodes #11,819 - 11,822). After last week's heavy Driscoll focus, this week's action mainly favoured the Theo and Todd story, and whilst many viewers may well have forgotten that their wedding had been planned for this week, Theo clearly hadn't, and managed to weedle his was back into Todd's affections just in time. And what a peculiar wedding it was! On the one hand, you've got Corrie making out that this is a serious story about coercive control and abusive relationships; on the other, you've got comedy incompetent registrar and Gary and Maria obliviously cheering on from the sidelines despite major red flags? We certainly had a lot to unpack here! Also on the cobbles this week, a paranoid Sam chucks away his mobile phone, Mal makes an indecent proposal to Bernie, and Carla and Lisa struggle with babysitting duties for Connie. After a quick news section where we cover Corrie's recent Bafta nod, we finish things off with more of your feedback. Street Talk - 00:11:14 The Kabin - 02:39:21 Feedback - 02:41:55
On our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about all the Corrie drama between the 16th and the 20th March (Episodes #11,814 - 11,818). And what a week it was! Like many Corrie fans, we were pretty sceptical of the grooming plot line when it first kicked off last November - did the new family at the helm of the Rovers really need something as grubby and controversial as this as their establishing story? This week, however, when Sam finally confessed his suspicions, when Daniel discovered that Megan was pregnant - and likely with Will's baby - and when the Battersby sisters and the Driscolls united to bring her down... quite frankly, we were gripped from start to finish! Not that it's finished yet, of course - April 23rd is still over a month away... Elsewhere on the Street, Mal finally woke up and definitely seemed like he knew more than he was letting on to Kit about his attack, Adam's refusal to drop Jackie as a client led to the company's emails being leaked, and Theo continued to try and worm his way back into Todd's life - could next week's planned wedding still go ahead? In a brief Kabin segment, we take a look at who from Corrie has been nominated in this year's TRIC Awards and round things off with more of your listener feedback. Street Talk - 00:11:54 The Kabin - 02:59:34 Feedback - 03:04:49
On this week's show, we talk about the episodes of Corrie shown between the 9th and the 13th March (Episodes #11,809 - 11,813) After weeks of speculation and theorising (and one heck of a lot of dramatic facial expressions from Maggie), the truth about Jim's secret affair - and, presumably, Ben's parentage - came to light this week. Although we're not so keen on yet another revision to a long-established character's back story, we can't deny loving the drama, and the interweaving of Ben's heart condition with Jim's own medical issues was cleverly done. Elsewhere on the street, Theo called time on his relationship with Todd - but do any of us really expect it to last? Also this week, tensions between Sam and Megan ramp up, Amy has a disastrous date with Ollie, and there's much ado about a doo-doo when Jodie engages in foul play with Adam. Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, where we weigh in on recent rumours of pay cuts for cast members in the light of episode number reductions, and we round off the the show with more of your feedback. Street Talk - 00:15:36 The Kabin - 02:57:26 Feedback - 03:18:58
This podcast covers the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 2nd and the 5th March (Episodes #11,806 - 11,809). We're feeling pretty smug this week as one of our predictions for 2026 has already come true: the arrival of Mandy's baby at the Connor-Swain residence! And colour us surprised: we actually really enjoyed the scenes too! Could Carla and Lisa actually be in for that rare thing in soaps - a bit of happiness? (Or at least before that dead body puts a dampener on their wedding day...) Bad news for fans of Jim McDonald, though, the big man himself has said cheerio now for the final time and gone to that big pub in the sky, so he has - and we seem tantalisingly close to discovering whether that theorised link between him and Maggie is true too... Also this week, baby Harper goes under the knife, Lou gets beaten up in prison and Todd struggles to buy Theo a birthday present. Another news-light week this week, so we skip over The Kabin segment and finish things off with more of your listener feedback. Street Talk - 00:13:15 Feedback - 02:22:31

On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 23rd and the 27th February (Episodes #11,801 - 11,805). This week on the cobbles, the Mal storyline kicked up a gear as Bernie's unwanted admirer crossed the line from irritating nuisance to full-on physcho stalker – only to end up in intensive care after a brutal attack by an unknown assailant. In true Weatherfield fashion, Bernie is wrongfully arrested, though it's soon revealed that that it was Kit who bonked him on the head. With a tenacious colleague sniffing around the case, could DC Green's career now be hanging in the balance? Elsewhere on the street, a little more of Jodie's mysterious past comes to light when a young girl who she seemingly nannied for once show up to meet her - plus we see another item added to her secret box of trinkets... Meanwhile, Steve learns that his dad has been taken into hospital, George worries that a string of blunders at the undertaker's could damage the business's reputation, and the spark between Ollie and Lauren is swiftly extinguished following an intervention from Maggie. Up next on the podcast, it's The Kabin, and we weigh in on some candid comments from Maureen Lipman and Sally Ann Matthews about the state of the show at the moment, all of which is pretty timely in the wake of Iain MacLeod's interview last week! We round off the show with more of your feedback. Street Talk - 00:13:44 The Kabin - 02:38:44 Feedback - 03:00:46
On our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about the goings on in Weatherfield between the 16th and the 20th February (Episodes #11,795 - 11,800). This week saw the much anticipated flash-forward episode of Corrie, which gave us a sneak peek into the future and Betsy's discovery of a dead body. Exactly who is the victim, though, and who could be responsible for causing their untimely demise? Also this week, Carl reveals to Ronnie the truth about his newly discovered relationship with Debbie, and we learn about his plans to burn down the hotel for the insurance money too - will Debbie realise what he's really capable of before it's too late? Elsewhere on the cobbles, Sam turns amateur detective in a bid to catch Megan and Will out, Lily starts her paper round at The Kabin, and Maggie grows uneasy over Ben's budding friendship with Steve. Could we be about to learn exactly what she found in Ken's cupboard? After Street Talk, we take quite a lengthy visit to The Kabin as we've got a fair bit to say about some recent news items. First, we react to the news that The British Soap Awards have once again been cancelled, and that's followed by our thoughts on Iain Macleod's recent appearance on the This Is Media City podcast, in which he previews some upcoming production changes to the show that it seems a lot of fans really aren't happy about... On our latest podcast, we discuss the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 9th and the 13th February (Episodes #11,790 - 11,794) This week, we meet Jodie and Shona's dad, Doug, though he's confined to his bed and certainly not in a good state of mind - though he's still lucid enough to know his youngest daughter's a wrong 'un. We're loving the mystery around this family, and Jodie's curious box of knickknacks has us wondering all sorts about what she's been up to! Also this week, Sam gets in touch with the Weatherfield drugs wizard when he hears that Ritalin can be used as a study aid - but is this a little too out of character for him? Also this week, Theo returns from his mum's, Mal proves himself to a a definite stalkery weirdo, and Debbie is assigned a prison buddy - and it's someone we were very happy to see again! As much as we wanted to carry on with the podcast after this and discuss the cancellation of the BSAs, unfortunately Michael wasn't feeling too well at all, so we called it a day after Street Talk - so you'll just have to wait a little longer to hear our thoughts on the British Soap Awards' cancellation!

On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown between the 2nd and the 6th February (Episodes #11,787 - 11,789). Thanks to a couple of sporting events on Tuesday and Thursday, this week's helping of Coronation Street was almost as short as Kevin's temper. However, with Wednesday's Webster-focused episode featuring the big reveal to Carl that Debbie is actually his mum, there was still plenty for us to discuss! The pair of us actually had quite different opinions on that episode too, so it was pretty fun debating what did and didn't work for us! Also this week, a rooftop intervention from Abi leaves Kevin with new perspective on life (and Brian with a sore head!), Todd struggles to cope with no food and no money, and Jodie intrigues us with a mysterious box of trinkets... Up next on the podcast, it's The Kabin, where we discuss some streaming stats from ITVX and get a little overexcited at the prospect of an upcoming Audience With Helen Worth event, then we finish things off with more of your listener feedback. On our latest podcast, we take a look at the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 26th and the 30th January 2026 (Episodes #11,782 - 11,786). Definitely a bit of a divisive week, this one, with opinions all over the place online about Billy's funeral and Bernie's subsequent getting off her cake, as she put it. Even the pair of us felt quite differently to each other about how Wednesday's episode went down, with Gemma praising the writing and direction whilst Michael didn't think it quite did enough to honour Billy's time in the show amongst the Carl vs Theo drama. Speaking of which, we chat for quite a bit this week about who we'd prefer to ultimately see come on top there, and how much Theo is actually in control of what he's doing. One thing we both agreed on, though - which seemingly a sizeable chunk of Corrie fans online disagreed with - was that Thursday's Bernie-centric saga was fantastic, plus we were both very chuffed to see Sam back on centre stage on Monday's episode - and think that Megan will prove to be quite a force for him to reckon with! Another fairly news-lite week saw us skipping The Kabin again, so after Street Talk, we head straight to the feedback section for more of your fabulous emails. On this week's podcast, we chat about what happened in Corrie between the 19th and the 23rd January (Episodes #11,777 - 11,781). This week, Megan revealed to Will that she's carrying his baby - and rather than running a mile (and not just in the athletics sense!), Will doubles down on his commitment to the secret affair. But is Megan REALLY that into him, and what will the revelation that Will isn't the first boy she's had a relationship with change things? Meanwhile, Lisa and Carla got back together on Wednesday, but what did we make of the speed that everything fell back into place for them? Also this week, Jodie continues to spin the truth about her past to Shona, a gullible Tyrone falls for Carl's lies and we discover that Roy's phone friend may not be quite who they seem... It was another week without much in the way of Corrie news this week, so we gave The Kabin a miss again, but we still had plenty of emails to delve into in the feedback segment. On our latest podcast, we have a chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 12th and the 16th January (Episodes #11,773 - 11,776). It's been the theory on everyone's lips for a few months now, but this week, it was finally revealed that Debbie is indeed Carl's mother and not his sister, as we had previously believed. Will this be a secret she takes to her grave, or is it only a matter of time before it all comes out - and does it change how we think of her and Bill Webster having lied about Carl's parentage all these years? Not only that, but does it really mean she should be taking the rap for him when it comes to Billy's death (especially when we know that John Sugden and Theo are much more to blame than either Debbie or Carl!)? Also this week, Daniel gets a shock when he thinks that he's about to become a dad again, Jodie gets her feet well under the table at Number 8, and we say bye bye to Becky, who's sentenced to twelve years in prison - but there are still more than a few questions we want answers to with this story! Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, where we get more than a little excited about the news that Sally Ann Matthews will be taking over a role in the Steps musical next week, starting in our home town of Southampton (tickets booked!) and we round off the podcast with more of your thoughts on Todd, Maggie and Corriedale in the feedback section. On our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about all the action in Weatherfield (and beyond!) between the 5th and the 9th January 2026 (Episodes #11,767 - 11,772). It's the telly event we've been waiting for for a year now - an explosive crossover between Corrie and Emmeradale as two worlds collide and an almighty pile-up in the Pennines. We already gave our immediate reaction to Corriedale earlier this week, but what did we make of the episode leading up to it, and did the quality continue for the rest of the week as Corrie switched to a daily, half hour format? We've got the Platts' new baby to discuss, the prospect of Debbie being sent down for dangerous driving and of course, the aftermath of Theo's chilling actions inside the fiery minibus - what a week! After Street Talk, we head over to the Kabin, where we try our hardest to persuade ourselves that we don't REALLY need the latest piece of Rovers history to make its way onto ITV Reloved as well as previewing a few upcoming Corrie-adjacent events that fans might want to get tickets for. We round off the show with all your feedback on Corriedale. Street Talk - 00:11:48 The Kabin - 03:14:08 Feedback - 03:23:23
On this episode of the podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 29th December and the 2nd January (Episodes #11,759 - 11,766). We're only days away from the big Corriedale crossover now, and this week's trip to Weatherfield saw some of the biggest stories of the year getting all their ducks in a row before whatever fate may befall them on Monday night. Abi's rumbled Carl's plan to do a midnight flit to Dusseldorf while Kev's discovered his involvement in Tyrone's accident, Billy's seen footage showing the full extent of Theo's abuse towards Todd, and the Swains are - finally - set to jet off to Spain - but what has Becky done to Carla? We had an awful lot to chat about all this in the podcast, and a lot to say about how much we adored Debbie's wedding too - what a start to 2026! Unfortunately, Gemma was feeling very under the weather during the recording, so as soon as Street Talk was over, we decided to call it a day there, but there's still plenty of episode before that for you to enjoy!
On our festive edition of the podcast, we have a good old chat about Christmas week in Weatherfield, covering the episodes of Corrie shown between the 22nd and the 26th December (Episodes #11,753 - 11,758). Christmas time is here, and you know what? It just wouldn't be the same without erratic broadcast schedules, cheesy opening music montages and a big old dollop of misery splatting down onto pretty much everyone unfortunate enough to live on Coronation Street. This year saw the showrunners putting most of their rotten eggs in the Driscolls' basket, with a family meal for the Street's newest residents turning pungent thanks to the mean-spirited machinations of manipulative Maggie. Meanwhile, Carla's having a pretty rubbish Christmas too after being kidnapped by Becky, who takes the opportunity to seduce Lisa into bed in her partner's absence - is it all over for Swarla? Also this week, Abi makes a shocking discovery about Carl and James, Sally gives Joanine and Shanice a Christmas Eve to remember and the Platts get a festive message from Gail. Unsurprisingly, there's not really been anything worth reporting on in terms of Corrie news this week, but we've still had plenty of feedback from listeners, so we round off the podcast with that. Street Talk - 00:12:00 Feedback - 03:13:45
On the latest episode of the podcast, we chat about all the drama in Weatherfield between the 15th and the 19th December (Episodes #11,746 - 11,751). It's starting to become a bit of a tradition that the Monday visit to the cobbles is something of a special episode, isn't it? Recently, we've had Debbie's girls' night out, Maggie's flashback, and this week we were treated to director Matt Hilton's 'Behind Closed Doors' ep, a captivating hour of telly where we got to see the full extent of Theo's abuse of Todd via the lenses of in-world cameras - and we were on the edge of our seats from start to finish! Elsewhere on the Street, Dee-Dee definitely got the memo about how to do a speedy, low-key exit - but it might have been nice to have given a bit more consideration to James, don't you think? Also this week, Cassie and Tracy continue to bicker, Sally struggles to parent a mardy teen, and Will and Megan are nearly caught in the act - as are Carl and James! Up next on the podcast, it's The Kabin, where we chat a bit about this week's Corriedale press event, then we round off the show by blasting through some of your fabulous feedback. Street Talk - 00:12:25 The Kabin - 02:17:01 Feedback - 02:38:43
On our latest podcast, we chat about Corrie's 65th anniversary week, the episodes shown between the 8th and the 12th December 2025 (Episodes #11,740 - 11,745) Tell you what - you go nearly 65 years with nary a snifter of a flashback on Coronation Street, and in 2025, two episodes revolving round them have turned up at once. Whilst Kit's earlier this year felt like more of a bigger production, though, this week's look into Maggie's past was far more low key - though the revelation at the end that she's been covering up her involvement in Ben's father's death for all these years has certainly had many viewers looking at her in a different light now! And speaking of non-linear storytelling, was it just us, or did Carla and Lisa's break up on Friday's episode smack of déjà vu? Also this week, Debbie and Ronnie bring their wedding forward to the New Year, and Megan and Will arouse Lauren's suspicions... Up next on the podcast, we take a look at the Corriedale broadcast schedule, and we round things off with more of your listener feedback. Street Talk - 00:11:19 The Kabin - 02:25:01 Feedback - 02:37:14
On this weekend's episode of the podcast, we chat about the goings on in Corrie between the 1st and the 5th December (Episodes #11,735 - 11,739). Well what a joyous trip to Weatherfield that was on Monday! Debbie has been the shining star of Coronation Street this year, and between her empowering speech, her boozed up revelries with her mates and her antics in the Fresco trolley, that really was among her best moments. Meanwhile, things certainly aren't looking quite so colourful in the Corner Shop flat, but does Todd's setting up of surveillance cameras hint that he's a bit more aware of what he's going through than we might have previously believed? Also this week, Megan gets a job at Weathy High, Becky comes close to permanently silencing Costello and Dee-Dee announces she's becoming the latest in a long line of Corrie characters this year to up sticks and emigrate - but how will James take the news? Up next on the podcast, it's the Kabin, where we take a look at the Corrie broadcasting schedule over the festive period. We've then got a bumper feedback section full of listeners' thoughts about the latest Corrie developments, and we round off the show with a Kabin Extra, where we pull apart this week's Corriedale teaser trailer - did it do enough to get us hyped? We have mixed feelings! Street Talk - 00:14:39 The Kabin - 03:00:28 Feedback - 03:10:25 Kabin Extra - 04:00:41
On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 24th and the 28th November (Episodes #11,729 - 11,734). This week, every Swarla fan's worst nightmare comes true as Carla finally walks out on Lisa, her patience with Becky's constant interference pushed beyond breaking point. Lisa's habit of siding with her undead wife certainly isn't a great look - so does she deserve some serious grovelling time in the weeks ahead, or is any of her behaviour even slightly justified? There's more relationship turmoil for Todd and Theo too, as things take a violent turn and a shaken Todd ends up in A&E - still showing no sign of having the strength to walk away from his abusive partner… Also this week, Carl and Ryan clash over who's second in command at the hotel, Chesney catches Fiz sneaking off for some much-needed R&R, and Asha begins to piece her life back together. For this week's Kabin segment, we've tracked down all the places you can see past Corrie cast member in panto this Christmas, and we finish off the show with a spot of feedback. Street Talk - 00:23:44 The Kabin - 02:51:44 Listener Feedback - 03:03:04
On our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 17th and the 21st November (Episodes #11,717 - 11,722). We all saw the fall out with George coming after Theo unplugged poor Todd's phone last week, but for many viewers, it didn't make those scenes at the end of Monday's episode any less heartbreaking. And as for Theo forcing Todd to play the welcoming host to Pete of all people on Wednesday... We've got a lot to say about this story this week for sure! Meanwhile, Carl makes it clear that he sees no future for him and Abi if Alfie is part of the equation - will it soon be time to say Auf Wiedersehen to Kev's brother, and will Abi learn about his liaisons with James before he goes? Also this week, Carla snaps when she thinks that Becky's had her arrested, Sally reckons she's got some dirt on Tricia and Roy reveals he's writing to people in prison - but do we already know the identity of any of his pen pals? Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, and we take a look at the characters that Corrie and Emmerdale fans can pick from to meet up in the crossover. We round off the show with your thoughts on the David and Shona special episode in feedback. Street Talk - 00:16:06 The Kabin - 02:13:51 Feedback - 02:26:14
On this podcast, we talk about all things Corrie that took place between the 3rd and the 7th November (Episodes #11,705 - 11,710). With the grown-up Driscolls' feet already very much under the (incredibly large) Rovers backroom table, this week's trip to Weatherfield saw the arrival of the final member of the clan: runaway son Will, whose disappearance at the start of the week was very much the talk of the pub - but did Corrie do enough to keep viewers who'd never even met the kid before engaged? Meanwhile, Becky continues to refuse to take no for an answer, stepping up her game in her attempts to lure Becky and Lisa back to Spain with her, plus a shady conversation with Costello gives sheds a bit more light on the circumstances surrounding Tia Wardley's demise. Also this week, the identity of Hope's troll is revealed, Carl continues to gaslight Debbie, and Cassie and Tracy are still at each other's throats - is this still entertaining, or is it getting a bit tired by this point? After Street Talk, the Kabin segment sees us bumbling through our initial reactions to the news that ITV is potentially going to be bought out by Sky - a topic that we admittedly don't have the best understanding of, but we do our best to explain the situation and correct a few misconceptions! That's followed by the feedback segment, where we read more of your initial views of the street's latest family. Street Talk - 00:18:09 The Kabin - 02:08:42 Feedback - 02:30:35
On this week's episode of the podcast, we chat about all drama on the cobbles between the 27th and the 31st October (Episodes #11,699 - 11,704) Well, what a week that was! The changing of the guard at the Rovers is always a momentous occasion, but this one truly feels like the start of a fresh era for the show. Eva Price is back - and she's brought her new family with her! You won't be surprised to hear that we've got a lot to say about the new arrivals, and on the whole, we're feeling extremely positive. Elsewhere on the Street, Carla returns from Ireland with the knives out for Becky – but can she get her to back off Lisa before it's too late? Also this week, Hope thinks she's uncovered the identity of her troll, Carl takes the brunt of Kev's anger, and Cassie lands herself a new job. Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, and Jane Danson's hitting back at reports that she's been fired from Corrie. We round things off with some of your feedback - and early reactions to the Driscolls' debut! Street Talk - 00:17:22 The Kabin - 03:07:48 Feedback - 03:15:31
Despite ongoing economic uncertainty and investors' concerns about potential slippage in credit quality, U.S. banks delivered strong third-quarter results that beat expectations across the board. In the episode, Chris Nichols, Director of Capital Markets at South State, discusses third-quarter earnings trends, including the continued resilience of consumer spending, the stabilization of credit quality after several quarters of deterioration, and the unexpected strength in fee income. Nichols and Street Talk host Nathan Stovall dissect the controversy around loans to nondepository financial institutions (NDFI) following several high-profile credit losses, debating whether these incidents represent isolated frauds or canaries in the coal mine. Nichols also highlighted strategic imperatives for banks heading into 2026 and argued that now is the time to rebuild deposit franchises through product innovation and marketing creativity—not rate competition. Nichols and Stovall also explore the reawakening M&A landscape as regulatory headwinds ease and activist investors enter the fray.
On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown between the 20th and the 24th October (Episodes #11,699 - 11,704). Ooh, that Theo - he's a nasty piece of work, isn't he? We've got a lot to discuss about his story with Todd this week, as the unfortunate undertaker finds himself yet again cowering in the kitchen corner, his boyfriend using him as some kind of emotional punchbag. Just how long is it going to be until someone realises what's going on and rescues Todd from the hell he's now living? Also this week, in scenes that had the hardcore Swarla fans seething, Becky presses on with her plan to charm herself back into Lisa's affections - and Lisa shows surprisingly little resistance! Get yourself back to Weatherfield pronto, Carla! Elsewhere, Abi is tempted to steal a car help out her and Carl's financial woes, the Winter-Alahan family self-destructs in the wake of Asha's attempt to take her own life, and things get passionate between Christina and George - despite his failure to get a Stiffy! In The Kabin segment, we chat about the latest additions to William Roache and Barbara Knox's mantlepieces as they both receive lifetime achievement awards, and we we finish off the podcast with a crop of lovely listener feedback. On our 700th episode of the podcast, we share our thoughts on what went on in Corrie between the 29th September and the 3rd October (Episodes #11,681 - 11,686). She's been a firm favourite of the podcast since her 2014 return, but this week we bid a fond farewell to Jenny, who jetted off from Weatherfield to start a new life in Tenerife. We'd known her exit was coming for a while - but was it a send-off worthy of a character of Jenny's calibre, or did it leave us wanting more? Also this week, Todd, Theo and co hit Manchester's Gay Village in some brilliantly directed scenes that exposed a secret from Theo's past - and revealed just how dark he can be. Meanwhile, Debbie discovers the truth about her brother's affair, Bethany makes her return to Weatherfield after yet another career disaster, and Asha considers quitting her paramedic course. Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, where we celebrate Corrie's recent success at the Inside Soap Awards, and we round off the podcast with more of your fabulous feedback. Street Talk - 00:13:55 The Kabin - 02:47:19 Feedback - 03:13:09
On our latest podcast, we have a natter about the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 19th and the 26th September 2025 (Episodes #11,673 - 11,680). It's a bumper Street Talk this week as we dive into four hours of Corrie drama! Things kick off with the Carl and Abi affair, which steps up a gear when Kevin finds himself unceremoniously dumped by his cheating wife. Could the big reveal – and maybe even the end of this saga (please?!) – finally be on the horizon? Elsewhere, in a twist nobody saw coming, Noah suddenly drops dead – but were there suspicious circumstances, and might this tragedy push Theo back into Danielle's arms? Meanwhile, Asha remembers she had a big episode last month that perhaps deserves a follow-up, Becky makes a play to needle her way back into Betsy's life, and Ollie causes intrigue by showing an unexpected interest in Toyah on Friday. Now what on earth could that be about? Up next on the show it's The Kabin, where we take a look at the Corrie nominations in both the Inside Soap and TV Times shortlists, and we round off the podcast with more listener feedback. Street Talk - 00:13:21 The Kabin - 02:40:23 Feedback - 02:54:38
We're going to be away and jolly busy in Manchester this weekend for the Audience with Coronation Street show at the Lowry, so this week's podcast is coming at you early, covering the episodes that were shown on the 14th and the 16th September (Episodes #11,669 - 11,672). After the shocking revelation that Becky Swain was in fact alive last week, this week's Corrie had a lot to live up to. Would enough questions about the past four years be suitably answered? What would Lisa say to Costello? Would Lisa really be able to see her estranged wife from reconnecting with her daughter! It turned out that the pair of us had quite opposing views about how well Corrie's handled this, and the discussion takes up the lion's share of Street Talk. Elsewhere on the cobbles, Tyrone's told it may be years until he's up on his feet again (so.. skipping around in the snow this Christmas?) Theo and Todd move into their new place, and the twists keep on coming as it's revealed just who was driving the car at breakneck speed through the precinct last Monday... Up next on the podcast, we're joined by Corrie fan Carianne, who attended the Fan Fusion convention last weekend at which Vicky Myers appeared as a special guest. We get the low down of what happened at the event, what Vicky was like, and chat together about the prospect of other Corrie related conventions in the future. As always, we round off the podcast with more of your fabulous feedback. Street Talk - 00:11:43 Fan Fusion Chat - 01:50:19 Feedback - 02:03:39
On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown between the 8th and the 12th September 2025 (Episodes #11,665 - 11,668). There may have only been two trips to Weatherfield this week, but Monday's bombshell was enough to keep us talking for just as long as a regular podcast! Becky Swain is alive! A lot of us had seen it coming, but it was certainly a shock that it happened quite so soon. You may have already heard our initial reactions on the podcast we released earlier this week, so how did we feel about Becky's explanation for where she'd been all this time? Did it hold water, and is she really telling the whole truth? Away from all the Swarla drama, we also had another couple of shockers in the form of Tyrone being hit by a car and Shona revealing she had a bun in the oven. THIS is how you keep twists under wraps until broadcast, Corrie - keep it up! After the Street Talk segment, we head over to The Kabin, where we talk about Corrie at the NTAs and Vicky Myers having to pull out of the upcoming Audience With in Glasgow, and we round things off with some of your immediate Becky bombshell reactions in the feedback section. Street Talk - 00:12:23 The Kabin - 02:41:11 Feedback - 03:01:52
On this week's podcast, we share our thoughts on what went on in Corrie between the 1st and the 5th September (Episodes #11,659 - 11,664). All in all, a pretty good set of episodes for Corrie this week, with some lovely, sweet scenes in the Swarla story as we finally get that proposal that we've been building up to for weeks. And so close to getting some solid answers to the Becky Swain mystery too - although not only are we leaning a lot more to the side of 'she's still alive' now, we've got a feeling that Roy might have even bumped into her in the hospital... Also this week, Theo takes out his anger on Todd after a tough mediation session with Danielle and Noah - but is there really any excusing his behaviour? Elsewhere on the cobbles, Debbie attempts a coup on the dementia choir, Carl enlists Brody and Dylan for a spot of car thievery and Christina opens up to George about how much she's struggling since Dom's death - but is it all just an act? In the Kabin segment of the podcast, we weigh in on the rumours that the Corrie cast have been told not to stop for fans outside the gates at Media City, and we finish things off with more of your feedback. Street Talk - 00:07:02 The Kabin - 02:46:47 Feedback - 03:04:58
On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 25th and the 29th August (Episodes #11,653 - 11,658). Sorry, we couldn't help it - this episode does get somewhat ranty towards the beginning thanks to Corrie's insane decision to publish spoilers about the massive twist in Friday's episode first thing in the morning, thus ruining the surprise for anyone foolish enough to scroll social media rather whilst munching on their Weetabix rather than switching straight to ITVX. And it was a great twist too! Definitely something that we're interested in seeing the fallout from at Number 13... Anyway, that wasn't even the main focus of the week - that particular spotlight, of course, falls on Asha, who had a bit of a mare of a day to flash back to on Monday, and on the same week that we're saying goodbye to the lovely Aadi, too! Also this week, Theo ramps up his control of Todd when he bans him from seeing Billy, whilst over at the Rovers - praise be! - Christina's back in town, and Jenny's feeling more than a little suspicious of her motives... Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, and we chat a bit about Adam Hussain's latest short film, Spice For Life, which made its way onto YouTube this week, and we round off the show with some feedback, including one listener's personal ranking of all the Rovers owners over the years - now that's a discussion we can really get behind!
