The weekly message from our local church, Jesus Culture San Diego, a community of believers passionate about raising up leaders to impact every realm of society with the supernatural power and love of God.

Pastor Banning teaches that God is inviting us into partnership with His heart, believing for salvations not only among those we know but also those we don't. As we allow our hearts to be moved by what moves Him, we step into true compassion, a deep, gut-wrenching response that leads us to prayer and action. Every move of God in history has come through people who carried what was on His heart, and He is still inviting us to do the same.

On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Zack Curry shared a powerful message from 1 Corinthians 11–12 about honoring the Holy Spirit through unity, humility, and reverence. The message was an invitation to hunger for more of God while living in love and unity with one another.

Pastor Zack taught from 1 Corinthians 7–10, highlighting that our freedom in Christ should be guided by love, not self-interest. Paul reminds us that maturity isn't about what we're allowed to do, but how we live in a way that reflects Jesus and builds others up. Ultimately, everything we do should be filtered through love and aimed at glorifying God.

Pastor Jordan DiMarco led us through 1 Corinthians 3–6, reminding us to move beyond spiritual immaturity and build our lives on the foundation of Jesus. Paul's correction is an invitation to live with unity, humility, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. We're called to value what has eternal significance, not just what looks good in the moment. As God's temple, our lives matter, how we live, love, and walk in holiness reflects His power at work in us.

In this final message of the Romans series, Pastor Zack unpacks Romans 12–16 and the powerful shift from what God has done to how we are called to respond. He teaches that in view of God's mercy, believers are invited to offer their lives as living sacrifices, an act rooted not in fear or obligation, but in love and gratitude for His grace. The gospel doesn't just shape what we believe; it transforms how we live, love others, and navigate everyday relationships. From honoring authority to walking in unity and hope, this message calls the church to live out the reality of the gospel in every area of life.

Ultimately, we're called to live lives marked by love, humility, and honor, reflecting God's heart to the world.

In this MOTW Pastor Zack dives into Romans 5–7 as Paul tackles a timeless question: If we're saved by grace, does sin still matter? Through powerful contrasts between Adam and Christ, Paul reminds us that grace isn't permission to sin, it's power over sin. We don't fight for victory; we fight from a place of victory in Jesus. This message calls us to stop striving for self-justification and instead surrender fully to the finished work of the cross.

Pastor Zack continues our series in Romans, unpacking the powerful truth that we are justified by faith, not by works. Through Jesus' finished work on the cross, we are declared righteous and welcomed into God's family. This message invites us to stop striving and live from the peace, grace, and hope we have in Christ.

He reminded us that sin flows from lost intimacy with God and that selfrighteousness is just as dangerous as open rebellion. Paul confronts the church's tendency to judge others while excusing ourselves, calling us back to humility and mercy.

Pastor Zack launched our new series “To All The Saints” by taking us into Romans 1 and back to the foundations of our faith. Paul's bold declaration, “I am not ashamed of the gospel”, reminds us that the gospel isn't something we improve or add to, but the very power of God to save, transform, and sustain everyone who believes.
