A new MP3 sermon from Pineville Presbyterian Church is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Ask God for Greater Faith Subtitle: Luke Speaker: Kevin Olivier Broadcaster: Pineville Presbyterian Church Event: Sunday - AM Date: 7/28/2024 Bible: Luke 17:1-6; Galatians 6:1 Length: 29 min.
Consider some matters that challenge you to have greater faith.-I. WOE TO THOSE WHO CAUSE STUMBLING -II. REBUKE AND FORGIVE OTHERS-III. SEEK GOD FOR GREATER FAITH
The Cross of Jesus is so much more than a symbol, sign, or motion. The Cross is the foundation of all honest Christian thinking. The Cross and how you think about it means everything. The Cross and how you live because of it means even more.
Believe in Communion MORE Than your Isolation. There is value in short seasons of isolation, but to live that way continually is not healthy. God created us to live in communion with Him and with others.
Why do we often believe in our anxiety more than Jesus' peace? Greater Faith means I believe Jesus' words, the Father's heart, and the Spirit's power more than the things I can see. We live by believing, not by seeing.
“Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me.” This is the way of a Greater Faith. Any message that allows us to keep control and guidance of our own lives, is not the message of Jesus. And, Greater Faith is in Jesus, not in self.
What do you believe? What beliefs guide, limit, or empower your life? Do your beliefs give you joy and peace? Do they empower you to love difficult people? Would you like to live a Greater Faith!

Reflecting on the Apostle Thomas' doubt and faith
An Invitation To Greater Faith 5/5/24 by Reagan Sommers
Matthew 15 March 24, 2024 Guest speaker Josh Easter demonstrates the idea of a greater faith presented by Jesus in Matthew 15. In Matthew 15, Jesus confronts the Pharisees and scribes who criticized his disciples for not following traditional Jewish rituals. He rebukes them, emphasizing the importance of inner purity over outward observance. Following this, he performs miracles, feeding thousands of people with a few loaves of bread and fish. The chapter ends with Jesus warning his disciples to beware of the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Today, Pastor Al Dagel encourages us to examine our faith, hoping that the account of Gideon's test of faith will point us to greater trust in God.

Pastor Rob interviews his mom, Isabel Ketterling, about how having greater faith in God has impacted her family.
God calls us to live by faith. Not foolishly or blindly, but with bold, sacrificial faith.God called Abraham and Sarah to leave everything behind before He told them where they were going. They had to live daily by faith, and God used them to change the world.God can do that again through us, and He can do even greater things than we've seen before. Because the greater our faith, the greater He works.

Welcome to our Magnify Podcast series "Let's Talk," where Kathryn and a few of her guests discuss top-of-mind topics and share their insights together as women. This week, our discussion will be based on an article written by Sister Patricia Holland titled “One Thing Needful,” and although this article was written 36 years ago, the insights are more relevant now than ever! We can't wait to have this conversation together! Let's dive in! And stay tuned at the end for how YOU can join in this discussion! We need each other! "You are already anointed and appointed to be an amazing daughter of God." Joining Kathryn on this episode are Emeobong (Eme) Martin and Ciara Lewis. Eme started an Instagram called @PeachyPonderings, which was started when she and her friends wanted to change the dialogue surrounding General Conference, and she created an account reflecting her personal peachy ponderings on a life of discipleship in Jesus Christ. Ciara is a friend of Kathryn's who previously taught seminary with her, and now spends time with family teaching her children and sharing her testimony on her blog. Both women have studied Sister Holland's talk to prepare for this first episode of "Let's Talk." Top Takeaways: We already are divinely defined as daughters of God! We don't have to be or do more to receive that promise. The Lord always promises rest in our souls when we come to Him. Rest comes when we intentionally seek Jesus in our thoughts and actions. An abundant life comes from understanding faith in Jesus Christ and waiting on His promises. Small and Simple Challenge: This week we're inviting you to read and study Sister Patricia Holland's talk, “One Thing Needful” from an article in an 1987 Ensign. We really want to hear from you and how you find wholeness of your soul, so hop on over to @MagnifyCommunity on Instagram to join in the conversation!
