I have always loved Tanis' sense of style, the way she buys for her store and her bedside manners are quite nice too! She's a class act with so much fashion sense... it's non-sense, really (lol)! Let's chat fall fashion, brands, holiday parties, putting family first and what it has been like owning a high end clothing boutique for nearly 20 years and through a pandemic! Tanis brought Rag & Bone (a brand out of NY's meat packing district) to 'The First Coast', and, well, we've never been the same! Let's chat!

Lex & Terry hired me nearly 20 years ago as their News Director. We started out in Jacksonville, FL and moved the show to Dallas, TX. I spent nearly 5 years on the show with them, got to know his wife Shari pretty well, and have a lot of history here. Listen along as Terry shares a little of his life's story with you, how he got his start, what he's up to now and what his plans are next! This was fun...let's chat!
Good day! In this episode I chat with an old friend from high school whom is a Mental Health Counselor here in the state of Florida where I live. We explore the ins-and-outs of what people living in relationships may be going through if their spouse or significant other has a personality disorder. It's a pretty rampant topic and one I think effects most of us or at least someone we know. When is enough...enough? What type of barriers do you need with these type of people? Is NPD really what we see the most of? Or is that more rare and in some cases people possess narcissistic characteristics, that if we are not careful–we may be enabling. Let's chat!
We are certainly living through uncharted times and our workforce is feeling it. Let's talk about it. Around 50% of all jobs in America are expected to be freelance positions and/or 'at home' work going forward. What does that mean for you? How should we be looking at things differently these days? Is Tania requiring her staff to be vaccinated? If not, how often are they being tested. What are her thoughts on this? If half the workforce will be freelance, how substantial will people's social media accounts be going forward? They could really be an asset. Do you look at potential hires' social accounts and how much do they matter? I, Kimber, own a social media management company and obviously see potential here for me where I might not have before. Times they are a changing...let'd talk about it all!
I have my former General Manger who put me on a nationally syndicated show–Lex & Terry, on with me today! Gary Spurgeon opened the first of their type, podcast studio suites in NE Florida, he's a broadcasting veteran and also owns a new network, Clear Media Network. In addition, Paul Trammell, a fellow podcaster who has done the grind, living on a sail boat and watching his podcast succeed also joins us!
I bring in a NE Florida Realtor who lives in Ponte Vedra Beach–Neill and I have been friends for over 20 years, she was my first Assignment Editor in the news world and (lol) we have the same birthday, for those who care. Real Estate has been a hot topic the last 20+ months and I would like to hear more. Not only is Neill a realtor, she also built a custom home on the water years ago that she sold during the middle of the pandemic. She's a successful mother of three, living out her dream in PVB! Let's chat, real talk.
Mental Illness, Addiction, Surviving Suicide & The Pandemic–definitely a heavier week, but a real one. Lauren opens the show answering questions and comments on fertility coming in from the prior week. As 'Delta' sweeps the land and health concerns flourish, we open up about what the last 20+ months have been like for us; Kimber lost her sister 60+ days into the pandemic, people struggle and we are seeing it now more than ever. It's a corner table conversation we think a few of you may relate to. Let's chat.
Lauren and Kimber open up about their sex drive, defying age, the need for balance and what sex in your 40's really looks like. Lauren has a specialty in fertility–and sex just to conceive can become a little lackluster...we segue this all together and have fun doing so. Let's chat!
We talk to my strategic business partner Ronnie Soud from Soud Marketing about the need for local marketing and more. Most small-to-medium sized businesses struggle with implementing a true strategic marketing plan that can and will support their business if done correctly. We want to see everyone winning. We want to empower you with what you need to know and we want to watch you make your dreams come true! Have a listen!
We open up the mic and have a little fun getting to see how this is all going to go. It's Lauren's first time, lol, and I talk way too much! We talked a little bit about relationships, being working moms, sexual harassment, what's next, the pandemic and just life!
