In E6 of #LovelywithLauren Podcast I'm getting personal about something that happened to me, health wise. A few months ago, I noticed a change in my skin and my energy level. I started to get some hyperpigmentation on my face followed by a major stomach flu. Or, what I thought was the stomach flu. After a surprise visit to the ER, I was told by my doctor that I needed to have my gallbladder removed. Excuse me? Remind me again what the main function of the gallbladder is? Oh, that's right! I remember now. After surgery, I feel so much better. Thank goodness! But, I can't help but think about all of the signs that we there leading up to my ER visit. The first obvious sign was my skin hyperpigmentation. I think it's so important to stop everything and listen when our bodies are they're trying to tell us something! Or, in my case, yell it from the rooftop. More self care and less stress is my new mantra!
