Schedule a Spiritual Upgrade Breakthrough call with me and let's talk about how my programs can help you. In today's episode, I wanted to offer another perspective on working with the elements and how ancient teachings are coming forward in our present lifetime. My guest is Lindsay Fauntleroy. She's a medicine maker, educator, and author of, " In our Elements: Soul Medicine to Unleash your Personal Power." In this episode, we talk about the five elements of the Chinese system, the element of Metal for the Fall, prayer boards, shared consciousness, money & honey, flower essences, and ways to support your own healing as well as the collective healing. Lindsay Fauntleroy was drawn to the healing arts after her own journey to fertility introduced her to the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. Her extensive training includes a Master of Arts from New York University, a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture, and myofascial Trigger Point release. Lindsay firmly believes that the power to heal should rest in the hands and hearts of all communities. Her approach to soul medicine emerges from over 15 years of clinical practice, her Ph.D studies of Indigenous and African Diasporic psychology, and her commitment to community wellness. She provides practitioner certification in the sacred art and science of flower essence therapy, which she offers in loving partnership with the Flower Essence Society and the MINKA Mystery School. Lindsay's line of alchemical Five Element flower essence remedies, the Elementals, are available nationally and internationally. https://www.thespiritseed.org/ https://www.instagram.com/lindsayfaunt/ What kind of body and what kind of soul am I? We can do everything on the surface and think we have everything. But if there's something within us that is out of alignment, even if you reach the goal, the fertility, the job, the, whatever it is, that if you're not in alignment, it really doesn't matter. These two things work together. Sometimes the material world is just an inspiration to do the inner work. Get into that soul energy and really check in and find out what is it. Go deep. Definitely sit still. Be quiet. Listen. Sometimes it's enduring the heartache or the pain or the discomfort while we're waiting for something to show itself. Four Sacred Elements - Air, Fire, Earth, Water. Whereas the Chinese acupuncture system works in the five elements. The Autumn Equinox brings us into the Metal element, which is essentially the fifth element of the five-element system that begins with Water... to Wood, to Fire, to Earth to Metal. Late summer is considered the earth element. The earth element is also the transition between each season. Every season goes back to the earth to replenish before becoming the next season. The prayer board is leaving space for the unknown... this or something better. Flower essences we use to help us access the consciousness or the intentions of each of these elements of nature. One of the soul lessons for the Metal element is being present, being in the present moment, and being in the now. Essential oils are more for the etheric or the emotional body, because they are so effective at moving Chi. Flower essences are taken internally as supplements. So you either put them in your water or put them in drops under your tongue and you ingest them. Instead of working more on the emotional body, they work more on our thoughts and perceptions. Flower essences shift us to a perspective that is more in alignment with our highest good and our highest intention. They're super subtle. Lindsay's hope is that people will use this book as a springboard. That they'll be introduced to some things that work, and discover other things that work just as well, if not better. We are all on this collective path of transformation together. This book is for a tribe of folks that she calls Neo-Ancients. There are a lot of us who are out there that are calling on older ancient technologies, spiritual traditions, healing, traditions, complementary and alternative medicine. What can we learn from our ancestors? What can we learn from the people who were most connected with the earth? Looking backward to look forward. As Lindsay reminds us, "Soul Medicine helps us to make space for Spirit that is always trying to communicate with us. It allows us to make space for that to come in and drive and direct us." Yes...Make space for what is unknown to bring it in, into a spirit-driven community. Check out Lindsay's work, and her flower essences and get her book. Talk therapy and medications are wonderful ways to treat mental health issues. However, there are many other therapeutic avenues that could be beneficial but are often not explored. One such therapeutic approach is the use of Acupuncture. Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body. Many people swear by Acupuncture's ability to heal physical and emotional trauma. To help us unpack this subject I've brought in trauma-informed licensed acupuncturist Dr. Winnie Wang. Dr. Wang believes that trauma is the root cause of many physical and emotional illnesses, she focuses on releasing trapped emotions in organs and meridians (energy pathways). About Our GuestWinnie Chan Wang is a trauma-informed licensed acupuncturist, Reiki practitioner, shadow worker, and shamanic Tao healer. She is also a professor in Acupuncture at Alhambra Medical University. In her private practice, Winnie honors her clients as divine self-healers, navigating their healing journeys as co-pilots. Winnie combines the medical science of a clinically trained acupuncturist with the spiritual knowledge of a shaman to help her clients process their trauma by channeling source healing energy and guided breathwork. Key TakeawaysYour body keeps the score of mental health "injuries". To deal with your mental health, you have to deal with your physical health.Take the time to listen to your body. Your physical pain could be alerting you to deeper emotional wounds. Physical health problems such as headaches, fatigue, and stomach pain may be indicators of an underlying emotional health problem.Mentions: Dr. Winnie Wang https://mindfulhealingheart.com/Drop The BS Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/dropthebspodcast/Psychology Today: https://www.psychologytoday.com/usNeely Counseling Center: www.neelycounseling.com

In this episode, I sat down with one of my first mentors, Marie Connor-Glenfield, who I met when I was sixteen. In our first encounter, she held space for me to process profound loss. She identified my pain and didn't try to push me through it, but rather sat with me as I sat with it. Since that first meeting, she has continued to be there for me in seminal moments of my life. When I was lost, when I was celebrating, and when I wasn't sure what my next move would be, Marie accompanied me. I have witnessed Marie bring healing energy to many people and organizations over the decades I've known her. I am so happy she was generous enough to share her deeply personal stories of listening to muses and grounding herself in the interconnectedness of life with all of us. Her creativity and commitment to be of service has always inspired me to stay true to that part of myself. I hope you get as much from this conversation as I did! Show Highlights: Holding deep emotions through presence brings healing Listening to the inner voice when it says “I know I can help, so I'm going to” Being of service so that others don't have to experience the same pain we did; or, if they do, they don't have to do it alone When we're fully present, we're connected to everything and everyone How do we stay in our truth when we're having a bad day, week, or month? After his parents divorced when he was 5 years old, the vision to create FREEDOM for himself and for everyone in his life became his catalyst. My funny introduction to acupuncture.
Today we’re talking about using magnets to relieve pain, get better sleep, and promote optimum health and wellness. When we think about healthcare, many of us picture the same typical people, places, and things... doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, medical bills, and so on. We rely on healthcare professionals to guide us when we're in pain or feeling under the weather, and often take various medications to get us back on track. But, wouldn't it be great if there was a way we could take our health into our own hands? Who wouldn't want an easy, natural way to relieve pain, get better sleep each night, and increase our energy, all without prescription drugs or a trip to the doctor's office? Wellness expert, author, and licensed acupuncturist, Susan Shane, joins me to share how we can take our wellness into our own hands through the use of Hand Energetics. She explains how this system utilizes modern magnet technology combined with ancient acupuncture wisdom that empowers people everywhere to have a direct impact on their health and overall wellness right from their own homes. We Discuss: The three major factors that influence how we respond to everything in our lives Becoming aware of our subconscious beliefs and how they may be impacting us Taking our wellness into our hands through the use of Hand Energetics How a hand energetic magnet therapy protocol is used to promote optimum health Why magnets on the hand are often a better approach than full body acupuncture How magnets used in the program can calm pain, promote better sleep, and raise energy For the full show notes visit: www.ChangeItUpRadio.com

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Ali: I’m applying for the private concierge membership because I want one-on-one consultation with Dr. Cabral for a complicated situation that I’m in... I noticed that Julia and Caitlin are almost half the cost of seeing Dr. Cabral… is that cost difference a reflection of their ability to diagnose as well as Dr. Cabral, or is it more so a reflection of popularity because he’s of course the man behind the magic of all of this? Thanks! Ali Libby: I’ve been listening to your podcasts for a little while, I can’t find you addressing this question, and thought it would be beneficial for many people. My daughter is almost 13 and is struggling with acne and has had some learning disabilities. I was listening to you suggest that they both are gut related. She was on antibiotics a lot as a baby/toddler. She had reoccurring ear infections and strep. She then had tubes, adenoids out, and tonsils out. What would you suggest for an almost teenager in getting her gut healthy? Annie: I'm dating someone who has prostatitis. He's 30 and has seen a couple of MD's who all tell him not to worry about it. He used to drink quite a bit and has recently stopped which his doctors said is a good thing. He has pain in his low back and fell on his coccyx when he was little. We are working to strengthen his feet and spine, but the pain wakes him up at night when he changes positions and when he lays on a flat surface. He saw an acupuncturist that said sex is good for him and there isn't pain with orgasm. Is there anything else that you can recommend that he do to help remedy this? Thank you for your insight and all you do. Terry: Am I getting enough water when I only consume between 30 - 40 ounces of water per day? If I try to force myself to drink more water, it only feels like I have a fish bowl in my belly. I ONLY drink natural spring water or filtered zero water with concentrace mineral drops. No soda, no alcohol. I have organic green tea once or twice per week. I feel great and have zero dehydration symptoms I know of. I will drink more water if I go hiking, but, it's still not remotely close to 1oz per body weight. Once again, I feel great, but, if I try to drink more water, I don't feel as good. I've always been this way. Urine was clear until I started taking the active B complex vitamins, now it is Yellow due to the B vitamins. I am vata body type all the way. Male, 47, 6 ft tall, 125 and cannot gain weight regardless of how much I work out or eat. I recently saw a local naturopath doctor. No sibo, candida, nor parasites. Lots of food intolerance due to leaky gut, but already healing from that with help from her and from you. I am a huge fan of your show. Thank you for all you do! Peg: Hi Dr. Cabral, Thank you so much for all of the incredible information you share on your podcasts each day; I’ve learned so much from you over the last year and still find episodes I haven’t heard yet. I’ve also recommended your podcast to countless friends for all types of advise. I’ve searched your archives to see if you’ve answered any questions about Bell’s Palsy and I haven’t been able to find anything on this topic. 3 Months ago after a long plane flight I woke up to 1/2 of my face totally paralyzed. I was in a foreign country and not near a hospital so I searched online for answers as to what may have happened and determined it was likely Bell’s palsy. I contacted my pcp who prescribed a course of antivirals plus prednisone. Even though I did not want to take either, I could not find any other suggestions online so I tried them both without improvement. Once I returned to the states I saw my doctor who confirmed I have Bell’s Palsy, but only based on a clinical diagnosis, no MRI. Can you please tell me what causes Bell’s and what I can do to help to improve the symptoms? I’ve regained partial function in areas of my face but I far from back to normal. My doctor said it can take up to 6 months to go away and has no suggestions for treatment in the meantime. I am anxious to do something to regain my normal face back! So far I’ve done a few things on my own: Acupunture. Oral B12. Alpha Lipoic Acid. Please let me know if you can help, or if you have treatment suggestions. Thank you so much, Peg Lily: Hi! I am writing to you with a question regarding the blood panel test Dr. Cabral recommended on his podcast, Female Panel by Life Extension. I have been experiencing amenorrhea for about a year as well as persistent digestive issues (constipation, bloating), anxiety and now brain fog. My gynecologist sent me for some very basic bloodwork a few months back (FSH, LH, TSH, DHEA-S) but besides a DHEA-S level of 498 she said I seemed to be "in range". I have been recommended to take Spironolactone/birth control but I am focusing on addressing the underlying stressor/s that are contributing to these symptoms. In order to get the best results with the blood panel, Life Extension recommends pre-menopausal females to get blood drawn on day 21 of their cycle. Being that I have amenorrhea, do you have any further recommendations for when I get the bloodwork done? Thank you for any help you can provide, sorry this was so much at once! I really appreciate all you do. Sincerely, Lily Tallulah: Hello! I love the information you provide and have been seeing some great benefits from your CBD Oil. I am basically a mess, physically, right now and my quality of life is definitely not great. After being healthy my entire life (aside from stomach issues), I have been diagnosed with the following: Bradycardia, Metabolic alkalosis, hypoglycemia, raynaud's disease, leukopenia, amenorrhea (haven't menstruated in 4 years). I spent time in a treatment center for an eating disorder but I was really just eliminating foods over time that were hurting my stomach (and I enjoy working out—wasn't trying to lose weight). I should mention that I haven't had any kind of illness such as a cold or flu for over 10 years so at least my immune system seems to be working! At this point, I can barely eat or drink anything without bloating and pain. I have eaten clean for many years—pescatarian—organic, lots of vegetables, pasteurized eggs and no dairy or gluten. I also grill or bake all of my vegetables to help with digestion—even lettuce—never raw. I make my own soups and meals so as to avoid added salt or hidden gluten. I also don't take any medications other than Vitamin D, Biotin, Iron, zinc and magnesium supplements (clean versions) and unfortunately, miralax because I don't seem to be able to have a bm without it, which makes everything worse. At this point, I don't know what to do but suspect your Candida & Bacterial Protocol could help. Does it require fasting in any way? I am concerned about eliminating even more foods and losing more weight and getting lightheaded. Also, I would desperately love to do all of your tests to finally get some answers but know that I can't afford them right now. Do you have any recommendations for my situation aside from the tests? Hopefully, someday I can take them. I am no longer going to traditional doctors as it has cost a lot of money, hasn't helped and goes against most of what I believe in for how to heal the body. I appreciate any advice you can provide. Thank you so much for all of the help you are providing people. You are literally, saving lives. Thank you! Laura: Hi Stephen, I love your podcast and everything you're doing. I've had increasing lower abdominal pain over the last 12 months. It's becoming unbearable and really affecting my day to day life. I'm extremely healthy and lived a balanced lifestyle. I avoid dairy and gluten. 2 weeks ago I had the laparoscopy for the removal of endometriosis but None was found. I got my period this month for the first time in a year. I am not under weight or living I highly stressed life. A year ago I would have been very stressed though. My blood tests are great according to gymno and doctor and I monitor all the things that could potentially affect or cause these pains. There's no common foods that I am aware of. What questions me is the pain comes on around 5pm and stays for 3-4 hours. Generally I have lunch around 1 and don't snack at work or really eat until dinner. The pain seems to ease after I eat. The pain is shark, in the middle of my lower abdomen and causes severe bloating. Could I have a parasite or something causing this pain when my stomach is potentially empty? I'm exhausted and gutted that even after an operation I don't have any answers! If I was to take any of your tests what would you recommend? Any advice will help I don't even know where to begin now. My guest today is Yakir Soloman, he is a Chinese medicine health practioner based out of Israel. He began life in a small village with a curiosity for Eastern philosophy, having read Shogun - a novel written by James Cavall set in Japan, he was inspired to search for the mysterious Qi energy, and unlock the magic that shrouds esoteric traditional asian medicine. Having studied Chinese Medicine in his home country for a number years he travelled east to begin a scholarship in Chongqing. He encountered significant difficulties as a foreign English speaking student especially communicating with tutors, doctors and hospitals and could only make direct oberservation. But he was still missing a piece in the puzzle. Becoming stressed a fatigued and isolated about his dream slipping away he steered is frustration and focused his motivation to find an experienced English speaking Practioner and mentor whom he studied under for the remainder of his stay. Returning to his home country with all the amazing knowledge he discovered he has set up his own practice to offer treatments to those suffering pain, imbalance, common ailments and stress related fatigue with treatments such as Acupunture and Acupressure. He is also the host of his very own podcast The Inner Gardener - publishing in both English and Hebrew, sharing ideas about traditional Chinese medicine and connecting with other practioners.
In E6 of #LovelywithLauren Podcast I'm getting personal about something that happened to me, health wise. A few months ago, I noticed a change in my skin and my energy level. I started to get some hyperpigmentation on my face followed by a major stomach flu. Or, what I thought was the stomach flu. After a surprise visit to the ER, I was told by my doctor that I needed to have my gallbladder removed. Excuse me? Remind me again what the main function of the gallbladder is? Oh, that's right! I remember now. After surgery, I feel so much better. Thank goodness! But, I can't help but think about all of the signs that we there leading up to my ER visit. The first obvious sign was my skin hyperpigmentation. I think it's so important to stop everything and listen when our bodies are they're trying to tell us something! Or, in my case, yell it from the rooftop. More self care and less stress is my new mantra! In this episode, I'm so excited to introduce you to my guest, Joyce Kawalchuk, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Founder of Joyce K Acupuncture in Glendale, AZ. She has so much insight about Eastern Medicine and how it can effectively restore health & well-being. Listen in as she talks about what you can expect from an initial acupuncture evaluation and treatment session, how she started her own practice, and how she makes handmade statement jewelry as a creative outlet. Her genuine good energy, killer red lipstick, and passion for her craft left me feeling inspired and interested in how acupuncture and Eastern Medicine can play a role in my life going forward!
