Still more New Universe to talk about! Here we talk through issues 26-32 of DP7, Star Brand issues 17, 18, 19 and the War miniseries. We give our final thoughts on those series, plus talking about the last run of backup issues.

Well, if you've been listening for a while you now how much we loved those PSI Force Leather jackets that appeared in an imaginary flashback panel and in a way they perfectly represent both of these series'. Bitter disappointment! ...no not really but maybe some unrealized promise. Lets talk about it! Fourth quarter grades are in! What will Justice and PSI Force earn?

That's all folks, but be sure to stick around for just one or two more episides recapping season 5 and our final thoughts on the whole New Universe.

Last issue ended with the missiles being launched and total nuclear annihilation...so lets not spoil this one I guess!

Ok, so not really a lot of actual War next issue, but at least this time the paranormal squad and their leader Kathi Blizzard will actually be on location. The plot unfolds, the showers are steamy and the cruise missiles are warming up. Better not miss this one!!

Global conflict started with the PITT and Rodstvow vs PSI Hawk. The Draft created a squad of paranormal army troops and now they finally get to go on a mission. Will they prevent WW3 or accidentally start it? Will it break the tradition of the bookshelf format New U books being really boring? We'll find out!!!

Showdown at Coney Island, in what feels like a description for a Jack Kirby comic Judge Mental and his band of paranormals face off against Justice, Captain Brooklyn and the ferris wheel ride of doom! How will Tensen's story end? Lets find out.

Love, paranormals, happy endings and sad farewells. This is the last story of Dave Landers, Merriam Sorrensen, Randy O'Brien, Dennis Cuzinski, Charley Beck, Stephanie Harrington and Jenny Swensen. Grab some snacks and a comfortable chair, it's going to be a long one!

Here it is, the last issue of PSI Force that we will likely ever get. What's left of the team of psychic kids is now working for the Medusa Web and on a mission to Afghanistan. We've got lots of surprises in this issue including an unexpected crossover with a character from one of the early cancelled books, a new team member and even a letters page??? Anyway its time to send PSI Force off into the sunset...no cool jackets.

You know when reality shows finish a season and then they have a reunion episode at the end where the people that screwed each other over over the course of the season get to face each other? This is a lot like the Star Brand version of that. A definitive end to Star Brand for sure, and be sure to stick around til the end for DJ Roger's bad dance grooves.

Under The Boardwalk! The NSC vacation to Coney Island didn't go so well after Miriam "Playback" Morse got captured, and it continues to not go so well. In this Issue we finally get to meet the guy who sent Quill after Tensen a few issues ago, along with a host of new paranormal weirdos!

Scuzz returns!!! That ought to be enough to get you excited, right? Well, it gets even better. We've got relationship drama. A cult. A gang of freaky torture punks and some new paranormals!

While it all began with Wayne, Kathy, Stasi, Tyrone and Michael we have come a long way since then. Only Wayne and Kathy from the original team are still together, and even their days as a team might be numbered? In this issue, PSI Force is slumming it with the Medusa Web for a bit, maybe knocking off the Annoying Potiphar before they move to their next mission...which might also be their last!!! (cuz no more issues)

The real conclusion to the Siberian project Crossover with Justice happens here, plus a bonus Jim Lee inked backup story?

It's Christmas 1988, and single mom Stephanie Harrington is stuck in a seemingly dead end job working as a maid in a high class hotel in Manhattan. That is until she meets a handsome politician who is looking to make a name for himself by gentrifying a run down Skeevo-led neighborhood. Or maybe I'm mixing this up with a movie I just watched? Lots of new paranormals in this one, DP7 style!

This is it, the final puzzle. Only a select few special readers can read through this entire issue and figure out which short-haired blonde in a winter coat is Johnny and which is Lindsey! Is it still a crossover if the crossover characters never show up in it? Well, as a follow up to the deathly revelation about Tensen's daughter Angie's powers, we get...lots of people standing around talking! Can you Smeeeellllllll....what Nicieza...is COOKING? A multi part epic crossover is what he's cooking! So what if it's a little weak. We'll make a podcast about it and rock along! Plus something resembling a backup story!

Special ultra spectacular 100th episode of our podcast episode that is also spectacular! The Star Brand 17. Last we left this comic, Wilford Brimley was all powered up with Star Brand and ready to fix the world. We'll see if he can do it before Mac Browning decides that he's a dangerous civilian or that wet blanket Witness guy spoils things.

I's say we both agreed that this was the best issue of the Peter David Justice run so far! Nuff said, listen and find out what happens with Angela, Quill and Justice (and the kitty).

You've heard of the PITT, but do you know the dangers that lunk in....THE DITCH?? Ok, well actually it's just the PITT, but with a new volcano feature. Either way, this issue has it all, a cat fight, Bliss and Dirtbag, some new paranormals and 3 Stooges themed antibodies. It's one you can't miss.

In this issue we finally find out what happened to the rest of the kids after getting beaten by Rodstvow, and as the title says...they are in Siberia! Some real mayhem is sure to ensue when the PSI Force kids mix it up with their Soviet counterparts.

With Creeping Crud six feet under now it's time for Justice to go after Quill with an old-fashioned paranormal team up! Justice and Playback are on the trail! While they're out hunting, will Quill make a move of his own? We also have a backup story involving the Medusa Web from PSI Force and a certain well-known leader from the 80's that isn't Reagan this time.

The CIA lady squad gets their first real mission and it certainly is a dangerous one. Dropped into the Brazilian Rain Forest, will everyone survive? Will they end up naked and afraid? Only one way to find out, listen to this podcast! I mean, I guess you could just read the comic book too, but that doesn't seem as fun.

So in the last issue of PSI Force...everyone died? Or maybe just PSI-Hawk Died? Or maybe nobody died? Well, lets see what Andrew Chaser has to say about it all. Special guest appearances in the comic from "The Leaker" and Andrew Chaser's Mom and her maid.

Picking up where we left off with part 1. We'll be covering issues 19-25 of DP7 and 13-16 of Star Brand, plus The Draft.

New characters and the start of a three part story arc, Justice is still at the NSC and trying to keep his daughter Angela safe. We get some new characters too, Creeping Crud and Quill, plus yet another reminder as to why having a chauffer hold a sign for a person at an airport is a bad idea.

If you love plot threads, you'll love this one. DDTeens robbing a store, Randy and the missing antibodies finally gets a resolution and Famileech (the weird mutant blob version of the family from The PITT. If that isn't enough for you, ESPeople (they're made out of people) and Nightmask too!. If this wasn't Mark Gruenwald I'd be worried there was too much.

Rodstvow has seemed pretty unstoppable at this point, and our crew of PSI Force kids has just lost one of their own. Is the PSI Hawk enough to save the day???

Lissen here folks. We've rustled ourselves up a new episode of Justice! He's headed down to Texas where some folks are hasslin' some feller with wind powers! Also, a backup story with Potifar of the Medusa Web.

Lots of great things going on here, answers AND more questions! Will Jenny Swensen be cured from her PITT related mutation? What will happen to Dave after he clobbered Bloodhound? Will Stephanie join the all lady CIA super vixen squad? All that and some steamy shower scenes..oh my! Better get to listening!

Reunited and it feels...so...bad??? Big things happening in this issue as a fan favorite PSI Force member isn't going to make it to the end of the story.

Well lets just be honest here, we haven't really been loving the new direction that Star Brand has taken, especially some real anti "Don't throw away the Duck" story choices. However, it makes for one heck of a fun podcast. Strap in folks...PITT Plague!

The Justice Brigade. A group of regular citizens that idolize Justice and carry flamethrowers. What could go wrong? Well, with Justice free of the drugs and working with the NSC he's going to have to deal with this unruly group...lest there be...RAMIFICATIONS!! Plus a new bonus story featuring Stasi and Kathy of PSI-Force.

Is this a follow up and retelling of the Bootcamp brawl from PSI Force or a 3 part epic with basically every New Universe Character (except our beloved Kickers)? Well, as it turns out it's both!!! We get the DP7 Perspective on the fight with PSI Force, Keith Remsen being a Narc, the fate of Jenny "Spitfire" Swensen...*takes breath...AS WELL AS the DDTeens, some caged heat with the captured Ladies of DP7! Converging!!! Best not miss it!

Time to check in with the paranormals in the boot camp, but this time Wayne, Tyrone and Lindsay are running a rescue mission! Plus the mystery character...who is Richie Anderson and is he friend or foe??? Well actually that part isn't really explained well. Oh well, lots of punching!

Justice is still hallucinating that he's in the winterlands, and the Army, police, NSC and his daughter are looking for him. There's also a gang of hobos burning things in a barrel. Then stick around for some universe news, a letters page and some profiles on Justice characters.

They've been trapped in the clinic, on the run, running the clinic, dunked in The PITT and now, Drafted? Yep, It's looking like some of our favorite paranormals are in boot camp. I'm sure a barracks full of paranormals will go fine. Oh, wait! Pittbull is there too? This issue parallels the special "The Draft" but follows the DP7 group instead of the three new guys.

Up until now we got the feeling that Thomas Boyd has been through a lot in his life, but with this issue we really find out. Thomas has been an assasin for a rogue CIA agent, part of teh PSI Force team and now drafted and getting evaluated by an out of control Nightmask persona. It doesn't get much crazier than this! If that wasn't enough, a back up story following everyone's favorite pranormal...Mutator!

At long last, the Draft is here! This issue tells the story of three new paranormals who end up drafted into the government's new paranormal military squad. Meet Gridlock, a sad man who gets no respect but can make tubes from thin air (that should help). Also Metallurgust, who can control a chevy hubcap (seriously) and Blow Out, a PhD student who explosively teleports. We also see the return of Nightmask and meet Sgt. Haldeman who has a truly horrifying power.

And finally we return to bi-monthy Star Brand. In this issue we learn more about the motivations of Ken and Duck's space super star baby. Sure the issue is a bit weird, but we've got some great impressions and a back up story "Family Ties" that follows up on what happened to the family that Jenny Swensen rescued from the PITT.

Death of the Clinic??? Say it ain't so Gruenwald, we like the clinic!! In this issue a lot of the clinic paranormals are split up and have run ins with the army and state stroopers. Let's hope everyone is ok. We also get a special backup story "CHOICES" with the return of one of our favorite characters from a canceled New Universe series.

Justice is in jail...again and everyone wants a peice of him. But what happens when you take a dangerous paranormal like Tensen and drug him out of his mind?
