In this Episode, we reflect on the passage of scripture in Matthew 25:14-30 that tells a parable of the talents. The emphasis of this parable is on stewardship. Stewarding the things that God has given us and stewarding them well. Many times when we think of good stewardship, we think of stewarding a physical item or gift. But, have you ever thought of what it looks like to steward your emotions? 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own for you were bought with a price. So glorify God with your body." This calling in 1 Corinthians is not only speaking about the physical part of our body, but also our thoughts, emotions and feelings. In this episode, we focus in on what it means to steward our emotions well and the importance of healing from the things that have done emotional damage.
