What do we do when life breaks our hearts and we can't fix the pain for the people we love?In this moving and deeply human episode of Linda's Corner Podcast, I sit down with Brad Wolfe — singer-songwriter, community activist, and founder of Reimagine — to talk about grief, music, storytelling, and how we can transform pain into purpose, connection, and healing.Brad shares the story of his childhood friend Sara, who was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer. Faced with the helplessness that so many people feel during tragedy, Brad discovered something powerful: even when we can't make everything better, we can still show up with love. He brought his guitar to the hospital and began singing for Sara, eventually writing a song for her called “Sara's Got a Sunbeam.” Through music, Brad witnessed not only emotional comfort, but even relief from some of Sara's physical symptoms. The experience transformed Brad as well. He realized that helping others creates healing for everyone involved. That journey eventually led to the creation of the Sunbeam Foundation, which has since raised more than $1 million for cancer research. Brad also formed his band, Brad Wolfe & The Moon, debuting alongside Grammy-winning artist Sara Bareilles. We also discuss the powerful story behind Brad's song “Why Wait?” — inspired by his grandmother, Sally Wolfe, one of the last living survivors of The Holocaust and a survivor of Auschwitz concentration camp. Sally lived to be 102 years old and left behind a profound message: life is short, so we must use our time to care for one another, practice kindness, and choose tolerance and compassion. That message became a guiding force in Brad's life and work. Through Reimagine, Brad has helped create one of the largest community movements in the United States focused on grief, healing, mortality, and meaning. Reimagine has hosted more than 4,500 events for over 250,000 people, creating safe spaces where people can share stories about loss, illness, discrimination, violence, heartbreak, and hope.We also talk about the healing power of creativity and storytelling, the role music plays in helping us process difficult emotions, and how even small steps can help us create meaning and purpose from painful experiences. Brad reminds us that while life is fragile and temporary, we still have the opportunity to live intentionally, love deeply, and do what matters most with the time we are given. You can learn more about Brad Wolfe and his work at:Brad Wolfe Official WebsiteReimagineYou can also watch Brad's powerful music video for “Why Wait?” here:Why Wait Music VideoListen, Share, and SupportIf this episode resonated with you, please share it with someone who may need hope today.Be sure to subscribe, leave a rating and review, and help us spread more healing and inspiration to the world.Free Resource for HealingIf you're ready to release stress, calm your mind, and begin healing from within, visit:

Will and Karen sit down with licensed hypnotherapist Cat Cazimi, co-host of Hippie Chicks Live, for a deep dive into what hypnosis really is, and whether it can fast-track you to spiritual awakening. Cat breaks down the biggest myth about hypnosis: the idea that it's a sleep-like state where you lose control. In reality, she explains, hypnosis is a hyper-focused state of receptivity, not unconsciousness, and you can never be made to do or say anything you don't want to. She walks through the difference between a light trance (think scrolling your phone or watching a movie) and the deeper theta state used in therapeutic work, and shares how she works with the most resistant clients, from analytical "monkey minds" who overthink their way out of relaxing, to people who drift too far into sleep. Karen and Will also revisit their own hypnosis sessions with Cat, including a moment that helped Karen finally get consistent sleep, and a lighter memory involving an impromptu "world-class pianist" suggestion. The conversation turns philosophical when Will asks Cat directly: is hypnotherapy a shortcut to enlightenment? Her answer redraws the line entirely, arguing that hypnotherapy ends and self-enlightenment begins the moment you're finally willing to meet yourself. Also in this episode: a listener voicemail from Toronto on the healing power of screaming into the void (walk-in freezers and airport parking lots included), a five-star review from a listener in Portugal, and a live audience Q&A covering who can and can't be hypnotized. Ep #146 - In this episode of The Awakened Heart Podcast, I sit down with Thayne Martin for a powerful conversation about emotional healing, gratitude, neuroscience, unconditional love, and the journey from surviving trauma to creating a life of greater peace, connection, and purpose.Thayne's life story is extraordinary. After experiencing profound childhood trauma, living with Dissociative Identity Disorder, struggling with addiction, and surviving multiple near-death experiences, he began a deeply personal journey of healing and self-discovery. Through that process, he developed a new understanding of how our subconscious beliefs, emotional patterns, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.Together, we explore how gratitude can become much more than a positive thought or daily checklist. Thayne shares the neuroscience behind gratitude, love, emotional balance, and human connection - and explains how intentional experiences may help us shift deeply rooted beliefs and create meaningful change from within. We also talk about the neurochemicals connected to love and bonding, including oxytocin, dopamine, and vasopressin; the influence of media and subconscious programming; healing generational and ancestral patterns; heart-brain coherence; shadow work; spiritual awakening; and the importance of becoming aware of the emotional energy we bring into our everyday lives.Thayne also shares practical tools, including his “gratitude cocktail,” gratitude bracelet, gratitude sandwich protocol, and simple ways we can create meaningful moments of connection, even with complete strangers. One of the messages that stayed with me most from this conversation is that love and connection are what truly matter. When we begin changing what is happening within us, those changes naturally ripple outward into our relationships, communities, and the world around us.If you've been feeling emotionally stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or ready to create a deeper sense of inner peace, I hope this conversation reminds you that healing is possible, and that small, intentional moments of gratitude, kindness, awareness, and genuine connection can have a much greater impact than we realize. In this episode, we explore:Thayne's journey through childhood trauma, DID, addiction, and healingHow his near-death experiences changed his understanding of life and connectionThe relationship between neuroscience, gratitude, love, and emotional healingHow subconscious beliefs influence our emotions and behaviorThe “gratitude cocktail” and the brain chemistry connected to gratitudePractical ways to create authentic moments of connection with strangersOxytocin, dopamine, vasopressin, and emotional balanceHow experiential learning may help shift deeply rooted patternsHeart-brain coherence and awarenessShadow work, epigenetics, and ancestral traumaThe influence of media and subconscious programmingSpiritual awakening, consciousness, abundance, and inner peaceWhat it truly means to live with an awakened heart Sound bites"We could add a podcast before the podcast.""Love and connection are what truly matter""Before was heavy, now I feel weightless"
Hello Beautiful, I'm so grateful you're here with me. If life has been feeling heavy, this meditation invites you to gently set some of that weight down. Through calming guidance and mindful awareness, you'll nurture emotional healing, inner peace, and a lighter heart. Allow yourself to soften and breathe a little easier today. Love,
This talk explains that meditation develops the ability to experience each moment without the filters of past judgments, memories, or future fears. By cultivating "radical mindfulness," meditators learn to recognize experiences as they truly are, rather than reacting through personal interpretations and emotional habits. Through this practice, we free ourselves from the "old food" of the past and the "unprepared food" of the future, allowing us to live with greater wisdom, peace, and presence. air.Es: De repente, globos de colores vivos comenzaron a elevarse sobre las camas, provocando sonrisas y miradas de confusión.En: Suddenly, brightly colored balloons began to rise above the beds, provoking smiles and looks of confusion.Es: Carlos siempre había creído en el poder del humor para sanar, pero aquel día, en su entusiasmo por sorprender a todos, había decidido reemplazar las returned.Es: "Tengo trabajo que hacer," murmuró para sí mismo.En: "I have work to do," he murmured to himself.Es: Se disculpó con el personal, atanando cada receta con cuidado.En: He apologized to the profession.Es: Cuando todo estuvo en orden, Carlos apareció en la sala común, aún vestido de pato gigante, con menos globos, pero con más ideas.En: When everything was in order, Carlos appeared in the common room, still dressed as the giant duck, with fewer balloons but more ideas.Es: "Lo siento mucho.En: "I'm really sorry.Es: Me dejé llevar, pero les prometo que no volverá a suceder," dijo con sinceridad.En: I got carried away, but I promise it won't happen again," he said sincerely.Es: Los pacientes soltaron carcajadas.En: The patients burst into laughter.Es: María y Luis le dieron un aprobado con un gesto.En: María and Luis gave him an approving nod.Es: A veces, pensó Carlos, hacer la diferencia significaba encontrar el equilibrio entre la diversión y la responsabilidad.En: Sometimes, thought Carlos, making a difference meant finding the balance between fun and responsibility.Es: Y en aquella tarde cálida de verano, entre risas y jeringas, Carlos entendió que el humor es valioso, pero siempre debía aceptar sus errores con gracia.En: And on that warm summer afternoon, between laughter and syringes, Carlos understood that humor is valuable, but he always had to accept his mistakes gracefully. En: Thus, again, the tension dissipated in the makeshift hospital under the sun, and Carlos, with his charming clumsiness, found a way to repair his missteps, showing that it was possible to heal with both smiles and proper medicine.Es: En aquel fin de jornada, el hospital no solo estaba lleno de salud, sino también de buen ánimo, gracias a un doctor vestido de pato amarillo, y su lección aprendida.En: At the end of that day, the hospital was not only full of health but also of good spirits, thanks to a doctor dressed as In this deeply reflective episode of Joey Pinz Conversations, Joey Pinz sits down with former professional table tennis player and performance coach Jure Koscak to explore chronic pain, nervous system regulation, emotional maturity, and the hidden cost of living in survival mode.Raised in Slovenia and now living in Punta Cana, Jure shares how years of overtraining, relentless pressure, and internal tension eventually led to severe chronic pain and a complete rethinking of life. Through clinical somatics, breathwork, slowing down, and self-awareness, he discovered a new path centered on presence instead of performance. This conversation dives into subconscious patterns, stress, trauma, healing, relationships, and why many high performers struggle to relax even after reaching success. Jure also explains how modern life disconnects us from our bodies — and why slowing down may be the key to clarity, health, and emotional freedom. If you've ever felt overwhelmed, stuck in your own head, or constantly chasing the next outcome, this episode will challenge the way you think about success, pressure, and what it means to truly live.
Hello Beautiful, I'm so grateful you're here with me.
Send us Fan MailYour breath is doing more than keeping you alive. It might be the fastest way back to your body, your truth, and the parts of you that have been running the show from the shadows. We sit down with Dr. Colleen Quinn, transpersonal psychologist and author of Essence Merging, to talk about conscious breathwork as a bridge between psychology and spiritual healing. We unpack the difference between simple breathing and using breath as a doorway into deeper awareness, including why so many “helpful” tools can still feel like band-aids when trauma and unprocessed emotion live in the nervous system. Dr. Quinn shares how breathwork can surface forgotten memories and patterns at a pace you can handle, creating enough safety to finally feel what was once overwhelming and to complete the body's stuck survival responses. We also dig into language and intention as real forces in mind-body health. Dr. Quinn explains why “I am” statements can quietly turn passing states into fixed identities, how hidden intentions shape outcomes like scarcity vs abundance, and why physical symptoms can reflect emotional energy that never got to move. Along the way, she offers grounded practices you can use immediately: returning to the breath, restoring genuine connection through eye contact and consensual touch, giving affirmations more freely, and using the mantra “sat nam” (“I am that which I gaze upon”) as a simple daily anchor for presence. If you're exploring breathwork for trauma healing, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, or spiritual growth, this conversation gives you language, stories, and practical next steps. As we move through the second week of July, the Akashic Records offer a gentle yet powerful reminder:✨ Let go to receive. This week's message isn't about dramatic change or forcing yourself to release everything that no longer serves you. Instead, it's an invitation to create a little more space—within your heart, your mind, your home, and your spirit—for what is quietly trying to emerge. The Records shared the image of opening the door of a bird's cage after a season of healing. While there may be tenderness in letting go, there is also freedom. Every small act of release becomes an invitation for something new to enter. In this episode, we explore:
Have you ever had someone choose to step away from a relationship with you? In this heartfelt episode of The Spiritual Cupcake Podcast, Candace shares an unexpected conversation that began with a simple question about her sister's garden and unfolded into a meaningful discussion about family, boundaries, and personal growth. When Candace's son asked why someone might not want a relationship with a family member, it opened the door to an important life lesson: we all get to choose who we invite into our circle, and others get to make that choice too. Candace reflects on being blocked by her sister on social media and why, surprisingly, she feels grateful for it. If being connected to someone doesn't bring peace, joy, or well-being, perhaps the most loving thing we can do is respect their decision and release the need to hold on.
Why do you keep experiencing the same patterns during ascension, even when you're doing the inner work? In this episode, I explore why recurring emotional patterns, intense energy waves, and familiar challenges continue to surface during the ascension process. If you've been wondering why it feels like the same struggles keep returning, this will give you a new way to understand what's happening. Many people focus on managing ascension symptoms but overlook a deeper reason these patterns and symptoms persist. This perspective can help you better navigate your ascension journey, integrate higher consciousness, and move through recurring experiences with greater awareness.
Send us Fan MailWhat if the reason you keep repeating the same emotional patterns isn't because you're broken—but because your nervous system is still protecting you from a past it believes is happening now?In this episode, I sit down with biochemist, psychotherapist, and creator of Healing From the Body Level Up, Dr. Judith Swack, to explore why insight alone rarely creates lasting change—and how true healing begins when we work with the body, the unconscious mind, and the nervous system together. We dive into the science behind EFT tapping and energy psychology, unpacking how stimulating specific meridian points may help calm the stress response, restore balance, and shift the body out of fight-or-flight. Dr. Swack explains the connection between nerve endings, endorphins, homeostasis, and why emotional trauma often continues to live in the body long after the event has passed. You'll also learn practical techniques you can begin using immediately, including an effective self-hug alternating bicep tapping exercise, breathwork, meditation, and movement practices designed to regulate the nervous system and release stored stress. The conversation then expands into a deeper exploration of healing and alignment. Dr. Swack introduces her four-level model of human experience—the conscious mind, unconscious mind, body, and soul—and explains how misalignment across these levels can contribute to anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, addiction, insomnia, and the feeling of being outwardly successful while inwardly unfulfilled.Through compelling client stories and decades of clinical experience, she offers a grounded, science-informed perspective on trauma, PTSD, emotional healing, and what it truly means to live in alignment with your deepest purpose.Whether you're navigating unresolved trauma, chronic stress, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, this conversation offers practical tools, fresh perspectives, and genuine hope for lasting transformation. If this episode resonates with you, please subscribe, share it with someone who may benefit, and leave a review to help support future conversations.Support the showThank you for listening

What if you have more influence over your thoughts, emotions, and healing than you realize? In this episode, I sit down with neurosurgeon, author, and podcast host Dr. Lee Warren to discuss the powerful connection between neuroscience, faith, and emotional healing. Dr. Leaf suggests starting with calming neurophysiology through practices like meditation, breathing exercises, or creating physical space. She emphasizes the importance of focusing on positive aspects to build mental health and activate resilience. Dr. Leaf encourages giving oneself permission to be messy while managing the chaos through self-analysis and identifying emotions. Additionally, she explores the challenge of feeling undeserving of love, often stemming from childhood or adolescent experiences. Dr. Leaf advocates for a structured approach to overcome these feelings, involving identifying roots, divorcing behaviors from the person, and creating a mind management space in the home for open communication and support. Today, I interview Beth Erlander, a grief expert and therapist who spent years believing she had to stop being a caregiver before she could truly support other caregivers. Although she had helped people through grief for more than 26 years, Beth hesitated to focus on this work because she was still living it herself. In our conversation, she didn't think she was ready, and she wasn't sure she had enough distance from her own experience to guide others through theirs. She shares what helped her stop waiting, why she finally became comfortable with not having all the answers, and how her own experience gave her a deeper understanding of the people she felt called to serve. We also explore why grief is more than death loss, how it can show up in life's transitions, and what it means to give grief a voice.Today, Beth helps those who unexpectedly find themselves caring for a spouse or partner navigate the emotional realities of caregiving. Through her professional experience and her own journey, she is creating programs that help caregivers feel seen, understood, and supported while navigating a grief that often goes unrecognized.__________________Beth Erlander, LPC, grief expert and seasoned therapist with over 26 years of experience. She works with grief and loss issues from any kind of sudden life transition. Have you ever become so familiar with your struggle that it started to shape your identity? In episode three of our Summer Recap Series, Shelley Giglio is joined by Christine Caine as she opens John 5 and unpacks the story of the man who sat beside the Pool of Bethesda waiting for his breakthrough. Through Scripture and personal testimony, Christine challenges us to consider the ways we've become comfortable sitting in disappointment, bitterness, fear, shame, or unbelief—and reminds us that Jesus is still asking, "Do you want to be healed?" Healing isn't just about leaving something behind; it's about stepping into the purpose God has prepared for us. Whether you're carrying wounds from your past, struggling to trust God with your future, or simply feeling stuck in your faith, this message will encourage you to get up, pick up your mat, and walk in the freedom Jesus has already made available. If you're ready to stop being defined by your issue and start living from your identity as a daughter of God, this episode is for you. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Learn about the Healing Power of Prolonged Fasting: HEREWhat if the moment that shattered the life you carefully built became the moment that showed you what healing really is?This episode is a little different. Instead of sitting in the host seat, I'm the one answering the questions. My dear friend and colleague, Dr. Nasha Winters invited me onto her podcast, Tend the Terrain, for a conversation that went somewhere I didn't expect. It got honest. It got deeply personal. And it went straight to the heart of why I left a 20-year career as a radiation oncologist at the top of my field and what I found on the other side.I'm sharing it here because I think you need to hear it.We get into something I've rarely talked about in this much depth: a shared death experience I had in 2020 that fundamentally changed me. Not just personally, but in how I understand illness, healing, and what the body may be trying to communicate when it gets sick.If you've ever felt like your diagnosis is something happening to you, this conversation may help you see your body differently.Chapters:04:15 - The Crack in the Foundation06:38 - Sitting With Death08:29 - When the Soul Let Go10:08 - Proof She Could Not Ignore13:16 - Leaving Conventional Oncology14:30 - Why Illness Carries a Message16:30 - Healing the Human First18:41 - Why Fasting Became the Path19:02 - The Four Things Healers Do21:19 - Stop Your World to Heal23:14 - What Happens Inside the Fast24:55 - The Deep Healing After Day Seven27:00 - Refeeding Matters Most32:00 - Why Doctors Feel the System Breaking34:01 - Food as the First Foundation36:13 - The Ripple That Could Change Cancer Care36:50 - Holding Peace While Healing OthersWe also go deep into prolonged water fasting, not as a trend, but as a biological and spiritual tool for healing. I walk through what's happening in the body from the first 36 hours through the deeper work that only begins after day seven. I also explain why fasting at this depth is not something to improvise alone, and why proper guidance and refeeding matter so much. There's a reason I've built my current practice around this work, and it's not the reason most people assume.By the end, you'll understand why the four things I've seen again and again in people who heal are not what conventional medicine ever taught me to look for.Press play and learn why your body was never broken to begin with, and what it may have been waiting for you to understand.Tend The Terrain™ Podcast with Dr. Nasha: https://www.youtube.com/@drnashawintersJoin Dr. Katie's 3-Day Guided Fast, for expert support, daily live calls, and a community to fast alongside: Sign-Up Follow Dr. Katie Deming on InstagramWatch on YoutubeDISCLAIMER: The Born to Heal Podcast is intended for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for seeking professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The fixer. The parent. In this episode, Dimple breaks down: • Why women become caretakers after betrayal • The connection between childhood conditioning and staying • How responsibility turns into self-betrayal • Why you cannot heal while parenting the person who hurt you • The moment empathy starts costing you your safety and voiceThis episode is for you if: • You stayed because leaving felt “cruel” • You feel responsible for someone who betrayed you • You've always been the strong one, the fixer, the emotional supportHere's the truth: You are not heartless for choosing yourself.
