Overcoming the Tempter Have you ever felt like you're on the mountain top in one area of life, only to be in the deepest valley in another area? How do you handle going from heaven's approval, to hell's attack? The account of Jesus in the gospels being led in to the desert and tempted by Satan provides a clear and resounding example of understanding the right response and posture to have when we are at a low point and the enemy's temptations come calling!!!!!First of all, anchor yourself in the knowledge that being in the wilderness isn't punishment, it's preparation.

What we really believe about God's Word shows not in what we say, but in our actions. Faith not only speaks, it moves, alive and active.  Challenge yourself to speak ONLY faith based truths, based on what God's Word says. The profession of your mouth creates the reality of your life. Do not allow the devil to deplete your faith and steal your confident trust in the promises of God's Word!!!

Our pain can be turned to purpose, and suffering to salvation; but only when it's given unto the Lord.Examine your heart today, are you living a lifestyle rife with self sufficiently, ego, pride, lust, and so on? What is in your heart that you may not want to let go of, but you know you need to give up?Don't delay, not even another day, set everything aside for the sake of Christ, and step in to the kind of life that can be found only in Him!!!!!!

Wisdom, it is the difference between a good life and a God life. Just reading the Word is not enough, wisdom requires application. Knowing what is right and doing what is right are two different things, wisdom is active! Choosing to allow God's Word to discipline and course correct us, is where true wisdom lies. Proverbs 3 reminds us that God's correction is born of love and pushes us towards maturity. God is so faithful, His discipline is productive and gracious. We can trust that He knows what is best for us, and has never left us alone. Dig in to God's Word, apply it to your life and allow it to change you! God see's who He created us to be, despite our flaws. No one can turn our lives to good the way He can!!!!
