Starting the 1st of June, all of South Africa will move from level 4 lock-down to level 3. This is great news and brings alot of joy and freedom to the people! One of the biggest changes that we will see will be more freedom on movement and so the ability to exercise and move more! Before we start the day by jumping straight back into what we were used to before quarantine, it is important to note that our bodies, muscles and mind have deteriated alot and we not as strong, flexible or mobile as we use to be. I discuss some habits and events that can take place before this day to maximize your return to fitness and most importantly prevent any injuries!

We all know that nutrition is probably the hardest part to get right or even understand when you start your fitness journey. The golden rule of training is known as the 70 - 30 split, where 70% of the results are made in the kitchen (A.k.a nutrition) and 30% comes from the gym. It is very important to get this right straight from the beginning as it well set a good path going forward and guarantee results. To many times have we heard that people follow a legit 3 month training program but don't get the results they want, due to them failing in the kitchen. So this episode talks about what you can do to fine tune your nutrition and what changes you can implement to gradually develop a healthy eating habit.
