Trigger warning for this episode as it talks of her experiences of sexual abuse as a child and a woman. I admire and appreciate Bekah's bravery in sharing her story on continuing to rise up after being sexually abused throughout her life. Everyone's journey to healing is different, Bekah's ways of healing will be different from yours but we hope that this episode and her sharing will at least help give someone that push to get help and address their trauma. There is hope and better times ahead, get help, you cannot do this alone!
This video is visually a little different than the others due to covid-19 as Haven and I talked via FaceTime to discuss her journey of self love through being sexual abused as a child. I Appreciate this strong and amazing woman being brave and sharing her story! You are loved and worthy of love and to be happy!

Welcome back to the Self Love Series with Cass Atiga! In this episode I sit down with the beautiful Tina and Nisha and talk about the single life and how that has influenced their self love. My take aways from sitting down with these ladies was don't wait. Your best life and pursuing your dreams are on the other side of your fear. When you live up to doing things that make you better for YOU that is what sets you up for healthy relationships. NOT when you do things to be valued and loved by someone else. Things won't stick when you are doing it for those reasons. You set yourself up for a toxic relationship when you think you can change someone or that you're going to do x, y, or z so that they notice and want to be with you. Another person does not make you whole, you are whole on your own. Self Care Practices to better their moods: Tina: Cleaning Nisha: Talking to loved ones and Hiking being out in nature and moving your body Episode 7 Call to Action: Take the risk and show up for yourself. Don't wait to have a significant other. Book that dream trip. Buy that condo/townhome/house. Leave that job you hate. Take that job that excites and challenges you. Get that trainer and get in the best shape of your life. Pursue your dreams.
Love these ladies and the very raw and real convo I had with Tina and Candace about their experiences with postpartum depression. Call to Action for the week: Think about how you can BETTER show up for yourself. Recite to yourself, “My feelings are valid, I deserve to be happy.” Then commit to doing the 1 harder thing that you have been putting off but you know is going to benefit you and lead you down the road to recovery. ***you can do hard things and you are worth the effort*** If you are struggling with this get help, it does not make you weak, you cannot do it alone, your feelings are valid and you deserve to be happy. If someone you love reaches out to you in that they are struggling with this, be there to listen so they feel seen, keep loving them, and be open minded.
In this episode I share my journey of Self Love and why I started the Self Love Series. Call to action for this week is making a list of the blessings that have come through a set back in your life. When we change our views on our circumstances, when we change our thoughts, we change our life!

Welcome back to my Self Love Series! Episode 2 with Luisa Iongi Today I am sitting down with the amazing Luisa Iongi! This episode is able to show how spiritual self love is. Self love is knowing who we are and where we come from. When we TRULY love ourselves we want to live up to that knowledge and when we truly love ourselves we want others to feel that too so we are able to go outward and serve. I misquoted the one and only Alison Faulkner in this video who says, “ Self love is the greatest form of service that we can put into this world because when we love ourselves we actually think about ourselves less.” Self-Care Pick Me Up Suggestions from Luisa: -Time to Yourself - Personal Hygiene (Shaving/Waxing) - cleaning/organizing your home Self Love Episode 2 Call to Action for the Week: Go out and find ways to Serve others! Let us know your experience if you try these self-care actions! Follow me on Instagram: @cassidinae
