This Sunday will be a morning of worship. We will focus on Joshua 6 and how God’s people embraced a faith that brought down the walls of Jericho.

On Sunday, we will do a deep dive into Isaiah 40, hoping to paint a picture of the relationship between God and humanity. We will uncover the tools that will equip us for achieving our greatest kingdom success!
As we honored Dr. King yesterday, we sit with the weight of this moment - stepping into another Trump presidency. Many of us remain committed to working towards a country rooted in collective liberation. Mom and I decided to root our discussion around Dr. King legacy, and his last book, Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? In this two part conversation, we chat with three phenomenal women, Rev. Amanda Hambrick Ashcraft, writer, organizer, speaker, and Consulting Minister for Justice & Community Organizing at Middle Church, the founder of Raising Imagination, Avril Somerville, writer poet, and author of A Journey Of Life On PURPOSE, and Yaa Abbensetts-Dobson, writer and author (Departure Story), editor, entrepreneur and founder of Spoken Black Girl, and host of The Healing Entrepreneur Podcast. Together we unpack - building beloved community, why the church must divest from the false ideology of white supremacy, continually organizing for collective liberation, decolonizing, resisting the rise of global fascism, standing in active intersectional solidarity with all who are oppressed (because of race, disability, sexuality, gender, gender identity, etc.) the importance of soul work, and the many ways our faith in God, and creativity can propel us forward (Micah 6:8). Rev. Amanda is passionate about the intersections of race, faith, politics, and parenting and having conversations that move us towards a liberated society. She has presented nationwide on topics including systemic injustice, religion, raising white children as anti-racist, and involving young children in advocacy. You can learn more about her work here. This Sunday, we will continue our 21 days of intentional prayer, where we “consecrate” ourselves for the purposes of God!
2025 is upon us, and we want to start the year out right by setting our gaze on Jesus! This Sunday, we will focus our attention on the next 21 days, an intentional season of prayer, where we “consecrate” ourselves for the purposes of God!
This is the last Sunday before Christmas, the day we celebrate the Advent of Love, the driving force behind Jesus coming to earth. Understanding and grabbing hold of this truth can change everything in life…if we let it!
Sunday we celebrate the Advent of Joy. We will look at it through an honest lens, recognizing that joy oftentimes feels distant and far away… even though it is ALWAYS present with us! How do we connect to it? What are we missing?
This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent. It will be a time to slow down and ask God to awaken us to the hope found in Him in this season. If you feel in need of an awakening, if you feel the need of hope in a difficult season, or if you feel like something just isn’t right in your life, I want to invite you to come this Sunday and ask God to open your eyes to see Him in ways you haven’t seen Him in a long time!
God designed us to do life together, just as Jesus did with His closest friends. Living in community is a practice God invites us into because of the way it shapes and impacts us. On Sunday, we will discuss the why and the how, as we take one step closer to becoming apprentices of Jesus!
In our study, Practicing the Way, this week is crucial as we strategize and develop a plan for our spiritual formation, building on the practices we've explored over the past six weeks. In doing this, we dedicate our best energies to the thing we love most, which is relationship with Jesus and becoming more like Him.
Our walk with Jesus would be so much easier if we didn’t have sin to contend with. We all know the inner struggle when we’re faced with thoughts or ideas that go against what we believe to be true or hinder the steps we should be taking in life. When we take a wrong step, we often feel shame, as if walls have been erected in our hearts between us and God. This Sunday, we’ll explore the practice God created to conquer sin and its impact on our lives—the practice of confession. Don’t miss this conversation; it could bring the freedom you've been longing for.
This Sunday, we take our next step in the "Practicing the Way" series. We will be focusing on finding God in pain and suffering. This is an area the church has struggled in, and learning to connect with him in these moments is vital to our ongoing spiritual growth. Hope to see you here on Sunday!
On Sunday we turn our attention to “The Practices," the very things Jesus gave himself to that shaped his life and his relationship with the Father. In learning and practicing them ourselves, the hope is that we become like Jesus, go the rhythm of Jesus, and experience the fullness of Jesus.
Andy and Mon-Chaio explore the concept of growth and improvement, focusing on technical leadership. They learn about deliberate practice and discuss its role in enhancing skills for leaders. Scrabble players help them identify practices that lead to skill improvements and contrasting methods that don't, such as casual reading or working. The discussion wanders to how these findings relate to NBA coaching and engineering leadership. By the end, listeners will understand why deliberate practice, reflection, and handling high-stakes situations are essential for leaders aiming to improve their skills. This Sunday, we will begin our new series called "Practicing the Way". It will be an important conversation around what it means to be an active follower of Jesus, a true apprentice who is with Jesus, who learns from Jesus, and does what Jesus does.
On Sunday, we step into week five of our Freedom series. We will focus on three core lies each of us struggle with that are birthed from the primary lie we talked about two weeks ago that leads to all sin... God is not enough. Our goal is to expose the lies, step into truth, and gain deeper freedom in every aspect of life!
On Sunday, we pause to talk about the power of shame that keeps many from stepping into the freedom available to us in Jesus and embracing our true identity as God’s children and friends. We will talk about it in light of the three cultural issues we have looked at. Money and finances, image and reputation, sex and love, and steps we can take to say yes to how Jesus views us.
Viewer Discretion is Advised On Sunday, we will continue our conversation about God‘s desire to bring freedom versus enslavement. Our focus will be on God’s gift of sex and the perversion of it in the world which leads many to spiritual bondage. I’ve invited Taylor Chastain to be part of the conversation to help us walk through a biblical journey of Gods gift, the impact of the fall and God’s desire for redemption.
This Sunday is a unique one. First, I get to invite Jamar and Elizabeth Cossick to share about two key cultural struggles that can lead to spiritual slavery…money and personal image. Second, we will end service hearing from all of our ministry leads and ways you can get connected at Vintage. You won’t want to miss it!
On Sunday, we shift our focus to the heart of the good news of Jesus…God’s power to bring freedom to all who believe! With our focus on freedom, we will also focus on the trappings of our culture that work to steal our freedoms and how we need to attack them! Our focus will be Galatians chapters 5 and 6.

This Sunday, we will take some time to look at our namesake verse, Acts 2:42. It is a foundational verse that speaks volumes about who we are at Vintage and who we are always aspiring to be as a church family. It also speaks to the expectations we can have of one another and the expectations we should expect others to have of us. This Sunday, we will unpack this verse and how we need to engage it once again to be the church God has called us to be.

Today marks the first of a two-week look at the moment God clearly defined his expectations of our relationship with him. Expectations are a gift because they bring clarity, and clarity is kindness. In preparation, we invite you to read Deuteronomy 10:12–22.
Happy Father’s Day! Today’s message is specifically tailored toward our men. We are told to be leaders, love well, and fight for and defend those we love, but sometimes we struggle. And that does not make us weak... that makes us human! This morning, I want to highlight a few different struggles common to most men, highlight truths from scripture we can hold onto, and hopefully take some steps towards greater wholeness and healing that can empower our everyday lives.
We can’t wait to slow down this Sunday and let you hear from our very own Steve and Janine Leone as they share a bit of their story from this past year and their difficult, but grace-filled, journey with Steve’s cancer. Their story is raw, authentic, and inspiring, and if you are in your own difficult season, wondering where God is and if there is anything to hope for in life... this Sunday is for you!
Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. It is the day that officially marked the launch of the church as the disciples were empowered by the Spirit and sent into a world in desperate need. This Sunday, we will take time to break it down, look at its history, what it means, and why it is so important!
Mothers are meant to be celebrated, and that is exactly what we will do this Sunday. We will take time to look at Mary, the mother of Jesus, her strength, and how Jesus cared for her. But we will also talk about the influence moms from all walks of life have in the lives of those they are investing in and how necessary they are in our world today.
This Sunday, we will talk about the mission of the church, our place in it, and the supernatural power of God that enables us. The message will be simple: we are incapable of doing anything God calls us to do in our own strength. We need Him!

This Sunday, we are excited to have Tammy Hutchins, aka Tammyma, with us to talk about the superNATURAL in light of her stories of Jesus moving again and again in her family in India over the past 27 years. You don’t want to miss it!
Sunday is going to be an important morning! April Joonsar will be sharing her story in light of our conversation last week on anxiety and depression. You don’t want to miss it! We will then turn our attention to our two-week series titled superNATURAL where we will talk about the powerful things God can do and our hope for them, while also discussing how easy it is to miss what God is doing because it looks different than we may expect. We feel that this will be an important word for where God has us going in the next 6 months at Vintage!
Depression and Anxiety…do you know anyone, maybe yourself, who is facing one, if not both, of these on a weekly basis? In our culture, it truly feels like an epidemic that is affecting everyone both inside and outside of the church, and this Sunday we want to spend our time focusing on it together. I have invited two friends, Jesus-loving therapists, who will be talking about these issues, defining symptoms for us, and then talking about how we recognize and handle them in our marriages, parenting, and our relationship with Jesus.
Join us for a conversation with Co-Hosts Walker Lott & Davis Hambrick as they discuss the challenging aspects of stepping into new roles. Sunday is Resurrection Sunday, the day we remember and celebrate Jesus' victory over death. We will worship, celebrate baptism, and talk about the life of expectation available to us now in Jesus. It will be a morning of hope and joy as we speak of the goodness of God, His love for us, and the hope available to us in the life of Jesus!!
The Triumphal Entry! On Sunday, we join with billions of believers all over the world as we look at Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, the start of Holy Week. It is a day of excitement, hopes fulfilled, expectations being met…only for Jesus to let everyone down by not meeting any of their expectations!! We will tell the story, look at its meaning, and talk about our expectations of Jesus and what we need to learn from this story.
Join us as we look at Jesus before his triumphal entry, loving on people and intentionally stopping to bring healing to those in need. But what we will also see is Intentional asking from those in need. In both stories, there is much to be learned about how we can choose to live intentionally in 2024.
Good Morning Nashville! ☀️
We’ve said for a couple of weeks now that being Intentional in our pursuit of Jesus requires effort and energy, and that knowing him the way we want doesn’t happen by chance or by accident. But what is the destination of our effort and energy? What does that mean, and what is God calling us to? On Sunday, we will talk about what it means to slow down and rest in Jesus!
One of the byproducts of living Intentionally is that it takes time to achieve our desired outcome. That time period requires waiting, and waiting is something most people struggle with!! On Sunday, we will talk about the biblical understanding of it, how it is talked about in scripture, and how we can apply it to our lives today.
This Sunday, we continue our Intentional series, focusing on the words of Jesus and Paul as they talk about the internal struggle we all face between our passions and our convictions. Our hope for Sunday is to be honest about our struggle, recognize God’s strength, and take steps towards a more intentional life in Jesus!!
We end our Intentional 21-Day Fast with a morning of celebratory prayer and worship.
The second week of our 21 Day Intentional Fast begins on Sunday. This week, as we go into Mark 9 and Matthew 17, we will unravel God's power that is available to us through the marriage of prayer and fasting. We will examine two disputed verses in each chapter and determine what we can gain from them.
