Redeeming Grace Community Church

What do we do when we feel like God has let us down? This week, we find ourselves walking through the wilderness with the people of the Exodus to find out how we can trust in the promises of God when our circumstances cause us to doubt.

The incarnational work of Jesus did not end at his birth, but was the defining theme of his entire ministry as he shared his life with the most unexpected people in order to give them the invitation to follow after him. And now, as his disciples, he calls us to do the same.

Jesus tells us that the marks of his disciples are simple and clear: that we abide in Him and that we love one another.

At Redeeming Grace, we believe that the church is not a building or an event, but a people called together by the Gospel for the sake of life together and fulfilling the mission of Jesus.

At Redeeming Grace, we believe the way that we worship matters and it is our desire that our worship is always and only shaped by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In this first sermon of a three part series on our core convictions as a church, Lead Pastor Chris Dills walks us through our foundation and our ambition as a church family.

If we are called to be like Jesus, we must walk how Jesus walked, where Jesus walked. In this sermon, we are reminded that one of those places Jesus will lead us is through the pains of suffering and hardship and learn how to follow Jesus well in seasons of great difficulty.

As followers of Jesus, we can be painfully aware of the fact that we are exiles living in a strange land longing for Jesus to make this world our home. Peter gives us some reminders of who we are so we can remember how to live in a world that can feel so strange.

Salvation is the catalyst and the destination of the Christian life. In this sermon from 1 Peter 1:3-9, we examine what we receive as a gift through salvation and how it sets us on a course to be ministers of the Gospel.

We all have a problem, a sickness, and God has not only given us the diagnosis, but he has the cure.

How is a Christian supposed to respond to the scary world presented in the book of Ecclesiastes? Do not be afraid. How is that possible? Because Christ has been raised from the dead!

The problem with being a sinner is we can't seem to stop sinning. We cause ourselves problems, hurt others, and separate ourselves from our God. But then came Jesus and as he rode a donkey into Jerusalem fulfilled a vision the Teacher in Ecclesiastes saw hundreds of years earlier and everything changed.

Death is inevitable. Death is scary. But does it have to be? How does a follower of Jesus approach the reality of our mortality? Let's find out.

How do followers of Jesus live in a world with unjust men and women in places of high authority? The answer begins in Ecclesiastes and is fully realized in the life of Christ and teaching of the apostles in the New Testament.

Have you ever felt like you've just messed up too many times for God to love you? Or maybe you feel like you've done so much good that you don't get the proper praise you deserve. The Teacher in Ecclesiastes ran the full spectrum between both of these views and found them each to be exhausting. But the Gospel speaks a better word, provides a better approach to living Christ-honoring lives that leaves us refreshed and not destroyed.

There is a hunger, a desire to find satistfaction in every person. We can look to so many different places to find them, but it's only in Christ that true satisfaction can ever be truly known.

How do we approach a just and holy God? The Teacher of Ecclesaistes has a few suggestions.

A selfish life can bring a lot of success and rewards that seem to make us happy, but in reality always leave us longing for something else. God has designed a better way for us to live: together. This week we look at the beauty of life in community.

How do we navigate the seasons of life that are beyond our control? This is a question that Ecclesiates poses...and Jesus answers.

What if I told you that it was possible to fulfill all your ambitions, accomplish all your goals, experience everything you could ever hope to experience and still waste your life? That is the central idea to todays passage in Ecclesiastes, but once again, the Gospel has an answer.

How do we exist in a world where the more know the easier it is to become cynical and jaded? We look to Jesus!
